Dock-a-tot

Has anyone tried this expensive contraption? Is it a total gimmick? I'm tempted because my 9 month old will sleep in his crib, but is all over the damn place and bonks his head (which wakes him up) about every hour. I'm sleep deprived enough I'm considering buying one, but wondered if anyone had experience with the dock-a-tot, especially with older kiddos. I know crib bumpers are a suffocation no-no, but does anyone use those?

I use the crib bumpers. If I didn't I probably wouldn't get any sleep at all

I use crib bumpers also, I bought the mesh kind.

I also have the mesh bumpers (Amazon) they help him keep his arms and legs inside the crib. He still pushes up to the bars and bonks his head but he seems to be able to put himself back to sleep so it must help a bit.
