Diclegis!!!!!!!

Y'all, God is real and he loves us so!
I have a friend that's about one week ahead of me, and she's announced her pregnancy already on Facebook. I messaged her so we could complain together and she said she was just like me, nauseous 24 hrs a day, dry heaving, couldn't cook, until her dr prescribed Diclegis. She said she hasn't been nauseous once since starting it and feels like a million bucks!! Y'all I practically ran to my phone to call my OB, whom I haven't even seen yet for my 1st appt. the nurse was amazing and said my Dr. Calls it a miracle drug and for me to get ready to feel great very soon! I literally cried on the phone with this disciple of Jesus. i told her I love her! FYI, it's pronounced dye-clee-gis. You're welcome!!!

Re: Diclegis!!!!!!!

  • On my second dose and I feel like a new person! I ate something today and kept it down!

  • I started this a little over a week ago. I don't feel 100% but the nausea is mostly manigable now. It only hits me a few times a day vs all day long. I hope you feel better soon!
  • Are you on 2,3,or 4 pills a day?
  • I am taking 3 -- 2 at night and one in the morning.
  • It is amazing.
  • I started last night.

I woke up and was able to cook my daughter and myself breakfast. I didn't heave once today. Praise the lord.
  • I am taking the max dose and still feel like crap 24/7. I hate to think of what I would be like without it but it isn't a miracle drug for me. :(

  • I'm taking it and still feel like hell. I don't puke as much but I'm still not functioning well at work. And I'm kind of scared of taking medicine. Didn't they say Zofran had bad effects? I can't help but worry but I NEED any help I can get. I'm glad it's helping so many of you though! Thank goodness for advanced science and the miracle of new medications
My doctor gave me a couple sample bottles and I need to go pick up the script. I may have to up to the full dose but the anxiety is real......

Zofran isn't suppose to used on pregnant women it was ment for chemo patients. If you have to take it for pregnancy it is because no other option is working or you have pretty bad MS requiring hospitalization. Diclectin is safe for pregnancy it was developed for pregnancy. I am on the max dose and was for my DD I am not worried about taking it.

  • Oh I thought that was a standard pregnancy medication!!! Well that's a relief. I have a harder time trusting medications than is reasonable maybe. I can totally acknowledge that. I just see all those commercials about all these medicines that end up being bad in the long run and it freaks me out. I normally don't take medicine unless I absolutely have to. But I feel like I do NEED help. I'm totally miserable.
  • My doctor gave this to me the other day, but she also gave me a new prenatal vitamin with rounds of vitamin B and wants me to try this first since I'm high risk, but I just want to skip over it and try the Diclegis. I sure hope these next few days go by fast so I can say I gave the natural remedy a try and move on to the good stuff!
  • The Diclegis worked awesome for me from weeks 6.5-8, but then I felt terrible and felt better once adding 2 550 mg ginger supplements a day.  Those two together made me feel better from 8.5 to 9.2, but now at 9 weeks and 2 days, I am back to feeling terrible.  Am still taking both though, because I'm not sure I want to know how badly I'd feel without taking either.  Actually tried acupuncture and chiropractic treatment this morning... we'll see if that helps.

Hopefully the Diclegis will at least bring you some relief! This morning sickness is no joke!!

  • Doctor is calling in a script for Diclegis today. I can't wait to try it. I feel horrible. I never knew morning sickness was this bad.
