My last ultrasound was December 2, I was 28.5 weeks and they estimated him to be 3lbs 9oz at that time. They are concerned about his size because his head and abdomen are measuring in the 98th percentile. I have another ultrasound on the 13th to check his growth again.
Thank yall for the feed back. I went today for my first "check" appt and she was around 4lbs 8 ounces. She was still head up and I havent dialated at all. I am 35+3, to me she is still alittle on the smaller side. I know she has more " baking " to do in the next few weeks.
At my 34 week appointment he was already measuring 6 lbs and 38weeks and I was dilated to 1. I have my 36 week appointment next Monday and am anxious to see him again. Dr said his body is measuring normal but his head is on the big side which could be distorting the measurements
At 33 weeks + 5 he was weighing 5lb 12oz and they said he is in the 80th percentile. First baby was 8lb 5oz and 23 inches long so I guess I just carry big babies.
Weight measurements via ultrasound are almost never accurate. With DS1 they estimated at 38 weeks that he was 9 lbs 2 oz.... he was born 40+1 weeks at 8 lbs 1.3 oz. I will not be getting another ultrasound this pregnancy barring any issues, so I will find out the weight when DS2 is born.

Thats what I have heard and have read about. I wasnt scheduled for any other scans, but when I went in for my check she said that she wanted to check her weight. It kind of alarmed me when she mentioned it.
Edited to add.. they also may be off on my due date which could be making me seem smaller.
Is getting an ultrasound the only way they can estimate the weight? I will not be getting another u/s unless I have a problem. My doctor only does first &second trimester ultrasound. No 3rd one unless they see an issue. I'm going this Friday for my 36 week Checkup which is an internal exam. I was hoping they could tell me then.
I can understand why the weight would be off. They take 3 different measurements and based off those three measurements they can take a guess at a weight... Which could be totally off.

I just had an U/S yesterday but my doctors won't tell me her weight or how far behind she's fallen. It's making me mad. I can't keep food down anymore and I am so nervous about her not growing. All they say is "we don't need to worry about an early c-section just yet" okay. Unhelpful! Glad to hear so many of your LOs are doing so good!
ultrasound at 26 weeks, 2lbs exactly Ultrasound at 30 weeks, 3lbs exactly The tech said he was in the 34% range. All 3 of my kids were over 8 lbs at birth. I'm hoping he isn't 8lbs or bigger but I have a feeling he will be. Oh I'm 35 weeks 2 days and my dr hasn't thrown out estimates about how much he will weigh.

When I went in today the only thing she was able to tell me from the internal exam is that she said I still have a ways to drop drown, I have dialated at all. Then when all that was over she mentioned the weight check. Thats when they did the US and saw that she was still head up ( normal still ) and she was about 4 lbs 8 oz. We never know they could be wrong.
Just had my 36 week growth ultrasound and he was measuring 7lbs 9oz already - putting him in the 91st percentile. I have to go back tomorrow for a 3 hour glucose test because of his large size. I passed the 1 hr test just fine a while back but I guess this is just a precaution. At least that means less weight for me to lose after I give birth lol.

We just had u/s today. 34w5d and the dr. is saying baby boy is about 6 1/2 lbs. His head is in the 97th %ile and the rest of his body parts are measuring in the 85th %ile. Big boy like his daddy! I'm hoping the measurements they are giving us are off and that he is smaller.
At 34 weeks baby girl was weighing 4lbs 6oz and baby boy was 4lbs 7oz. They are now two weeks behind what they should be measuring, so my next growth scan got moved up to next week and depending on how they are growing (or not) they will be here either next week or the week after!

She is measuring about 2 weeks behind so that might have a little to do with it
