WAYDTGKU: waiting for AF to leave - vitamins and EPO
R/R/CS: I Just looked up and sent off an enquiry to a fertility acupuncturist nearby, we will go unaided this month but next month I qualify for full mat leave so I'll be all over that if we're still trying.
GTKY: (Stolen from TWW) what's your favourite breakfast food?
I love breakfast! Particularly hotel breakfast because then I can have it all!!!!! So hotel breakfast is my favourite breakfast food
R/R/CS: I had a perfect 28 day cycle last month and never got a + OPK even though I tested twice a day CD 10-18. I'm really frustrated. I'm adding temping this month. But I'm a lousy sleeper which is why I haven't tried it yet. I'm expecting it to be inaccurate.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favourite breakfast food? Omelets and bagels and pancakes and waffles. I love it all.

Me: 34, DH: 38 ~ TTC since 2014 IUI #1-3 (Nov 2015, Feb 2016, May 2016) = BFNs IVF ER (July 2016) = 7 PGS normal embryos FET #1 (Sept 2016) = BFP! DD born 5/30/17 FET #2 (April 2019) = BFN FET #3 (July 2019) = BFP! DS born 3/27/20
R/R/CS: i arrived back home on Saturday night. I've temped each morning since and my temps are ridiculously high for pre-O temps. (For my norm at least. Normal is below 97.5 and these are all mid 98s) I know jet lag can have an effect on temps but does anyone know how long it may effect it for? I traveled across 10 hours of time difference if that makes a difference. When I traveled initially 2.5 weeks ago I saw no change in my temps. I know no one else's experience will necessarily be my experience, just wondering what others experience is.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favourite breakfast food? I'm with @babymish and @wifeinraleigh28 I love it all!!! Give me all the deliciousness! Particular favorites are waffles, French toast, and any poached egg variety with hollandaise sauce!

R/R/CS: I got the most beautiful temp spike this morning so it looks like yesterday was O day. I know this sounds strange, but I feel like I O'd really "hard" yesterday. lol. I usually just have the normal signs of O (Fertile CM, positive OPKs, etc) but yesterday, I had a sharp pain in my right ovary area during BD, continued cramping on my right side throughout the morning, then a little bit of spotting, and then everything was gone. Obviously it could have been anything but I'm going with a good O
Question: For those of you that check CP, how long after O do you find your CP changes? This is my first cycle attempting to chart it.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favourite breakfast food? This is a tough one. It depends if I'm in the mood for sweet or savory. For savory, I'm gonna go with either a california omlette with all the avocado or huevos rancheros. For sweet, you can never go wrong with a good stack of pancakes but there is a brunch spot by me that makes homemade pop tarts that are to die for.

WAYDTGKTFU: Temping, having CD 3 testing today.
R/R/CS: Thank you to everyone for the well wishes yesterday. I'm going for my blood work at lunchtime today, but I guess I won't know much for a few days. We STILL do not have DH's SA results, and he was there over 3 weeks ago now. He has called and called, the nurses keep saying the doc will call him, but she doesn't. He called and complained yesterday, was told the same thing, and then the nurse called back at like 5pm when they were getting ready to close to apologize and say she put his chart on the doc's desk but she left for the day and she would call today. I'll believe it when I see it. I'm so annoyed, at this point I just want to get our results and have them transferred elsewhere because it has been ridiculous. I mean maybe the doc wasn't calling because it's not like they can do anything without my results anyway, and I obviously had to wait until today to get my tests done. But since he has called many times, I would think she would have called back by now. I'm hoping everything is fine and that's why she was in no hurry to call him, but at the same time I'm like, well if everything is fine why couldn't the nurse just say that?? Really hope he hears from her today like they said.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favourite breakfast food? I love all breakfast foods, except eggs. I don't think I can pick just one. Bacon, hash browns, and pancakes (preferably chocolate chip) are at the top of my list.

R/R/CS: so now that I'm not temping there's no way to know for sure when/if I O'd. FF says it "should" be today. I guess I'll just keep an eye on CM/CP to see if that changes. I'll be watching this thread for answers to @MRSCORKER 's question about CP/CM changes since it's also my first month monitoring it. Is it an immediate change or does it take a couple days? If things dry up and shift down today or tomorrow I'll probably head over to TWW. If this isn't our month I'm going back to temping. It's so frustrating to not know what's going on.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favourite breakfast food? I love french toast. I don't get/make it often so that's part of the appeal but YUM!
WAYDTGKTFU: all things, just never remembering to add them to my chart.
R/R/CS: Rant: yesterday L decided that he and mommy needed an all nighter. Last night he was just restless, so near constant whimpering/fussing causing me to spend most of the night awake and checking him. I NEED sleep.
Rave: one of my students has 9 week old puppies. One of my Christmas presents was that I can pick out a new dog. So today after school I'm picking up a new pup!
Question: it appears that this will be either a super long cycle or anovatory. So what can/do I do beside call the doc, if it hits 60 days? This is my first PP cycle, and I have no idea if/when I'll have regular cycles again.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favourite breakfast food?
Sweet is cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting. Savory is biscuits and sausage gravy.

R/R/CS: I've been having a ton of watery CM the last few days but neg OPKs. This would be way sooner than last month where I O'd on CD 31. I had multiple patches of fertile CM last month too so its just annoying trying to pinpoint O. If I put in 3 more high temps, FF gives me cross hairs for today. I think I need to stop fiddling with FF...
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favourite breakfast food? I love these chocolate frosted cake donuts from bakery that's about 45 min from my house. They are to die for.
@MRSCORKER I actually continue to check mine through to the end of my cycle. I always want to know if I get a random second patch of fertile fluid and I just like filling in that box. I think it's a personal preference, though.
@Kate08Young Re: annovulatory cycle and what to do aside from wait the 60 days...I don't think there's much else to do except keep tracking what's happening. Not a fun answer, maybe someone else has some better insight.

GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favourite breakfast food? I love breakfast SO MUCH. During the week, I like baked oatmeal with lots of fruit, but I love going out to breakfast and getting scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes with rye toast. I also love pancakes. Ooo, and French Toast. I can't pick a favorite!
@Kate08Young I think we're gonna need to see some picture evidence of that puppy...you know, just to be sure.
Month/Cycle: 1/1

WAYDTGKTFU: Temping, sex, PNVs
R/R/CS: My rant is that it is cold as balls today. I'm not walking my dog because I don't think it would be safe for him (I did let him out quickly to go of course) and that means he's likely to do some mischief while I'm at work. Oh well.
My question relates to CM. Even though this is our first cycle trying, I temped for the last few months while TTA to get the pill out of my system. I had, as they go, relatively regular cycles with clear temp shifts, though sometimes my crosshairs were dashed due to an ill-timed missed temp. However, I never really notice any CM of any kind, even with internal checks. If I do, it's such a small amount of moisture that I have to call it "watery" or "sticky". Most of you seem to find it quite easily. Is there anyone else that confirms O by temping but just can't find CM most of the time?
I will confess I haven't Googled this much, and often don't even read threads about it, because the first CM thread I ever clicked on someone had included a picture and it was pretty tough to look at for me. I'm working on this though.
GTKY: My favorite breakfast food is egg sandwiches with hot sauce. I have one almost every day (though not today because we are mid-getting a new range).
R/R/CS: It was 2°F this morning and I didn't die when I walked outside and the car started right away.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favourite breakfast food? I usually debate between pancakes and French toast with (real) maple syrup (because what other kind is there) and an egg or two on the side is a must. I also have a very soft spot for a local donut shop which makes THE best donuts, hands down.
R/R/CS: Well, still not feeling/seeing ovulation coming this month! I'm really surprised the upped dose of clomid still hasn't shortened my cycles. I wonder if I will ovulate on CD 28 like I have in the past couple of cycles? That's just where I want to do it, I guess. Clomid, or not! Also I have to go back to work today....sigh.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favourite breakfast food? Donuts, of course.
WAYDTGKTFU: pnv, hio eod to ed, temping, checking cm and cp
R/R/CS: my chart is still ugly but my temp went up today! If I put in two more high temps (I know, I know...) it looks like I ovulated yesterday. If so, we have pretty darn good timing and I'm feeling optomistic! That's a little earlier that normal for me to o but I wasn't sure with my cp last month how things would go. Yay body!
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favourite breakfast food? Skillets. A delicious mix of potatoes, veggies, cheese, with eggs on top. Yummmmmmmm.
R/R/CS: AF is the worst! I was on BC for so long that I forgot what my period was like and the cramps and exhaustion AF is causing is absolutely ridiculous! Luckily she only lasts for 3-4 days so she will be gone soon...
GTKY: I LOVE omelets with sausage, bacon and cheese. I also love waffles with peanut butter chips on top. Yumm!!

@Xstatic3333 Are you taking any kind of allergy medication or anti-histamine of any kind? So many things are drying. I had to get off of Zyrtec. Some people take guiafanesin (mucinex - but ONLY that ingredient) or drink green tea to try and get better CM, to varying degrees of success. Not sure what your daily habits are, but drink LOTS of water, that seems to help me.
@Xstatic3333 Oh, no. You don't have to worry about any of those nasty pictures here! Re: low CM... do you drink enough water? If not, the first thing you should do is increase your water intake. I've also heard of ladies using Evening Primrose Oil during the follicular phase ( I think you stop taking this once O is confirmed) and I've also heard taking mucinex can help with CM production. I would check with your doc before taking anything though just to make sure you are helping and not hindering. I'm always wary of supplements without a doctors OK.
I also agree that we're going to need pictures of that puppy @Kate08Young !

Super quickly. Usually my CM gets creamy and less in volume within a day of O day. Then it stays creamy/sticky until AF - I usually see an increase just before AF as well. Everyone is different to some degree, but I find it fascinating.

I'm the same with an increase in CM before AF. Last cycle it was out of control. I never seem to "dry" up though. I'm stalking my cervix to try and see if I can feel any changes. I'm not not convinced I've found it. lol

@Xstatic3333 this past month was the only month I noticed enough CM to feel like it meant anything. Prior to that, I was always able to confirm O just by temping and OPKs, but probably would have been fine with temps only because I had a clear shift. I have heard that making sure you are hydrated can help with CM, but it doesn't seem to make much difference for me. And I have also read that people have had success with using evening primrose oil (search EPO on here) to increase fertile CM.
And an update to my post: DH called and he got his results and everything looked great! This is a huge relief. She said the only thing that was technically low was the morphology, based on the old guideline. She said what was considered "normal" by the old standard was 14% and he was only at 7% but she didn't feel that was a concern at all because new standards suggest a lower level. His count and motility was great, both on the high end of normal. And there was no sperm in his urine, which was our main concern and why we even decided to see an RE so soon, because of a urinalysis that he had a couple of years ago that caused his PCP to suggest he may have retrograde ejaculation.
If my blood work comes back okay, we might just have to "try harder" I guess. Of course now I'm all, well if there's nothing wrong with him then there must be something wrong with me. But if I am honest, we only had really good timing 3, maybe 4, of the 6 cycles so far, so we are still well within the range of normal even though I'm approaching 35. I'm just glad we can rule out retrograde and move on.

@AndiPandi127 and @MRSCORKER thanks for your thoughts! I'm not on any medication, but I did incidentally just start drinking green tea as part of my tea instead of beer project, so it will be interesting to see if that helps! I'd say I'm middle of the road on hydration. I like water and drink a lot at home, but tend to let it slide during the workday. Far too soon to worry, of course, but those are all helpful tips to keep in mind!
Also, hooray for no CM pictures! One of the many reasons to like it here.
@Xstatic3333 - FWIW, I had hardly any CM the first cycle I temped. I drink tons of water so I blamed it on either just my biology or the pool I swim in which dries out all my skin everywhere. This past cycle I got sick at the beginning, and then I traveled, so I was out of the pool for most of WTO, so it could just be that but I was also taking plain Mucinex for my cough. I had a lot more CM on it, so I kept taking it through confirmed O.

@wifeinraleigh28 You might be surprised with temping. I was hesitant at first also because I never sleep for 3 hours straight. Just pick a time to take your temp and stick to it. In my experience, taking my temp at the same time gives me more accurate temps than trying to make sure its after a 3 hr block of sleep. Good luck!
@Xstatic3333 How long have you been off the pill? I never had CM while on it, so maybe its just taking a bit to come back. I can't remember how long it took me after going off, it was years ago. I remember reading in TCOYF that if the moisture evaporates then it isn't CM, but just normal vaginal secretions. That is helpful in determining if you are actually seeing CM. I know there are things that supposedly help with CM production such as increasing water intake, evening primrose oil, and mucinex. It is definitely possible to still track O just through temps, FF might only give dotted CH if there isn't any other info to confirm though. A temp shift is really what you are looking for, the rest is just secondary.

WAYDTGKTFU: Trying to remember to take my PNV's, I'm so bad about consistently taking pills. I was planning to start an 8 week exercise challenge today but I don't know if my cramps are gonna let me out from under this heating pad. Going to add EPO because my skin misses it and I had very little CM last cycle.
R/R/CS: nothing yet
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favourite breakfast food? I'm not sure there is a breakfast food that isn't my favorite.
R/R/CS: My temps are still so high this cycle and the only thing I can attribute it to is maybe the BCP that my RE has me taking for the polyp removal surgery this week. If that is not it then I have no idea what to make of this because they are consistently a full 1 degree higher than my normal cover line. It probably doesn't really matter since this month we are sort of out anyway but it just seems strange.

@MRSCORKER my cp changes pretty quickly after O. Within 12-24 hours it goes from super high soft and open to clamped back shut and firmer. Texture and opening seems to be a lot more indicative of O for me than height.
@MRSCORKER I have been meaning to try a menstrual cup for a while but I keep putting it off because you know, surely I won't need it for a while after this cycle...
R/R/CS: This is my sixth cycle using opks, for the first four I got three positive days, last cycle and this one I've just had one but I did change brands. I wonder if my body changed or this brand is just less sensitive and if it is better to have just one high LH day. I guess in the end it doesn't matter too much as long as week keep HIO, going to BD one more time and hope that covered the possible FW.
GTKY: (stolen from TWW) what's your favourite breakfast food? All the foods! Depending on my mood I love eggs Benedict but not very often, but I could eat hash browns every day. I would say bacon but I think bacon is an anytime food, not breakfast .
@MRSCORKER Re: your hesitancy on buying period products. I started using cloth pads the month after we started TTC and I kept thinking "should I really start using these if I might not need them for nine months?" but then I figured I could always use them for the point in my pregnancy when I will be peeing myself every time I sneeze lol. So you could do the same with the period underwear!

@FerdieFox I've been off since August. I think I'm in the minority that went back to normal, cycle wise, pretty quickly. The only thing that's really changed in that time is a slow lengthening of my LP.
@MrsDho11 I'm in the pool a fair bit for my diving job, so that's another possible factor I hadn't thought of. I never take Mucinex for colds, but it seems harmless to try if we come up empty handed after a few cycles.
Part of me wonders if I'm just missing it somehow with my internal sweeps or something.
@babymish aka cycle twin--I hope you get good news from your inquiry regarding the infertility acupuncturist!
@wifeinraleigh28 I hope you get more information from temping. Even if you aren't the best sleeper, hopefully you find out a little more about your O date this cycle. I have heard that some people have such a short surge that it is sometimes not detected by an OPK? Not sure if that's true but FX for your chart/temping!
@MRSCORKER I noticed a change last cycle within about 24 hours of O. I kept monitoring mine throughout the remainder of the cycle. FX that you O'ed and can head over to the TWW!
@sldp123 sorry you STILL do not have the results. That is so frustrating!
@Kate08Young I hope you get some sleep! What kind of puppy?? I can't wait to see pictures!
@megzb510 your picture is making my mouth water!! I want a chocolate donut so bad right now!
@Xstatic3333 My first two cycles charting (both after BC) I had a tone of CM, especially EWCM. Last cycle, I only had a little. I am going to drink more water this cycle and also try mucinex because I have issues with ear drainage anyway so that should help so I don't get another ear infection too. Someone on TB suggested EPO, so I might give it a try next cycle after talking with my doctor at my annual pap in February. I ordered some online (not expensive at all) and I will wait before I actually try them.
@dumbledoresarmy sorry about going back to work! I came back yesterday and it was rough! Today was much easier for me to get out of bed and get to work.
@jhems776 I usually get a smiley (I use the Clear Blue Digital OPK) for about 24 hours (once in the afternoon and once the next morning). That has been consistent for me for the past 2 cycles. I do think everyone is different and it could also be the sensitivity of the type of test you are using.

R/R/CS:
Rant: yesterday L decided that he and mommy needed an all nighter.

Yay body!

It probably doesn't really matter since this month we are sort of out anyway but it just seems strange.

@sarah0985 according to FF, Jet lag can impact BBT: https://www.fertilityfriend.com/Faqs/Factors-that-affect-temperatures-.html I would just make a note in your chart so you know if needed for future reference.
@MRSCORKER I noticed a change last cycle within about 24 hours of O. I kept monitoring mine throughout the remainder of the cycle. FX that you O'ed and can head over to the TWW!
@sldp123 sorry you STILL do not have the results. That is so frustrating!
@tippy05 FX that you O today!
@anj27 stay warm!!
@dumbledoresarmy sorry about going back to work! I came back yesterday and it was rough! Today was much easier for me to get out of bed and get to work.
@emelee2 yay for possible O!!!
@linnea625 thanks for the link! I will definitely look into these!
@ferdiefox sorry about CD 1!
@jhems776 I usually get a smiley (I use the Clear Blue Digital OPK) for about 24 hours (once in the afternoon and once the next morning). That has been consistent for me for the past 2 cycles. I do think everyone is different and it could also be the sensitivity of the type of test you are using.
@bcooke314 I hope you get some answers regarding your TSH levels!
