Twins first..now?

Hey everyone, was just wondering if anyone else is on their 2nd pregnancy with their first being a set of twins? My twins are 3 1/2 (b/b) and we are due at the end of August and they will have just turned 4. We haven't had a sono yet, scheduled for February 8 (11 wks) but honestly I'm showing SUPER early (6w1d) and nervous that we may have multiples again :/ Anyone else have an experience like this?

    This hasn't happened to me, I just have one son atm.... But I keep having dreams I'm pregnant with twins and everyone I know has just had or having twins... It's kinda scaring me!

    This hasn't happened to me, but try not to worry yet. The bloat is real.

    I have a friend of mine from HS that is due with her second set of twins.  But I think they did IF treatments so they knew it was a chance.  Another friend had twins first and is due with a single girl now.  

    Showing early isn't a great indicator of twins.

    This is my third baby. I've noticed with each one the bloat came on stronger and earlier each time. On the other hand, I know multiple women who have 2 sets of twins. Their lives are busy, but none of them would trade it. Good luck!

    Maybe you could speak with your doctor and request an earlier US? Getting the US earlier may give you peace of mind, and concern that there are multiple babies present is a totally valid reason for having an earlier US.

    I know it's little comfort, but google four babies easier than three. Apparently, parents of four children say that it's easier than having three children.

    My doctor did an early ultrasound (5weeks) just to make sure it was only one the 2nd time around. I think it was mostly for my peace of mind but was good to know. The doctor also said that the chance of having two sets of monozygotic/identical twins low, so I guess the odds depend on what type of twins you had the first time.
