Anyone feel like they are cold more now that they are pregnant? I always hear of people being hotter... and while I do get really hot occasionally, I feel like I am colder.
@pinklady2015 Yea, but I am also 31yrs old and have lived in the Northeast for all my life. This year is also an El Nino year which means its warmer than usual. I was already freezing when it hit 50degs and I usually go out in shorts, pretty sure I am colder than I normally am haha
In the beginning I was definitely much colder, I'm not sure if I've gotten used to that by now or if it has subsided by yes I was noticeably freezing when it was moderate temperatures...
@PinkLady2015 lolol I was thinking that!! "Yes, I'm colder, but it's also 2 degrees outside." (Okay, it's like 38...)
But to answer the original question: no, I feel about the same. I only got hot like one time, and that was a couple of days before my BFP when somebody had on a cologne that literally made me sick. In general, I'm always cold so I haven't noticed any changes.
I'm freezing all the time. Part of it is probably seasonal weather and humid, cold rain, but I think it must be partly a hormones thing because this isn't normal for me, and I am used to cold weather.
Freezing. All. The. Time. I can't ever get warm. It's cold here now so I'm sure it's partly that but I've always been able to at least get warm with blankets, but I have to have 5 blankets on me now. Ah well
I'm cold, especially at night. But I also haven't been able to keep down my thyroid medicine so I'm assuming those levels are at bit off right now which is leading to me feeling cold.
Oh good, I thought I was having other issues, thank you ladies for calming my crazy. I ordered flannel fox pj's yesterday, that come with free slippers, I've had about enough of this. Next step electric blanket.
Oh I'm soooo happy to see that I'm not the only one. I'm usually fairly hot natured, rarely ever cold, but here lately I just feel like I'm always freezing and I hate it.
Yes! My doctor told me it was just the hormones. I was glad she reassured me because I was beginning to feel like a freak walking around TX with a coat on.
Yes! I did this with DD too. I froze during my first trimester and then it was like constant hot flashes after that. We're on track for repeating at the moment......
I'm usually always cold, sweatshirt in the summer kind of weirdo. But I have been getting flashes of both extremes lately.

So it's still icky got and humid in central Florida especially to me, I just moved down six weeks ago from Chicago. When In somewhere without AC on I'm terribly hot and feel like I need to sit down. When In somewhere with AC on (and I swear they set it to stupid low like 70) I am cold and nearly shivering. Granted I've lived without even having central air at home for ten years (and it gets hotter in Chicago than this part of Florida during the summer) so I might just be overly sensitive to AC. I do feel like I an much more temp sensitive in both directions since I've been KU.

Last pregnancy I was nice and toasty even though we had multiple days of extreme cold. This time I started off with hot flashes (I actually thought I was going into premature menopause) and now I am cold all the time. Hormones suck.

Yes! I thought last year (I was due in December) I would be fat and warm in the winter....nope. Cold this year but it's early so I haven't gained weight yet.
I'm cold now but I'm usually always cold. I am NOT looking forward to being huge and pregnant during the summer. Thank goodness I'll have the baby in the beginning of summer. August is the hottest month here.
August is the hottest month here as well, last summer however was pretty mild in the Midwest. I'm happy that this little babe will be born toward the beginning of summer, while it's perfect out! I am not looking forward though to the rest of the winter... I'm typically cold in general, and winter always lasts until like March here!
I'm usually a "hot box", can't sleep with pants, socks or long sleeves. The past few weeks I just can't get warm enough. Wearing sweatpants, socks and sweatshirts to bed....and still cold. I'll take it! Perfect time of year to be snuggly!!!
I'm usually always hot, and I have been freezing lately! I teach third grade and all my students have been getting so mad at me wanting me to make the room cooler!
OMG I'm always so cold. I'm getting on DHs nerves cause I set the heater to 80. He turns it off and I turn it back on. I was completely opposite with DS. I live in Southern California, I shouldn't be this cold all the time.
My temperature is constantly changing! At night the covers are off, on, off, on... I have to wear layers because I will be freezing one second, and boiling hot the next! It's terribly annoying and I'm assuming it's just another fun pregnancy symptom!
