WAYDTGKTFU: Temping, PNVs

Rants/Raves/Chart Stalks: I dreamt my alarm went off last night and actually woke up and temped at 2:15 in the morning. Was so excited when I realized I still had time to sleep! Actual temp at 5:30 looked normal, thank goodness.

GTKY: We've been married for around two and a half years, and we're together for five before that. The time has flown!

R/R/CS: I can't believe I have to go back to work today after 10 days off. This is going to be ROUGH.

GTKY: How long have you known your SO? If you are married, how long have you been married? The 10 year anniversary of our first date is coming up in early Feb! Gonna have to make sure to celebrate that. We have been married just over 7 1/2 years. :)

WAYDTGKTFU: all the things. Working with an RE now.

R/R/CS: I'm upset that i'm back WTO. AF came yesterday so I called my RE office today to schedule day 3 blood work and an HSG. My labs are tomorrow and I'm waiting for a call back to schedule my HSG :( Freaking out a little about it...i'm worried what my HSG results will be. I have a feeling they won't be good...

GTKY: How long have you known your SO? If you are married, how long have you been married? I met DH in January 2007. I sat by him on the first day of Biology in college and we hit it off instantly. We started hanging out again at the end of 2012 since we were both single and started dating in January 2013. We were married in September 2014.

WAYDTGKTFU: checking cm/cp, bd EOD

R/R/CS: so I decided to not temp this month since I started out so rocky, and now I'm regretting it big time. Now I'm just guessing and it's much more stressful. I *think* O could be any day now. I "usually" ovulate between day 15-17 based on prior charts and cm/cp look good, but now I don't know if/when I should head over to TWW. I guess I'll just hang out here and keep HIO until cp drops and/or cm dries up. Ugh, if this cycle isn't good then it's back to temping for sure!

Good luck @severmilli12! I'm off to get blood work done this morning. Testing for clotting disorders and chromosomal abnormalities. I can't decide if I'm more scared for it to come back with a chromosomal problem or come back just fine (because then what? We're just THAT unlucky?)

Unfortunately, they accepted an offer from another buyer on the house. The other buyer made an offer above the asking price; I suppose they really liked that house too. Back to house hunting we go. Hopefully we will find the perfect fit soon.

• @sldp123 thanks! Good luck with yours!
@peggyolsonftw I know exactly what you mean. DH's tests came back perfect so if mine come back fine its like, "...okay, so why am I not getting pregnant?" At the same time I don't want bad results with my HSG. Its kind of my worst fear right now.

**Questions/Chart stalk please!**

Month/Cycle: 5/4 (1 NTNP, 2 TTCAL)

CD: 16

WAYDTGKTFU: Everything.

R/R/CS: I'm kinda confused/annoyed with my body and/or chart. Since I started monitoring my cycle, I've O'd consistently on CD 15. But, you're regular until you're not, right? (ugh) This cycle, everything looked to be on track for another CD 15 O. In fact, I had EWCM on CD 11 so I thought (read: hoped) I would O a day early. Yesterday I woke up to EWCM and a positive OPK, HIO even though DH wasn't feeling it and went to bed happy that we had good timing and could now chill out. Woke up this morning to basically no temp spike. I figure with everything we went through this weekend with our pup that it wouldn't be surprising if O was delayed a day, right? I had LOADS of watery CM this morning, and CP was high/soft (I still have no idea how to tell if it's open or not). All of the evidence is pointing to not having O'd yet so I decided to pee on more things. I used a regular FR OPK and a FR Digi OPK. SUPER dark positive on the reg OPK, and a BFN on the digi. Seriously?! It was super duper cold in the bedroom this morning so my initial thought (before checking CM/CP and POAS) was that I maybe did O but was just really cold. The negative digi supports this theory. My other thought is that I maybe peed on the digi wrong (is that possible?) or it was a dud and to trust the other positive OPK along with the fertile CM/CP and low temp. We HIO again this morning just to be safe but I seriously don't think I can convince him to keep BDing. He's way over it. Chart stalk away if you don't mind, ladies!

ETA: This morning during the BD, I had some pain on my right side in the general ovary area. Has anyone else ever had this? I feel like I've had it happen before sporadically and I'm wondering if maybe I'm ovulating from the right ovary. Obviously there is no way to know this without an US, just wondering if anyone has experienced it.

GTKY: How long have you known your SO? If you are married, how long have you been married?

• @babymish Sorry about CD1 :P

@severmilli12 GL at your appointment. Deep breaths. Remember whatever it is, it is what it is, and stressing about it won't change it. Finding out some answers is the first step though to taking some action that may! :)

@nys27 Congratulations on your 10 year date anniversary! I always like to make kind of a deal about it, but DH thinks it's silly. I think he wants to just be relieved there's one less date to remember...

Month/Cycle: 17th temping / 2nd ttc

CD: 17

WAYDTGKTFU: First time with Preseed this AM, PNVs, temping, charting on paper, Starting CM/CP, Maca/DHEA for him, as much BDing as possible...

R/R/CS: So much for BD-fest 2015/2016! I may have O'd but there's a couple things throwing me off. This is my first time really trying to pay attention to CM/CP. I felt it move up a few days after AF left, so, I'm thinking if we don't GKTFU this cycle, I may try to wait just a few days until I feel the CP move up and soften before worrying about BDED. This seems to be our pattern, kind of starting earlier than need be, getting three solid days in, and then petering off. This month at least we just took the one day off, got three in, but then there would be a two day gap if today is really day O.

Speaking of that two day gap. I don't even want to talk about it, but I'm not happy. Let's just say work stress got the better of DH. Saturday he worked a long day and he was really tired. Okay. Sunday he was moody and pissy most of the day. Blech. I'm just glad actually seeing my ticker when I came down early in the morning pushed me to get upstairs and bring him some coffee... So nevertheless, it is what it is. I'm just not sure if I really O'd because my temp only went up .4 degrees, and as I was looking at CM, I had a couple watery days, and then creamy-stretchy, but not true EWCM, so I wasn't sure if I was going to O crazy late for me, and then really, if I normally O between CD12 and CD15, CD17 isn't that late, so FX for rising temps. I don't use FF so I'm assuming the crosshairs and stuff is when it's looking at your temps and pretty confident that you did in fact, O?

GTKY: How long have you known your SO? If you are married, how long have you been married? We had our first date / first kiss five year Anniversary the week before Christmas, and we have been married 7 months now. :)

WAYDTGKTFU: Temping, PNV, Started EPO... once AF is gone I will definitely try harder to track CM this cycle.

R/R/CS: As much as it sucks to be back in WTO, I feel much less stressed here. I don't know if this is actually going to happen, but I'm going to try to stop temping after about 5DPO. My temps are consistent enough that I'll know if it's above or below the coverline if for some reason I need to temp. Last cycle I would wake myself up super early because I was anxious about temping, and then was unable to fall back to sleep thinking about what it might "mean." It was not helpful, and neither was testing early for that matter. So my goal is not to temp and not to test until AF is due. I've had a 12 day LP the last 2 cycles so I have no excuses.

Hugs to all you ladies who have also found yourself back here!

• @blonde1817 What you described with temping was me this morning. I went to bed at 10:30 and set my BBT alarm for 3. I was super excited that I was going to bed early enough to get a good stretch of sleep in before temping. DH fell asleep on the sofa and woke me up at 1 when he came to bed, then I woke up at 2 so I feel like my 3 am temp can't be trusted. I woke up again at 4:30 (and then couldn't go back to sleep) and temped again and it was way higher than my 3 am temp which is what I was hoping for but I feel like I can't trust that temp either. I logged the first temp which shows no spike even though I was expecting one after a suspected O yesterday. I seriously considered throwing the thermometer out the window this morning! I'm curious to see how you feel not temping as you get further into your cycle. I might consider it if I'm not KTFU soon.

• @MRSCORKER Okay, girl, I have wanted to make a GTKY post about when in the cycle everyone enjoys sex the most BECAUSE when I am near O, I also have pelvic pain with sex. Not severe, but what you're describing I think. It's on one or the other side, and it's a sharp "ouch" and then gone, and it's a little bit positional. I am dying to know if this is something that happens to other people, too. I wasn't sure if that's a way too TMI thing to ask.

Yes! It's not severe at all, just uncomfortable and is worse in certain positions than others. I also feel the ouch and then gone thing. It hurts with each thrust (sorry if TMI).

WAYDTGKTFU: Waiting on AF to finish her unwelcomed stay

R/R/CS: Yesterday was a hard day for me. Not only was it CD 1, but we skyped with my BIL, who lives in Japan, and just got to bring home their newborn from the hospital. It was an hour of watching the baby and them asking when we were going to have one of our own/ "don't you want one!". I am happy for them, but it took all I had not to run away crying.

GTKY: How long have you known your SO? If you are married, how long have you been married? We met while we were in high school and our first date was NYE 9 years ago! Whoa. We've been married about a year and a half.

@MRSCORKER This is exactly what happens to me. I have noticed that tilting away helps it go away. My current theory is the extra object in my pelvis - ahem - is putting pressure on the ovaries right around the time I am having an egg fixing to be released. I do also sometimes have ovulation pain just walking around in normal life, but I especially notice doing the deed.

ETA - it actually makes me a little anxious sometimes, like I think I may have endometriosis or PCOS brewing in there unknown.

The undiagnosed PCOS thing has crossed my mind too but I have very minimal cramping on the regular. I only ever really feel this specific pressure around O time and some mild general AF type cramps around O and before AF. If it means I'm about to O, then I'm totally fine with it! lol

@MRSCORKER
This happened to me this cycle. I'm being monitored so I know I was ovulating from the right ovary, and felt the very same thing. I also had a trigger shot, so I know it was O time. However, I had pain/twinge on my right side the month before, but that was a cyst...I know, not much help, but just know you're not the only one experiencing it!

Edit because apparently I don't know how to reply to a post :/

• @Ally989 that's so rude, I'm sorry you had to deal with that. Some people just have no common sense.

@MRSCORKER - I assume you're talking about CB digital OPK and not CB advanced digital? Because I'm pretty sure the advanced will always give you a negative the first day you take them since it's getting a baseline.

• @Ally989 I'm sorry you had a rough day. That would have been hard for me too!

**Question**... sorry for monopolizing this thread with my BSC!
I had some blood streaked CM just now (bright red, very minimal). I'm not sure if it's just an irritated cervix or if I should mark it as spotting on FF. I've never had ovulation spotting so I'm not sure what to look for as far as that. What do you guys think?

• @cwirth89 @MRSCORKER I am so glad we are having this discussion, I can't talk to my friends about this stuff! I don't really have symptoms of anything, besides a kinda heavy flow some months and killer menstrual cramps some months, but I know that happens to perfectly healthy women. And that pain is pretty exclusively around O, so that makes me feel better! And it makes it easier to tolerate while TTC ;D

Actually, it was the First Response digital that comes in a pack with like 8 regular OPKs. I remember the directions saying to use the regular ones first and then if you think you have a positive, to use the digital to verify.

WAYDTGKTFU: PNV, but waiting for AF to leave

R/R/CS: I felt AF coming the day before yesterday, but still sucked that it came. I fee like each month I get in a little bit deeper doing more stuff & reading more. Hopefully I'll be saturated soon and not be googling everything all the time...

GTKY: How long have you known your SO? If you are married, how long have you been married? We were friends for about a year before we got engaged, got married about 4 years ago.

WORF: I did not come here to admire the scenery.
DAX: If you say so. I guess we should just go home.
WORF: Well maybe. I would not be so hasty.
DAX: I take it the scenery has improved?
WORF: A few months ago, when I was commanding the Defiant on a scouting mission in the Gamma Quadrant, we encountered a protostar cluster, a swirling mass of colour set against a background of glowing clouds and burning sky. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, until now.
DAX: I've got to take you on vacation more often.
