R/R/CS: nothing today, just ready to get this cycle started. We were NTNP last cycle and now we are back to TTC
GTKY: now that the holidays are over, what's the next big thing (besides getting KU) that you're looking forward to? Everyone sounds like they have a bunch of fun things coming up. I don't have anything big planned but I am just excited for the new year. 2015 wasn't very good so I'm looking forward to a good 2016.
WAYDTGKFU: temping, pnv, checking cm and cp, hio eod to ed
R/R/CS: just ready to o! I had a cp last cycle so I'm a little nervous about if/when I will o, but my body seems to be following it's regular pattern so far.
GTKY: now that the holidays are over, what's the next big thing (besides getting KU) that you're looking forward to? Right now my BFF is in town and I'm loving seeing her! I'm flying out to the east coast this weekend to visit friends, and I'm really excited! I'm also really terrified because I'll have my toddler with me and it's his first flight and hotel stay. The following weekend I'm going to see a cover band Saturday and book club Sunday. All of that plus work plus general life should get me through the tww without too much insanity.
@ChelleCPA Wow! I sounds like you have a fun time in store for you at work! :D I'm not an accountant or anything, but it's one of my hats, probably the one I enjoy wearing least, unfortunately. But we have an old business we have wound down, so I will be SO HAPPY when we finally file the final return for that. Plus it's going to be crazy this year I know with the move and everything, so I have a lot of super-fun bookkeeping in store to get us all ship-shape. And then there's the new business we just started, so trying to keep things in order from the get-go with that, and still some other startup things that - once they're done, they're done, or you just have to renew and update things like that, but just so much extra paperwork in the beginning and it's hard when you haven't gotten into your groove or routine with it either. But we'll get there! <img title="Image: https://global.thebump.com/ticker?TT=ttc&TT1=ttc&CL=29&CT=D&CG=T&O=m_egg2&T=t_ttc12&D=2015-12-19&M1=13&D1=&T2=&T1=&T3=&CC=4&CO=FFFFFF&CO2=&W=C&TS=&R=&SC=green" src="https://global.thebump.com/ticker?TT=ttc&TT1=ttc&CL=29&CT=D&CG=T&O=m_egg2&T=t_ttc12&D=2015-12-19&M1=13&D1=&T2=&T1=&T3=&CC=4&CO=FFFFFF&CO2=&W=C&TS=&R=&SC=green" alt="">
@Ally989 Sorry about CD1 Ughh... but that is good news about a clear O. :) I try to focus each cycle on the bright side and something constructive that I can actually DO the next cycle coming up to stay positive. Working out and eating healthier sounds great! I'm sure you're not alone in that, now that the holidays are over. <img title="Image: https://images.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.riffsy.com%2Fimages%2F649eba7b2cce4a9f25ce73351f529899%2Fraw&f=1" src="https://images.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.riffsy.com%2Fimages%2F649eba7b2cce4a9f25ce73351f529899%2Fraw&f=1" alt="workout" height="335" width="479"><img title="Image: https://images.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.riffsy.com%2Fimages%2Fcc4cf0e8c219cf1c5c332f4cbff21cd5%2Fraw&f=1" src="https://images.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.riffsy.com%2Fimages%2Fcc4cf0e8c219cf1c5c332f4cbff21cd5%2Fraw&f=1" alt="gettin the daily workout in"><img title="Image: https://images.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.riffsy.com%2Fimages%2Fe5efefc45b056ada4d432d2349a85a9c%2Fraw&f=1" src="https://images.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.riffsy.com%2Fimages%2Fe5efefc45b056ada4d432d2349a85a9c%2Fraw&f=1" alt="arnold schwarzenegger" height="225" width="401"><img title="Image: https://images.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.riffsy.com%2Fimages%2F7e0a8e0208aa4fbe20420f9a03084765%2Fraw&f=1" src="https://images.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.riffsy.com%2Fimages%2F7e0a8e0208aa4fbe20420f9a03084765%2Fraw&f=1" alt="workout">
CD: 5 (I'm not including the first day of spotting though; so not sure if it should actually be 6)
WAYDTGKFU: Waiting for my period to end.
R/R/CS: I'm feeling calmer about waiting things out and taking my time with TTC. I'm not going to overanalyze a 9-day-tops/short luteal phase or rush to get the HCG shot to extend it. I think I can be patient enough to wait several more months before I get the shot if I have to get it. There is so much contradictory information on the internet about whether a short luteal phase is really a cause for concern and whether HCG is effective. To quote Gone with the Wind, "I'll think about it tomorrow." Sidebar: Yes, that movie is incredibly racially insensitive, but the quote works here.
GTKY: now that the holidays are over, what's the next big thing (besides getting KU) that you're looking forward to? We're going to Austin to visit my sister and our favorite couple friends are going too; so we'll have a nice friend/family vacay balance. Looking forward to trying Torchy's tacos!
**coming out of lurkerdom/coming back to tb after a break**
Month/Cycle: 6/5
CD: 2
WAYDTGKFU: Waiting for AF to leave. Temping, opks and probably sex eod during fertile window.
R/R/CS: I'm a teacher and was supposed to have a work day tomorrow, was looking forward to getting a bunch done and doing a good amount of planning with my team...and of course now it's a snow day. Least opportune snow day. Ever. Ttc related, I am looking forward to really getting back on the trying wagon (had a nice long anovulatory cycle).
GTKY: now that the holidays are over, what's the next big thing (besides getting KU) that you're looking forward to?
Our big Christmas gift this year is a spring break trip to Maui with the in-laws. Totally looking forward to that!
@BusinessWife it sounds like you're terribly busy as well! I've never started my own business but I work with a bunch of clients who have, and I know it's a ton of work! My hat's off to you. I'm much to risk averse for that adventure. Good luck with getting everything finished, and yay for a final return. They're the best!

GTKY: now that the holidays are over, what's the next big thing (besides getting KU) that you're looking forward to? Wow, good question, probably auditioning my students for our spring musical. Elementary musicals are a blast.
