I haven't allowed myself to dream about a diaper bag. I let DH choose the bag, since he offered to be the one to carry it all the time (how do you say no that?!)
@dancingsphinx22 I bought the diaper dude bag for my husband three years ago with our second. I ended up loving the bag too and still use it with our third and soon to be fourth. It's held up great and is comfortable to wear, fits everything I need. I recommend it for sure.
I have a Danzo bag and I love it. It has a bunch of pockets inside with little Velcro labels you can change based on contents. Sounds silly, but it was super useful in the early days so I wasn't scrounging around looking for ointment or my wallet or whatever. Also meant when I packed it up everything had a place so I wouldn't forget diapers or something. Of course now I just throw wipes, a sippy cup of water, a snack and a few diapers in my purse unless we'll be out all day. DH is fine carrying it too
I love that one! I would love that as my diaper bag. DH can have the other one. We're potentially (finally) getting a second car, so this one can just stay in my car.
I have a Kate spade diaper bag, it was very nice and held up really well, but idk if I will bother with using it again. I hate dragging a huge bag around, so I just pack essentials in my normal purse.
This x 100! It was too big and heavy and after a while I quit using it.
I think I have finally narrowed down my choices and will most likely be going for the Gweneth Sign diaper bag by Day B Ét M. It's a Danish designer so I honestly don't know if it's found anywhere else but it's perfect. It's a messenger style bag so DH can use it too, it's nylon, it's stylish and affordable. Woop woop!
@bunnywahl you will be thrilled with the lilly jade. I have the Caroline and I love it! I use it as a diaper bag and as a briefcase for work. I get tons of compliments on it
We have two diapers bags for two different purposes. One for everyday that I got from etsy and its cute and matches my mei tai and I love it.
And the other a Boken bag for traveling and DH. What I love about the Boken bag is you can use it as a messenger bag, tote, or backpack all in one. We had a Columbia backpack one and it was very limited.
Posted this in the last one, but I'm leaning towards the Storksak Bobby. I need to have a fully black diaper bag for work, plus it comes with a bottle bag, pacifier case and changing mat. I can also use it as a regular purse at the same time.
Am I a total weirdo for being completely in love with a diaper bag? I ended up getting the Day Gweneth Sign diaper bag and I recieved it today. I am so completely in love with it and I can't wait to use it. And I am definitely not a fancy bag kinda girl

It looks awesome!!! I also have a messenger bag kind of diaper bag and love it! I already hung it on my stroller hehehehe.
While all of these designer bags are seriously so beautiful and makes me drool! I can't afford them. But I did find two different bags at BRU that I registered for. I opted for a backpack version for the everyday, because in reality purses irritate the heck out of me. I just love looking at them. Plus, DH can carry the backpack when I don't feel like it Then I registered for a more "fancy" one when I want to dress up. I'm pretty pleased with the ratings each received and how they both look!
I'm in love with lily jade bags, but they're just so spendy. My mom thinks I should do it because I'm the type to carry a purse until it literally disintegrates, and in a full-leather version, I could carry a Lily Jade for years. Also, they offer "outlet" bags, or seconds, for a decent discount, so I would totally do that. OR! I could tell dh's step-dad that I'm looking for a steal on this bag. He's kind of the king of bargain shopping.

Anyone have experience with Timi and Leslie bags? I've been thinking about it. I love my lolly jade and clearly spent way to much to get one but with what will now be 2 little ones I need more space than my lilly jade has. I have the Caroline. I'm looking at the Rachel from Timi and Leslie. I have a 20% off coupon for bed bath and beyond as well as a $50 gift card from Christmas.
@mojomama6 I love those people. I'm just waiting for my dad to slow down in his retirement, because that's the kind of thing he loves. Now, he's too busy remodeling my brother's house, making furniture, and trying to get the world drunk on his homemade brandy and wine.
@AmadorRose I think I love your dad, haha. I need to make homemade brandy! My grandmother used to, but somehow, all of her boozy recipes have disappeared...
I would love to own the Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM Mon Monogram bag to use as my DS's diaper bag. Instead of getting my initials, I would chose DS's initials and the colors would most likely be bleu clair ("baby blue") and ivory with bleu clair interior. Here's a photo for reference below!
Neverfulls are indeed "never full." They hold everything but the kitchen sink. It's a tote style bag, so you can throw items in and go. For my totes, I like to add mini bags/pouches to organize everything so that the interior doesn't get messed up and so I don't lose anything in this ginormous bag.
If anyone owns this bag (even if its not used for a diaper bag), let me know about the wear & tear on the outside canvas.
DH probably will not be able to justify buying this for me, so I'll probably be using my old Neverfull MM as my LO's diaper bag. *womp, womp, wommmmmp* But, a girl can dream!
I would discourage you from this... I have a LV Neverful GM and it is just not a practical bag. It's a big black hole where everything goes in and you cannot find anything in there... For a diaper bag you want something with compartments/ divisions so you can find and access specific items quickly. Also, the straps on the Neverful are thin, so if the bag is heavy (and a diaper bag will be), it really digs into your shoulders.
My suggestion: Buy it if you want it for a regular bag, but I do not recommend it as a diaper bag.
Thanks for the suggestion. I forgot about the thin straps; I definitely don't want shoulder pain from carrying around too much stuff. Its just so cute though! I love your Gucci diaper bag. I can see my DH carrying it around also.
I bought an organizer off of etsy that is made for the neverful, and it is amazing at keeping things in their place. I can't remember the name of the store, but I
@mojomama6 his fist batch is 160 proof and smells like all-grain alcohol. DH had about one shot's worth mixed into four mixed drinks for Christmas and probably the only thing I'd use it for would be to thin paint. Dad thinks it's hilarious but toned the next batches way down. His wine, though, is phenomenal and I'm going to ask him to bring several bottles when they visit after baby is born, because I'm German and obviously will need to rebuild my tolerance

Yes, I have an organizer for my neverfull as well... It's the only way to use it.
I went swimming through options for diaper bag backpacks and was about to pull the trigger on a JuJuBe bag or a black Vera Bradley when I found this Knuddelstuff bag on Amazon for half the price. They're a UK brand founded by a mom & dad and this is basically their only product. I read some reviews and decided to try it so I could splurge on a Tula carrier instead. It came in the mail today and I'm quite happy with the size and construction, I think it's going to work perfectly for us. I also thought about the Skip Hop forma backpack but this seems much more durable in the long run. Yay!

But I want to say it was like 60 or 70 bucks and totally worth it!
As for the price, I'm not planning to use it for a diaper bag because it was quite an investment

Scored a black/white large duffle for 40 bucks..
I uh, needed a hospital bag. That's my story and I'm sticking to it
