FTM here and really wanting to do right by my baby and the environment. I've been thinking about cloth diapering, but it looks like that particular group on TB is basically all zombie now. I'm overwhelmed at the options and how to get started. My mom cloth diapered but used a diaper service - not an option in the rural area of America where I live. I'd like to register for cloth diapers if I can, to help cut some of the cost. Also, my SIL has 5 kids under 5 and the other has 2 under 6 - almost all of our baby gear is generously free/hand-me-down. I need to register for SOMETHING for my first-time grandparents to buy! Otherwise, I guarantee I'm going to have 3 Pack-N-Plays, 4 bassinets, 4 activity gyms, etc etc etc.

I stumbled across this lady's guide -
https://ultimateguidetoclothdiapers.com/Has anyone used it? I know its only $10 but every penny counts now, and if it's total garbage, I won't bother. There is something appealing about having all the information I need gathered in one place. I could print it out and put it in a binder for DH in the nursery! Any thoughts? The link is NOT spam or anything scary - just one lady's advertising for her pdf pamphlet. To purchase, you have to go through PayPal so it's not like you'll automatically purchase by clicking the link - I promise

Thanks all!

I think Im figuring it out with google, just feel like I get overwhelmed with the sheer volume of information. A blog or guide or something simple is what Im looking for. "Cloth diapers for dummies" - haha. Something husband safe, :-)
My current biggest question - I know I like the idea of the pocket diapers with the sizing snaps (6lb - 35 lb), but how in the world do you chose a brand?! Do they REALLY adjust to fit that big of a range or is there going to be leakage and chaffing galore?
@Sunshinebins - could you link those blogs? Thats EXACTLY the information Im looking for - how in the world to choose?! The washing part seems fairly straightforward, lol.
@countrygrl5533 - thanks!!
I personally like ordering from kelly's closet, and they offer a 30 day risk free diaper trial so you can test out different brands.
