WAYDTGKFU: pnv, temping, tracking cm and cp, hio eod to ed

R/R/CS: the next two weeks are full of busy and mostly fun stuff! I'm pretty excited for most of it, hopefully that will get me through half of the tww without too much insanity.

GTKY: What is your favorite food? Potatoes. All of the potatoes. Cheesy potatoes, mashed potatoes, fries, hash browns. Yummmmmmm. Now I'm hungry!

R/R/CS: Saw my first FB pregnancy announcement since TTC yesterday. It was completely unexpected because none of my friends are at points in their lives where they want kids so I thought I would be saved from all the announcements. But it was my best friend's sister. I'm happy for them, but I did get a twinge of jealousy.

GTKY: What is your favorite food?
Cheese :)
• Wait, this one was up first and already got responses, so you should keep this one up.
• Lol. Sorry. I can put it back. :p

Just one?

French fries!!! Worst possible thing ever, I know.
• @emelee2 - Busy is good! Busy will hopefully keep your mind from SS and going BSC during the TWW, haha!
@iceandsnowflakes29 - French fries with gravy on top, or with cheese? If you had to choose, I mean... *cough*ilovefrenchfries*cough*

WAYDTGKFU: BD, PNV, Temping, Paper charting, CM/CP

R/R/CS: DH was crabby this morning because we *started* to get to bed early... but then BD kept us up a bit later and he had to go to work... :P Temps are creeping up, but no spike, CM was stretchy to 1/2" this morning so I'm hoping we are very close to O!

True rant: So I have this 30 hour training course I was working on online, but you have to finish within 6 months, and we had the move and yadda yadda... well I was halfway through the material, but had used up 30 plus hours. I was trying to keep at it here and there but sure enough, the time lapsed and the course locked me out. Luckily they reset it for me at no charge!! But that means I have to sit through the entire first half just to get back to where I was in the content as quickly as possible so I can finish it and get my certification ASAP. Gahh!!

GTKY: What is your favorite food? I pretty much love all the foods, but I am definitely a salty/savory/spicy girl over too many sweets. It would be too hard to pick any one food - I love all things green, mushrooms, garlic, spicy, curry, - lemongrass, ginger and coriander are some of my favourite flavours, not to mention fresh cilantro and fresh basil! If I seriously had to pick any favourite food, I think it would legit be Thai. Anything Thai.

R/R/CS: Nothing too crazy. My sister was just here for the week and left today. My house is a mess because I completely neglect it when she's here. Its driving me crazy but I can't seem to pry myself away from the couch this am.

GTKY: What is your favorite food? I don't think I can pick just one type! Although I am definitely a red meat type gal. Meat and potatoes. mmmmm.

also, @BusinessWife that poutine is making me salivate. My husband is about to start a 3-6 month type online course to get a certification. I'm wondering if its similar to what you are doing? Can I ask where you are getting your certification from?
• @peachykeen17 It's for OSHA 30 through 360Training.com or something like that. We have a new construction business, so I wanted to get certified. What about you?

WAYDTGKFU: Avoiding getting KU for a few months while my ECT treatments are being spaced out more quickly. The anesthesia that they use is really bad for pregnancy, so my psychiatrists want to make sure I can handle longer periods without shock treatments. My newest doctor (who also specializes in perinatal psychiatry) put me on a prescription prenatal vitamin and an extra folic acid supplement, since my mood stabilizer depletes my body's folic acid.

R/R/CS: None atm. Picking back up with temping, so started that this morning. I wanted to be back in the habit of temping so I'll be good and ready to go once my psychiatrists give us the green light to start TTC again. DH and I are both antsy while waiting; we're so excited to start a family (and I think he's more excited about it than I am). Even though we're super eager, we're going into this as carefully/thoughtfully as possible, considering my illness.

GTKY: What is your favorite food? ugh...so many, but Mexican dishes are my all time favorite. We have a restaurant by us that makes my two favorite enchiladas -- avocado and spinach with a cheesy cream sauce. But I am also a big cookie monster.

• @CajunSnowWhite89 Thanks! I am really trying to power through! lol I don't know where you can put them that might help you remember, but I actually have my vitamins set aside for the whole week in these little rainbow stacking cups on my nightstand. I also have a spot by the coffeepot (where I pass by all day long) so I set my DHA there and the 2/3 vitamins in the morning so I know at lunch and dinner whether I need to take them or not. If they are sitting there staring me in the face then I need to take them! ;) But you might have a different place you can put them or way to work it into your routine that makes sense...

WAYDTGKFU: Charting to help my anxiety about it

R/R/CS: DH and I have been married for 2 months and he's in NTNP mode still, I was in lets do this mode on day 1. Some days I don't mind, but around O like yesterday and today, all I want to do is TTC. I'm so ready, and I feel like I can't share that with him because he's not wanting to "try" because he feel like it would take the fun out of sex. The bad thing is, last night I had fun and all but I was so distracted, because I feel that we aren't on the same page and it feels weird to be having unprotected sex if you're not sure what your partner is thinking? I know this was rambley, sorry.

GTKY: I love lots of foods. Home cooked Italian that's not smothered in cheese is high on the list. A good Cuban sandwich is just wonderful. Chicken wings + beer is perfect. I'm really into avacado lately.

Month/Cycle: 6/6

CD: 28

WAYDTGKFU: Most of the things (Temps, OPK, BD)

R/R/CS: So, so many rants, so please bear with me, ladies. WTF is my body doing? I thought I had O-ed CD 23 but I am only seeing a big temp spike as of today. I am sure it doesn't help that my waking time hasn't been consistent and AF has been completely out of whack (12-14 day AF for the last 3 months). I am seeing my OB/GYN this week to figure out what might be going on.

DH has been under a lot of stress in the last two weeks (holidays and he's taking multiple online courses to get his BA) so BDing has fallen by the wayside. I understand that he is working very hard to do well and get his BA so that he can get promoted and we've talked about my frustrations but (and this could potentially be PMS talking) I still just feel like the lack of BD is only hurting our chances.

And lastly, a high school classmate just posted on FB that she is KU with baby #3, 10 months after having baby #2.

Now that the ranting is over, as part of my New Year's resolution to rant less and rave more, I wanted to share that I spent all day yesterday with my mom painting three rooms in my new house. I'm really happy with the way it all turned out and it was sweet that my mom volunteered to help me.

GTKY: What is your favorite food? Nachos. There is nothing better than crisp, toasty warm tortilla chips covered in shredded chicken, jalapenos, corn, tomatoes, topped with melted Monterey jack cheese with a side of guac and sour cream. Well, I know what I'm having for dinner.
• @MRSCORKER ugh, so sorry for your loss. T&P for you and your DH.
• @khbear117 I'm sorry you're feeling this way. Maybe another reason that he is more in the NTNP camp is because it will be less of a let down to him if it doesn't happen right away. So in his head he can say "well we weren't REALLY trying" and not be so disappointed. He may also be scared that everything in your life will start to revolve about TTC (which admittedly happened to me, so it's a valid concern) and since you are newlyweds he just wants to enjoy this new time in your life for a little while. He may be thrilled with he idea of having a baby, but the process of actually TRYING for a baby is a little scary.
Anyways, The first step (which I'm sure you know) is to have this conversation with your H. But these are some things to think about.

@brambles1 Love the less rant/more rave resolution! I'm a couple days late and still making a list of my yearly goals, I think I'm going to use that one. :)
• @BusinessWife it is kind of a PITA but it's nice once it's done.
Project free tv is a website that I basically YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, and all the others combined. It hosts almost every tv show/movie for free. So when I started The Great British Baking Show last year I could binge all 5 seasons on PFT as it wasn't on Netflix.

How you hook it up is you get the Roku channel PlayCast. Then you purchase the software Playon(1 time purchase for life) on a PC. Then when you want use it you use the computer to put the show on the Roku.

Kind of sucks that it's a hassle, BUT I can now binge GOT or TBBT with out paying for each episode.

• @CajunSnowWhite89 I didn't think of that. He waited to propose until he was ready to have a family because those two things were connected for him, and he talks about how he wants to raise our children and even mentions names he likes. Since we have been married, I've had two complete cycles and he has straight out asked me if I'm pregnant (from silly things, like if I want extra vinegar sauce on my barbecue or if I say my bra is itching me), so he seems so into the idea of a baby. But he doesn't want to put the trying to conceive label on it, and for some reason that's making me uncomfortable with bringing it up. Maybe this is a me problem more than a him problem, now that I'm really thinking about it... Maybe I just need a label for some reason?
• @BusinessWife - FX for O day coming soon! And oh my gosh what is that Poutine thing? That looks delish. Cheese and gravy? Yum!
@allichelle - If you're TTA, you may want to check out the weekly Benched/TTA check-in threads. The next one will start up tomorrow. It's where I post my happenings, since I'm currently TTA as well.
@Mlight28 -FX everything's okay for you!
@itsmehere1212 - It's not a sign of getting old; just blame it on your bed. That's what I did, until hubby got us a new one, haha! Now I blame it on him.
@khbear117 - Have you mentioned that to him recently? If he's on board with having a kid, but doesn't see a use for temping or actively trying or anything; you can always track on your own and just not share with him unless he asks. My hubby never understood why I was temping and didn't know I was checking CM (he would've been grossed out, to be honest); so I just never pushed it at him. The temping never woke him up, so it didn't bother him in that aspect. It could also be that he doesn't want to feel like a failure if it doesn't happen right away, as PP said. Either way, it may be worth talking about it just to clear the air a bit more, if it's bothering you enough that it could start affecting your intimate moments.
@LINDSEYRVA - Beer is definitely a food. Just saying.
@MRSCORKER - So many hugs and thoughts sent your way right now!
@brambles1 - Good luck at your appointment! Sorry things are so hectic right now! Hopefully they start to calm down soon!

• @izza2 I've wondered if maybe I need to stop temping for a cycle or two. I started when we got married to try to ease my own anxiety about it. I started this already knowing a great deal about cycles (I'm a nurse, plus my parents had a difficult TTC journey and have been very open about it my whole life... I'm the one they had trouble conceiving, my little sis was a happy surprise a few years later). Maybe my parents experience is affecting me, and that's what I need to talk about.
