Found out a couple weeks ago that it's a girl! I'm a teacher so I've seen a lot of different names over the years, which makes it hard to find one I like. So suggestions are more then welcome here!!!
I'm also a teacher, & struggled to find names that I really liked without a negative (or otherwise) association. Amelia, Harper, & Olivia are our current favourites. We have our anatomy scan on Jan.29 so we'll discuss everything more seriously then!
We are struggling with girl names too. We had a boy name all picked out but couldn't figure out a girls name then found out sure enough it is a girl. Some of our names are Ava Kaylee Hayley Danielle
Right now we like Alyssa Marie the most. (Marie as a middle name)
My first daughter is Olive Rosemarie. I've got a million girl names on my list now if this one is a girl (team green this time around) but maybe they're weird, haha. Here they are though:
Astrid Margot Ariadne Elizabeth (I would shorten to Betty) Veronica (bit of a theme going...Reggie is also my #1 boy name choice :P) Astra Clementine Henrietta (Etta) Beatrice or Beatrix Zinnia Zoe Jane June (cheesy for a June baby?) Bedelia
Also throwing around the idea of Millicent for a middle name (it's my Mum's name)
We are stuck between Quinn and Molly too. Quinn must be more popular for a girl than I thought!
I'm obsessed with it @VikingGirl12! I wanted it for our son but my hubs won, I just can't think of a good family middle name:( plus quinnie is slang for vag in Britain, eeek!

I'm originally from England and have never heard that term! Haha My husband didn't want it for a boy either but then I watched Santa paws with the little girl named Quinn and texted DH and he loved it. We are also stuck on middle names too... My middle name is Elizabeth and want to pass it on but Quinn Elizabeth sounds funny for obvious reasons.

That's awesome news!! My hubs was using quinnie against me! Ha, yes 'queen' Elizabeth. My middle name is cara, I like it, hubs doesn't, grrr!
We had decided on Annalise Grace but SO just told me he doesn't want Grace because he doesn't want Grace Jones together. Lol...back to the drawing board again. Ugh!!!
Great names here! We started out with Luna Grace. Then went back to Leona, then I started to like Liana. Now we have settled on Ruby Grace if it's a girl. Grayson Lee for a little boy. Can't wait until Feb 4th to find out!
@Emztron500 I LOVE LOVE LOVE Astrid. My dh vetoed it but if he didn't have a say Astrid would be one of my top picks. Please use this name so I can live vicariously through you!
@WSU2015 Astrid's my top choice for now my Mum was giving me all kinds of hell about it over Christmas, but she hates DD's name too and it is frankly adorable so she can get over it :P I'll let you know if we go with it (if we have a girl)!
I saw someone posted Danielle as a option. Being a Danielle myself lol, I will say that it's a very nice name, but oddly enough SOOOO many people can't spell it. That's just something to think of. I've been called Daniel, Denile, Denise, Dominique or people try to spell it Danyell...and quite oddly Stephanie o_O....yes people are weird.
Other names that I think are nice are: Olivia, Ophelia, Gabriela, Christina, Aurora, Kaitlyn...and tons more...I love girl names haha
We just found out we're having a girl last week when we did genetic testing and we're going with Lilah Kathleen I love romantic feminine names like Juliet, Aurora and Rosalie. My husband's top choice if we had another daughter would be Freya!

What is the inspiration behind Freya?
I'm assuming this has to do with the Norse God Freya. But who knows

I mentioned Danielle being an option because it's my middle name and we were considering it also. I haven't ever heard it being miss spelled before but I rarely use my middle name lol.

If we have a boy we want to name him Odin. Which was a Norse god. My SO is Danish and so it is a nod to his roots and we felt it was a strong name. I know it doesn't help the Girl names, but I was excited to see another Norse name.
I've always had my daughters name picked out lol so I didn't really look into girl names but here are a few I've seen recently and liked: Presley Evangeline Ellie Destiny Olive Madison Lola Harlow

I loved Kate & Grace, but hubby vetoed both. We did agree on Rachel Elizabeth ♡ I love classic, strong names that age well so I'm really happy with our choice.
