Anyone experience this in their pregnancies (past or present)? I am freaking out a bit. The doctor retested me today and I wont get the test results back until later. He says it may be because of my PCOS or a high blood pressure issue.
This happened to me, please read about cholestasis of pregnancy, it is a rare but potentially very serious condition. Feel free to ask me more specific questions, good luck!

Everything I read on this shows that it happens later on, but it may be a mix of wishful thinking as well that its nothing major. Does it happen as early as 13 weeks?
I'm 16 weeks and My doctors office just called me to let me know mine came back slightly elevated and they want me to retest next week. I do have a history of hbp but take bp meds. I have been eating a lot of fast food and that can cause elevation. It's scary though because now they're recommending all these extra tests like an ekg.

Never though about fast food affecting it. I have been too since I havent had time to cook. Who knows. I wish you luck though when you retest that is was nothing!
Sorry I did not notice you were 13 weeks, in that case I really would not worry about that very much, as far as I know cholestasis happens later on in the pregnancy. Best of luck to you!
