R/R/CS: Today was much the same & I am seriously starting to distrust FRER's. I am getting stark white on wondfo's and another supermarket test. Yesterday was very difficult but today I feel better and have accepted that the FRER's may have just played with my emotions. At this stage the appearance of AF wouldn't shock me.

Previously I couldn't understand how some of you could wait out until AF before testing but I totally get that now. Should AF arrive this month I will not buying any tests unless AF is late, I am officially converted.

I did just mentioned this in W/W/W but I would like to mention it again - I got the most gorgeous Barbour jacket very heavily discounted & it is making me very happy

@babymish I can't deal with the new curved FRER. I can always see a faint line which I guess is an indentation but I don't need that kinda squinting in my life when I'm already crazy.

R/R/CS: I've only been temping since cd14 (Thanks @MrsDoh11) (and I skipped Christmas because I drank a bottle of wine) so while I can see I definitely ovulated, it could really be either cd 21or 22. I'm going with 21 when I factor in cm/cp, timing wasn't bad either way.

R/R/CS: I feel like this whole TWW I've had two constant tracks going in my brain: the super hopeful voice and the super hopeless voice. Every 5 seconds I think that I'm either definitely KU or or I'm definitely not KU, and I never will be. Both trains of thought are totally irrational. Yesterday I started feeling some PMS symptoms so I think AF should be here when she's due, 1st day of the new year (ugh). Temp is still about midway above the coverline but it's confusing because I keep waking up early so I have a lot of open circles. The anxiety of TTC is making me sleep deprived! I wish I hadn't tested today. If the FRER didn't pick up on the slightest squinter by now, it seems pretty bleak. But I just can't seem to give up on this cycle yet. Damn you chart and your fake implantation dip!!!

R/R/CS: I have NO clue what is going on. Usually I get a temp drop and AF shows. I had high temps yesterday and today and I also got up @ 6 AM to temp today to make sure that getting up later like I have been has been affecting my temps. So I don't think that was it because it was still high this AM. I have not had a longer LP than 13 days and here we are at 14. Most of them are in the 11-12 day range. FF has AF date for today. But now it just has the purple box around today meaning the current day in my cycle and hasn't given me another box for expected AF. Which I suppose it wouldn't if today should be the day. Just strange. Strange about the 14 DPO and still high temp. Maybe this month AF is going to change it up on me and my temps will stay high till a few days after she's been in town. I had gas last night which isn't completely out of the ordinary, but I usually only get gas when I eat stuff like beans or broccoli or things that give most people gas. And I didn't eat any of that stuff yesterday. WTH body, WTH???? And I caved and took a $1 store cheapie pregnancy test this AM and it was negative. Being that my LP is on the shorter side usually I am thinking its still too early to turn a test positive, especially if I implanted late. Again, WTH body?? I'm going to be out most of the day so I'll check in later but this business is for the birds.

R/R/CS: I had a really bad ttc day yesterday. On Saturday I found out that one of my two friends who knows we're TTC is pregnant. I think it was a surprise to her. I'm happy for her and her husband, but I'm also jealous and like "why her and not me?!" which makes me feel like a bitch. I'm just sad for me and DH. My stark white test yesterday didn't help either and I started cramping and feeling PMS-y yesterday...so meh

GTKY: Did you/will you go shopping in the sales? If so what bargains did you buy/hoping to buy? I've been shopping sales with my Christmas money. I bought a salt lamp last night that was on sale!!!! I don't know why I was so excited about it but I was. It's fantastic.

Timing: -1, O. So here's my question. Both those BDs were marked on those days because they were after midnight (like 1:30am and 12:30am), but I hadn't tried to go to sleep yet or anything. Is that how you all prefer to count it? (By 24 hr clock?). FF seemed to say either 24 hour clock or by whether or not you'd gone to sleep yet was fine, as long as you're consistent, so I'm just looking to mark this down in a way that will make sense to the most people here. Thanks. Also, it is 5:30am, so if that didn't make sense, flag me down and I'll try to clarify when I've been up for longer.

Testing Plans: I'm wanting to say 12DPO, but we'll see what happens when the crazies strike.

R/R/CS: woohoo CH! And they're even solid this month! I'm one of those weirdos who prefers TWW to WTO, so I'm just happy to be here.

I will not SS, I will not SS, I will not SS! (If I say it to myself enough now, maybe it'll come true!)

GTKY: Are we talking about Black Friday/Day After Christmas or just general sales? The former definitely not, and the latter sometimes. I really don't enjoy crowds, so I don't go if I feel like crowds will be insane. And with my current setup, I try to only shop on weekdays (or early AM) if I can.

Back in a couple hours or more to do my daily big response!

R/R/CS: Ugh. Traveling really screws with your temps. Trying to stay on schedule but not really able to, so my temps for the last 2 days are probably completely unreliable. This is the 3rd day that they are lower than the highest temp of the cycle (which was 8DPO) so I'm really starting to think I'm out.

GTKY: Did you/will you go shopping in the sales? If so what bargains did you buy/hoping to buy? You bet! So far I've gotten a few new tops and a cute dress. Let's see what today brings!

ETA: @MrsDho11 - Not sure about others, but I would probably count those BDs as part of the previous day if I hadn't gone to sleep yet.

Then today 11dpo bfn on a clearblue line test. Followed by a bfn (same pee) of a frer digi.

R/R/CS: see above. Pretty sure I'm out and all that was just f'ed up crap. F'ed up crap that my husband could see.

Yes. Most of our xmas was cash gifts. So all the shopping will be done.

@iceandsnowflakes29, that happened to me last cycle. I was super convinced it was a BFP. So much so that I brought the test to my RE appt that day to show her....like hey, look at my pee stick. She said she could see it too, but my test there was negative and so were all of the ones I took after. It's such a mind f*ck.

Hi, ladies! I have been lurking around and posting here and there since Christmas but haven't been doing my daily check ins and I miss you! So here I am.

Month/Cycle: 6/6

CD/DPO: 28/9 or 7 (FF and I disagree, ****feel free to chart stalk****)

Timing: None, so I guess it doesn't much matter but would like to know when to expect AF so I can plan for CD3 testing.

Testing Plans: none

R/R/CS: I've been off work since the 23rd and don't go back until January 4th. Just enjoying family time and relaxing and sleeping in.

As far as the CS, FF moved my CHs today after I temped for the first time in many days. (Originally CHs were on CD 19, now on 21) And I temped way late. And even before O my temps were questionable due to not sleeping well and waking early a lot of days.

GTKY: Did you/will you go shopping in the sales? If so what bargains did you buy/hoping to buy? I hit Bath and Body Works semi-annual sale the day after Christmas to stock up on body wash, hand soap, and wallflowers. I do this every year and stock up for pretty much the entire year.

@blonde1817 I count based on calendar month.

@MrsDho11 If I haven't gone to sleep yet, I count BD as that day even if it's after midnight. If for some reason we were up all night and it was like 4-5am I might consider that the next day, but if it's like 12:30-1am I think you're fine considering that still as the previous day.

Fx for everyone with confusing squinters. That is so frustrating! Hoping you all have answers soon!

@MrsDho11 If DH and I have sex after midnight and haven't been to sleep for the night, I consider it that same day. I only count it as the next day if we've already been asleep. For example, DH and I go to bed between 11:30 and midnight every night. Sometimes we lay in bed talking for 30-45 minutes then have sex and end up going to sleep at 1-1:30 am, but I still consider it that same day. DH and I have gone to bed and one of us has woken the other one up at 4 or 5 am for sex and in that situation I count it as that next day.

That was kind of confusing to write out...hopefully it makes since.

It's my birthday today!! So I'm taking the train to NYC with H and DS to see my best friend who lives there. I'm really excited

You just have to wait!" and I calm down for a little bit. I don't like not knowing things and not being in control...this TWW thing is hard. Rant rant rant.

@MrsDoh11 I keep fairly regular hours, but I count mine as from when I wake up to when I go to sleep. I think as long as you're consistent with how you record it you're fine. It's not as if when you ovulate on say CD14 you do so right at 12:00 AM right?

Testing Plans: I tested this morning because AF is due today, and I didn't want to get a bfn on NYE and have to go out and be happy for friends tomorrow night, so I tested this morning so I could drink a lot tomorrow to get it out of the way. I'm in shock. I got a light line on a Wondfo and a dollartree test.

R/R/CS: I seriously don't believe this. I've never seen a second line on a test before. The test lines were super light, but I can definitely see them without squinting. I have been waiting/hoping for a unicorn symptom to show up (like metallic mouth, crying over a beer commercial, hella sore boobs, weird cravings or food aversions - don't have any of that) and I don't really have any at all other than the few things I usually get for PMS, so I was definitely not expecting this. I'm still very skeptical. The lines were lighter than I thought they might be for 13dpo, so I'm going to keep testing daily to see if they get darker. I was convinced this cycle was a bust, and I don't really believe this is real right now. Is it okay if I come back here tomorrow?

I always wonder what people did differently (if anything) the month they get their positive, so I'm going to add this tidbit for posterity (please don't flame me - I never see anyone else do this, so not sure if it's okay). If this turns out to be a real BFP, I just want give credit to using EPO this month. Our timing was just as good in previous months, but I didn't really get ewcm before using the EPO.

ALSO, I just want to say how grateful I am for this board and everyone here! TB is the best place to help you stay grounded through this process. All of you ladies are the best.

@babymish I am so sorry you are going through this limbo. If I were you I would stop taking FRERs for right now. Those curved handles are the devil and unless it is a clear and definite line they play tricks on you. They do pick up low hcg, but it is very hard to decifer. Go to the Dollar Store and get tests. These have been the most trusted for me. I got a definite positive with those with two pregnancies before I did with Frer. The Dollar Store...the band with is much thicker and there is no illusion. I got clear positives at 8 and 9 dpo, but not on the free until the end of 10 dpo. Good luck.

@babymish I, too am a convert. I refuse to buy anything until I swear I am actually past my expected AF date. I get myself too wound up, testing constantly and googling implantation date and hcg doubling calculators using various dates and starting HCG levels haha yep, I'm batshit crazy, I sleep upside down

@housewifehobbyist and @iceandsnowflake29 the curved handles are the devil! I swear its because the strip is curved upwards, and ya know, gravity, plus the window is curved right where the test line should be. With all the negative comments I have seen, I'm honestly surprised they haven't just admitted defeat and pulled them.

R/R/CS: A friend and her husband who I work with are expecting. They're amazing and I love them but when she told me it was a "pleasant surprise" it was like taking a bullet. Now I feel guilty for feeling upset at all by happy news.

Also, I'm obsessing over every single temp. I dipped down today from 98.4 to 98.2, so of course I am convinced that is a bad sign and keep trying to talk myself down.

@blonde1817 I count the month I'm in starting from my very first cd1 on August 18, so Dec 17 was month 4 and Dec 18 was the start of month 5, if that makes sense

R/R/CS: Still kicking myself for not temping this cycle and questioning whether I actually ovulated when I think I did. Not feeling any signs of impending AF yet which is giving me a bit of anxiety. I just want to get this cycle over with and get on to the next one. I do think this is going to convince me to start temping vaginally next cycle though, even if we technically NTNP for a few months while I try to focus on weight loss. I think it will be harder for me to NTNP as opposed to actively TTC if I'm charting, but when it comes down to it I'd rather have the information.

I'm glad we happen to be here on vacation for this, to give his family support, but this is so sad. I'm trying to be super strong, but seeing his mom and aunts so sad makes we want to cry. Ugh.

R/R/CS: I really wish my body would get it together and let AF come! I'm getting so frustrated. The longest cycle I've had since getting off birth control was 38 days (first month off birth control) and now I'm at 47. I made an appointment for my yearly pap on cycle day 60 but I hope I start before then! I did go head and order 50 wondfos, and pressed! I'm ready for next cycle for sure!

GTKY: Did you/will you go shopping in the sales? If so what bargains did you buy/hoping to buy?

I plan on going Friday to Dillard's! Looking for shoes and business clothes.

@babymish I'm sorry about the wonky tests, I can't even imagine how maddening that must be. This whole process is such a mindfuck sometimes.

@Blonde1817 I do calendar month as well. We decided to start TTC at the end of Sept, so I considered Oct as month 1. I too flip flop between being convinced that I am totes KU, and not having a chance in the world of ever being KU. It's ridiculous and drives me crazy.

@MrsDho11 I agree with PP and would count it as previous day if you hadn't slept yet.

@ashbear720 Congratulations and FX for darker lines tomorrow! I had never heard of using EPO for improving CM, I used it after I went of bc for my skin though. I loved it but hadn't been able to find much about using it while TTC. Do you take it through the whole cycle?
