Congrats ladies!
(Almost) all of us are half way to the prize! The next 4-5 months will bring so many changes for all of us, and I'd just like to take a minute to celebrate one of those tiny milestones. (I also celebrate "Viability Day" at 24 weeks. I guess I just like to celebrate the small stuff!)
Question: Is this how you thought you would feel at this point? What did you think would be different?

I feel the same symptoms lurking that bothered me last time - swelling and indigestion. I'm excited for the new year because it's the year we will deliver!!!

I am lucky as so far I have had a good pregnancy .
I've had a few people tell me I am huge and that they can't imagine what I'd be like at full term. That has upset me but I try to ignore it. I've gained about 7kg. Maybe an extra one after chritstmas. I'm now 21 weeks

Physically, I am slowly adjusting to my pregnant body. I surprised myself with how early I started showing and growing because everything I read indicated otherwise since I'm tall with a long torso. Just goes to show everyone is different! My ankles have started to swell a bit but it's not uncomfortable. Bending down is an effort and I get out of breath from the slightest amount of "exertion." Feeling my baby girl moving around is the most incredible thing I've experienced though and it makes all the discomfort worthwhile.
Hard to believe it is almost 2016!!!
Feeling good, much better than I thought. Glad energy is back this trimester, but starting to have trouble with the sleeping and getting a little more winded during workouts. Not going to lie, I struggle with watching the scale go up (especially after the holidays). I know it is for the baby, but it is such a mindset that I'm needing to work through.
20 week appointment/ultrasound next week. I always get a bit scared before an appointment, like I'm going t hear horrible news. Especially since I don't really 'feel' pregnant (due to not feeling baby yet). But we are so excited to learn the sex and see baby again on ultrasound!
The first 20 weeks flew by and now I 'm a little nervous to get everything I want done in the next 20! I don't feel terrible, but don't feel great. It's hard to sleep and I have some back pain since I started showing and gaining weight. I'm very excited to meet our little guy but stressed about unpaid maternity leave and our finances come May.
I haven't had any solid cravings yet, wondering when those will kick in.
Also, @ncm0328 can I ask what illness you had? I'm only asking because I have a friend that had really severe crohn's and all of her symptoms completely disappeared while she was pregnant! She said pregnancy was the best she's ever felt.
I've been feeling overall better... but @yogahh I definitely still get fatigue (not every day) and I have been feeling shortness of breath as well. I try to breath through my nose but it hurts so much because it's super cold outside and my nose is way more sensitive.

That being said, my family cooks babies extra long, so I'm betting on June 3rd as actual delivery date (so @JennyS86 in my case, I feel like I'm even farther behind!). Sometimes I think about jumping over to the June board, but I've gone too far with you guys!
I already share my birthday with my niece and two friends. My sister is the 25th, my mom the 30th. I really, really don't want to go that late all for purely selfish reasons. I'm a "big deal about birthdays" person and do not want to share mine with my child.

I also could never have expected how truly magical things like feeling the first kick/hearing the HB for the first time are. I've never been an emotional person but I shed more than a few tears of joy when I heard that heartbeat and when we found out the sex (boy!). It's been a very special time and things are only going to get more exciting as our Due dates get closer! Congrats to everyone! Next stop viability!!!!!! Woohoo!
