  • Thank you @riveridgional and @AGriffin620. @amos1417 I'm so sorry to hear about that. I'll keep you in my prayers that everything will turn out for you and baby.

    *Loss mentioned*

me 30 (PCOS)  dh 30 (healthy, 2 children from previous relationship)
    TTC #1 since October 2015

    July 2015 - natural pregnancy; m/c @ 4 weeks
August 2015 - started 500 mg of metformin
September 2015 - increased metformin to 1000 mg; began seeing RE
October 2015 - 2.5 mg Letrozole; 2 follicle ultrasounds; trigger shot; positive OPK at CD 16
November 2015 - 2.5 mg Letrozole; positive OPK at CD 16
December 2015 - 2.5 mg Letrozole; positive OPK at CD 12; 200 mg Prometrium (progesterone) starting 3 DPO

  • So I heard back from my RE. She agrees with me that I should supplement progesterone and prescribed it for this cycle. I just wish they had listened to me when I voiced concerns about low progesterone two months ago when I started actively ttc and taking Letrozole, and I wish I would have pushed the issue harder ... If they had listened or I had been more insistent, perhaps we wouldn't have lost this one :'( Hopefully now that I have the progesterone this cycle will work and DH and I won't have to go through this again....

  • So sorry @amos1417 and @genipher1231. I'm glad to hear there's hopefully a better plan in place with your RE for next time. :'(
  • I've been MIA over the Christmas weekend but I wanted to say congratulations to all the BFPs and I'm so sorry for all those with a negative result. Both my husband and I were a little surprised at how disappointed we were this cycle; for some reason we had high hopes this month. It was so hard to see my husband sad, as he is usually the one cheering *me* up. (I tell him it's only natural to be sad and I hope he doesn't feel like he has to always put on a brave face!)

Anyway, we are taking a month or two off to get some other tests done, go on a trip, and just generally try to get in a better eating & exercising routine before going back to medication. I wish all of you the very best in the meantime!
