10 things you have to do before you go into labor

Feeling overwhelmed by the to-do list to tackle before baby is here? Don’t sweat it! We boiled it down to the essentials so that after labor, the only thing on your list will be spending time with baby!

Find a comfy seat, put your feet up, and check out the 10 must-dos before your LO’s big arrival! And don’t forget to relax, mom. Is there anything special you’re doing for yourself before you go into labor?

    Get all the damn paperwork for after the birth ready!!! When you're foreigners from two different countries and you're not married, everything is so much more complicated (at least here in Europe) so I'll feel much calmer when every document and every form that will be required is translated / copied / printed! ;-)

    Get a pedicure! I tried to do it myself this morning and was only able to do 9 toes... The struggle is real!

    Yeah. I have actually been the opposite of nesting. I do not want to do anything. I'm killing myself by sitting around counting the minutes. It's been awful. Nobody will hire me for any job cuz I'm about to pop so here I am sitting around doing nothing. I have done everything a head of time for the baby for when she got here I wouldn't be struggling to finish and now I am officially out of money and things to do.

    I'm 38 weeks along and his room isn't even done. Everything is just kind of piled up in there. So.. Getting that done before I go into labor is pretty crucial. I also want to get a pedicure, another prenatal massage, and go out to a nice dinner with SO since it'll probably be a while before we have alone time again after baby boy is here.

    i really need to stock my fridge. When I go into labor my mother is coming over to watch lo. Whats she gonna feed lo while dh and i are in hospital? Saltines?!

    Complete chores to do list, finish hospital packing, go on my last date without my daughter (and without a sitter), get all my insurance papers together, a full body massage would be nice... Thats my 5.

    I am 37w today and I honestly have to say I'm ready!
    Nursery is finished, house is extremely clean, fridge and freezer are stocked, bags are packed, carseat is in. I have gotten my hair cut and colored, gotten a massage, pedicure and a manicure. Now I'm bored and counting the minutes. There is such a thing as overly prepared and that is me.

    Everything!! This is our first child and unplanned so it's taking us a lot to get mentally prepared which, unfortunately, is putting off all the material preparations! We know we will love her when she gets here but it's been difficult trying to get into baby mode. Husband and I have always been procrastinators, so now that we are so close we are kicking our butts to get everything together. Family threw a baby shower this weekend and we feel a lot better now having the things we need. Problem is, we are also closing on a house in a few weeks and it's hard to decide what to set up now when we will be moving it all soon!

    I am the same! This is our first so I went a little crazy. Except for the Carseat because husband doesn't seem to get that we can't just toss the Carseat in and buckle it before we go to the hospital. It's called installing for a reason lol and it has to be safe for baby lol!

    My due date is tomorrow and I just finished cleaning. Still procrastinating about the hospital bag lol. It's mostly done just need a few more clothes but unsure what I want to take. I'm afraid of over packing.
