I figured this one would give us all a laugh.
What is the best and worst Christmas (or Hannukah or other holiday) gift you've ever received?
Mine isn't a gift, it's a Christmas card. We got a picture card this year from a distant relative and everyone in the pictures on the card has been dead for over 3 years. Wicked creepy. I could understand if someone just passed this year, but to send out a Christmas card full of dead relatives? Freaked me out.
Re: GTKY - Best/worst holiday gifts
Also, this sounds like fun I just don't normally so gifts and if I do it's things I needed.
Edit : because mobile sucks
Best: gift cards and cash because I can go to the store and pick out stuff I want that innever buy myself
has made all of our years of preparation so completely worth it.
Worst was a razor the Christmas I turned 13 and my mom telling me it was time to do something about those manly hairy legs

Mil also got me my favorite gift though ... 10 classes at a nearby yoga studio thAt I always think is too expensive to pay for myself
Worse- my grandma is the greatest person. I talk to her on the phone all the time, but she has a habit of buying really useless things for the kids. She always buys these giant stuffed bears that my kids just don't care about. They take up so much space that we don't have and the kids just don't like them. This year she also got my 4 year old a toy that is meant for babies... my 1 1/2 year old got the same toy from his Nana. Hello returns line.
This year I got the best gift ever! My SO got down on one knee and proposed with a beautiful century old antique diamond and sapphire ring. Best of all was that he asked my mom and son for permission.
