We are currently using Pamper Swaddlers, just switched over to size ones, and they are my favorite. I do have a huge box of bru diapers that I got on sale when I was pregnant, I actually got two boxes of them and we went through the one already, but they aren't my favorite at all.

We have used Luvs, Huggies, Pampers swaddlers, and Honest.
The Huggies were size 1 and she would blow out & leak everywhere. So we had to go back to newborn. She's probably around 9.5lbs and still in newborn because she has small thighs.
The Luvs and honest were ok. We had more leaks in those than the Pampers. Pampers are definitely our preferred brand. The Luvs I hated the monkey print on the outside (stupid I know but it's so ugly!!).
We will move to our Bumgenius 4.0 as soon as she fits in the 1s and slows down on the pooping.
@Ceridwen21 have her thighs chunked up much? We've been in size 1 diapers for about 2 weeks and Zeke's legs still aren't chunky enough for the cloth (bumgenius free time)... We keep trying but so far his chicken legs are besting the cloth diapers.

I don't think they have. It's only been a week since we tried the size 1s, which are so loose around her thighs but fit everywhere else, and we are still using the newborns. I am almost out of the newborn pack I bought, so if I don't get to the store today, I'm going to have to try the size 1s again. I'll let you know if they are any better but I highly doubt it! She probably needs another week or so; maybe when she hits the 10lb mark.

I'm doing pocket diapers and have several different brands; she has skinny little legs and the diapers all snap small enough to fit. the only time we really have leaks is when she rolls on her side when sleeping, i'm hoping once her legs fatten up this won't happen

We have bumgenius all in ones. Which are apparently notorious for not being good for chicken legs. (Didn't know that when we bought them). We probably could have been fine last week with only an occasional leak down the legs but I'm glad we waited till this week so I don't have to worry about it.
We tried pampers swaddle for my guy but they leaked and the leg holes were too small. The hospital sent us a box of huggies so we tried them and they work great! No more leaks!
Has anyone used Members Mark diapers from Sam's Club? They seem to be a great price and we are on a pretty tight budget but if they aren't good diapers then it isn't worth it so just hoping someone on here has used them and can give me some insight, thanks everyone!
I actually really like Luvs... DD had a massive poo today that I can almost guarantee would've been a blowout or at least a leak somewhere and it was contained. I still prefer pampers swaddlers but we were given a massive Sam's Club box with 250ish luvs, so it's good to know they'll get used.
Huggies are leaking on us too! So annoying because we received a ton of them at our diaper shower that were already opened (bulk purchase from Sams I think). So were going back to Pampers! - would highly recommend swaddlers as well
We used Pampers Swaddlers from the hospital. Then had some Seventh Generation and now we are using Honest. These are all Newborn size. We like the Honest the best. LO got a diaper rash with the Seventh Generation and they stuck to his "stuff." We learned that Aquaphor is great for diaper rash though. With the Honest diapers I don't even need to use diaper cream. But now we are moving to size 1 and a bunch of diapers I received in a diaper cake. Not sure if they are Huggies or Luvs but I'm hoping we don't have blowouts or diaper rash.
We received a bunch of honest diapers as gifts and they have leaked about 80% of the time for me (I have tried newborn and size 1s!)- we also had pampers from the hospital that worked great, so we have stuck to those. Plus I love the blue line indicator.
@blesofsky the Huggies I got had Winnie The Pooh on them. Luvs are purple and have a monkey that mocks you at night when your trying to change a squirmy baby lol.

My DD is 6.5wks and still wears newborn because the Huggies size 1s are too loose around her thighs and she leaks (we have only tried Huggies size 1s because we have a huge box we received as a gift). So we use newborns and they still fit her fine even though she's got to be around 10lbs right now. She has a big belly and little waist/legs. Just wondering if this is normal because of course I have FTM worries.

FTM also and our LO is still in NB sizes (diapers and some clothes). He is 7 weeks old, he's long but skinny so the size ones were a bit too big...right now we are in huggies, I'm not a huge fan but they haven't leaked and they were inexpensive at Sam's Club, we were going to try the Sam's brand but they only had size 1-2 which said it was for 12 to 18lbs which would have been massive on him...I'm waiting for the day when his little legs chunk out so we can use our cloth diapers!
@Ceridwen77 my LO will be 8 weeks tomorrow and is still in Huggies NB. She was born really tiny though just 5 lbs 13 oz and at her last wellness check about 2 weeks ago she weighed 7 lbs 3 oz. She has such little chicken legs that she often leaks out at the thighs.
Edited to say maybe Huggies just have bigger thigh openings? IDK if that even makes sense. Mommy brain is way worse than pregnancy brain.

He is 6 weeks wearing 3-6month sleepers now and the huggies are still a touch loose around the legs(he is around 10 to 10.5 pounds, but very long). We went back to pampers because they fit better, and thr huggies gave him a rash.

Thanks for this info! It never occurred to me this could be the reason but it makes a lot of sense. I'm hoping this week her thighs will fit into the 1s - I'm ready to move out of the newborns!

LO will be 5 weeks on Monday and is still in N. We use the pampers swaddlers. They seem to be getting snug on her but the size 1 are much too big.
This Guy and his thunder thighs just got moved up to pampers swaddlers #2 at 12.5lbs. If he wasn't breastfed I would think he's being overfed. Good stuff.
ETA: Before anyone goes all crazy on me, he is on the floor at my office while I was on a conference call. Not in the car!
That awkward moment when you put your kid in a disposable diaper just once since you forgot to pack a cloth diaper and your kid has a poopsplosion that goes all up the back.
....of course then he had another poopsplosion out the leg of his cloth diaper since daddy didn't get the diaper tight enough but that was nowhere near as bad
