We had a scan and looking to be a boy too! Yay! We will have confirmation next scan at 20wks. First time Mum here ♡
The difference in children, girls and boys, can be how you raise them. I am speaking from being an early years teacher. I am middle child with two brothers and growing up,may as well have been a boy..lol! I was loud, high energy and never stopped after age of 4. My friend, had 1 older boy and 1 girl, the girl is a little nightmare lol!!
Boys clothes etc can be boring but try and be creative, once you have him in your arms, you'll be in love and nothing else will matter at all. XxX
I'm starting to laugh my ass off at this thread. It started weird, got weirder and then got better because OP clarified and I think she did a fantastic job of helping us understand her POV a little more. NOW...pages of comments later...we have people coming out of the woodwork to bash the whole board. OP did ask specific questions that would warrant people's opinions. I'm over it now and wish I could hide this thread from my feed.
I think this was a good discussion to have and it actually provided some entertainment to a sometimes boring board but I think we've said it all. Now I'm going back to my Cheesecake Factory salted caramel cheesecake with extra whip.

I didn't read your first post as whiny at all. And your second post speaks volumes about your character under fire and what an great parent you will be. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and I hope you get lots of ideas from the sites others posted.
Little girls don't always accept frills and pink. I didn't. I hated it. My mom was so thrilled to have a baby girl to play dress up with - unfortunately for her I was not thrilled even from a very young age and made it known.
