Pregnancy in the third trimester is... Feeling like your pelvis/spine is going to break in half, getting used to sleep insomnia, feeling uncomfortable just sitting down and getting used to being kicked in the ribcage/lungs all the time. Lastly, wondering if I bend over one more time if the baby will come right on out. All the while still figuring out a way to feel entirely blessed and excited that my firstborn will be here soon and I'll be able to bend over normal again.
Pregnancy in the third trimester is having sharp shooting pains in my crotch every once in a while being kicked in the ribs. Also having swollen hands and feet and not being able to bend over that well to pick up things. Pregnancy in the third trimester is trying to hold it together at work and not punching the fat old man in the face that I work with for his rudeness!
Pregnancy in the third trimester is having to take off your bra just to fit your supper into the two inches of space the baby has left for your stomach
Pregnancy in the third trimester is Realizing driving may soon be over for you as you honk your horn with your belly just trying to fit in the drivers seat ..
Pregnancy in the third trimester is having to super carefully choose your parking spot so you can get in and out of your car! Someone parked too close to me at work the other day and I almost couldn't get in. Now I hunt for the safe spots where nobody can park next to me.
..is having to repeat to myself over and over again 'i love my job, I love my job' so I don't just quit here and now.
I feel like I do this with the baby when I try sleeping and get heartburn and pee every 10 minutes. "I love this baby, I love this baby. Almost done.. It'll be okay" Good luck
Pregnancy in the 3rd trimester is taking your bra off in your office bathroom because magically, your rib cage grew 3 inches wider during the workday and now all your bras cut into your back and ribs. Pregnancy in the 3rd trimester is having the daily surprise about which part of your back is going to be in agonizing pain today. Lower back? Upper back? Middle? Roll the dice!
Pregnancy in the 3rd tri is being afraid to eat because you never know what's going to trigger the heartburn that hits you so hard you start vomiting.
Short answer? Everything. Ev.er.y.damn.thing.
This is exactly why I just eat whatever I want anyways. Do I regret it? Always. But you know what..? That chicken enchilada tastes a hell of a lot better than a plain kale salad. Worth it. If I'm going to get heartburn either way it better taste good
(Edit because apparently I was eating planes.. Not plain .)
Pregnancy in the third trimester is exhausting and emotional. I don't remember ever waking up and not being able to go back to sleep with my other kids. Oh and hello over active tears! No more dry eye apparently.... I cried when I realized I accidentally put the yogurt in the freezer instead of the fridge. Now when my kids want something the freezer is the first place they look.
Pregnancy in the 3rd trimester is... knowing that if I take a deep breath or a nap... there will be no relief! I'll still be out of breath and I'll still be exhausted!
Pregnancy in the 3rd trimester is... being bi-polar. I can't wait for her to be out so I can kiss on her and, selfishly, sleep on my stomach and back again. But also wanting her to stay in there so she can be as big and strong as I need her to be!
BTW... I have loved reading these! I was laying in bed and woke my husband up, I was laughing so hard! Thanks ladies! I needed that!

Seriously girl! I was just about to write something along these lines. I get to sleep in this week until 7:00 because I can work from home. WHAT A JOKE! I've been up since 5:00 haha. Poor DH I cry with the drop of a hat. He has no idea what to do half the time, so he's started to ignore it. I tell him if he pays too much attention it makes it worse lol.

I hear ya! My bra felt fine not that long ago and it's driving me absolutely nuts now! Taking it off is the first thing I do when I get home and it's the best feeling in the world lol! Might be time for a new bra but I don't want to deal with it.
Pregnancy in the third trimester is.. being so hungry all of the time but my stomach is smooshed... where again? And being absolutely ecstatic when (for the first time in weeks) I was able to shave my legs and they feel like dolphins.
Pregnancy in 3rd Trimester is... ...not being able to go without a bra because under-boob sweat is gross. ...hating all my bras for being so darn uncomfortable.
Waking up every 2-3 hours either having to pee or just because my back/hips are hurting.
Getting super sweaty at night, particularly the inner thighs and chestal region.
Finally starting to get the beginnings of that heartburn I've been hearing so much about . . . the chicken fajita quesadilla for lunch and balsamic beef pot roast for dinner were not so wise (but I regret nothing! NOTHING!!!)
