@Carlaisy I think everyone is different, but my ER was practically painless! They put me out via IV and about 30 mins after the procedure I was allowed to leave. I went home and took a nap and was fine the next day. I had slight cramps...almost bloated feeling. The worst part was def not being able to eat or drink ANYTHING until after the ER especially since mine was at 1pm
So I actually caved in today... I really wanted to test so my held my pee for about four hours and tested... I got a positive There is most definitely a second line, and pretty dark too, considering I am only 6dp5dt.
I am really happy it worked, now I just really really hope it stays sticky. I thought that with the miscarriage last time I would not be as excited but I actually am. But I still want to stay cautious.

Today is the day for our transfer. I feel like we've been waiting for this day FOREVER. Feeling very positive except for that I woke up with a sore throat...don't know what that's about.

Just leaving the doctor's office. One PERFECT embryo was transferred. We have one definite that will be frozen and maybe one more. She will let us know tomorrow.
@Smallinetta Wow! Perfect embryo. Glad all went well. I hope you have a relaxing TWW. Hopefully it'll go by faster for you with the holidays to keep you busy. I'll be waiting for some good news!

Thank you @wenikilina! I cannot believe my first beta test is almost here! These last few days seem to have crawled by. I will keep you ladies posted as soon as I receive the call. I should already know by this time tomorrow!
Congrats to all the women with BFP's!!!! Couldn't be happier for you!
Monday is the BIG day for us. Find out if we got our BFP. This round is weird because I'm having no cramping or anything. Not sure how to read this. Tomorrow will be a week from our ET, so it's still pretty early. Not getting too excited because I don't have high hopes. If it happens it will be the best news ever, if not I'll have my pity party and move on. I just want to have a family with my husband, so if that means donor eggs then that's what we do. (Sorry for my rant)
so so happy for all the great news. Big hugs to anyone needing one. Baby dust to anyone waiting for results.
Hi everyone! I'm not in cycle, but couldn't help but read through the thread. The community really helped me when I went through IVF. Congrats to those with positives, and best of luck to those who need to try again. I was fortunate to be successful on IVF round #1 (1 baby out of 2 embryos transferred). She is now a 9 month old full of personality! If any of you are on extra progesterone, I wanted to let you know that you'll likely go through an emotional point when you get to come off. I was so nervous I would miscarry. Even though I counted down the days to stop all the extra progesterone, I completely freaked out the day I was scheduled to stop. It was fine, but a very anxious time (I e-mailed my RE nurse for reassurance). Short version: keep on the board. You'll appreciate having others going through the same things / feelings as you. Best wishes!!
Thanks for the heads up @stranzm. My doctor was surprised that I didn't have much to complain about besides a few sleepless nights with the progesterone.
As for this board, I agree -- it is has been a lifesaver. My husband and I have only told our mothers about our trials and tribulations with TTC so having other people to talk to about the whole process has been a great help for me.
So I just found out today that we are freezing our embryos this cycle and doing FET next month. My follicles are just about ready to be retrieved (hopefully not on Christmas ). I'm bummed that we can't do a transfer this cycle. Ok, more than bummed.
Sorry you are bummed about your news @kennelchick. Success rates with FET are really good! In fact, there are benefits to let your body recover from the stress of fertility drugs.
I received the phone call with the results from my first beta test. 222! They did not give me range of what is normal, but I know that has to be good for a single embryo transfer!
Congrats to all the ladies with BFP for Christmas.
BIG BIG Hugs to the ladies who didn't get good news.
TTC for Baby #1 for 3 years. After 2 failed IUI's & IVFs, God blessed us with our miracle . FET 12/17/15 (transferred 2 embryos at 5days). First Beta 12/29/15 = 354. Second Beta 12/31/15 = 694. Third Beta 1/7/16 = 6,695. Finally heard his heartbeat (126) on 1/14/16 @ our 1st US. 2nd US on 1/21/16, HR was 159. The most beautiful sound ever
I'm feeling decent @Smallinetta. As long as I eat right away when I wake up and then frequently throughout the day, I'm good. I'm starving, have a little heartburn, and my face is breaking out. All minor stuff! Thanks for asking!

@kennelchick I know how you feel. There are actually quite a few of us who had to do a freeze of our embryos instead of a fresh transfer. I have struggled some days with waiting my turn for a transfer, but I also remember it was done for good reason.. by waiting, we can better prepare our bodies and the embryos for a healthy transfer and implantation. I'm happy for everyone who was able to have a fresh transfer and get pregnant, but we are all not the same. The path of infertility and pregnancy is not a cookie cutter perfect path.
Thinking of you during this time. We are lucky to have embryos that could make it to freeze...we have to find things that make us thankful. It helps me.
