My son and the snow. Last night taking out the garbage I slipped on the snow and pulled something in my groin, which in addition to my spd is a little much altogether.
Right now my son is playing with his raisins instead of eating them. He started this tiny box of raisins yesterday and I've informed him that he is not getting down from the table until he finishes them. So he has a mouthful of raisin and is blathering about rocket ships and not actually eating them. I think it's going to be a long day.
My new house is a TW. Every time fix something, we discover halfway through that the reason the thing broke in the first place is because the previous owners rigged something completely janky instead of doing it right.
Bright side? My washing machine (which we've spent a month without) is finally working.
Downside? Apparently the tub that the washer drains into has a leak in the pipe. God help me. I think we've spent close to $1000 at the hardware store this month. That basically used up all of our new house fix-up funds we saved from living with MIL for a month. And we still have a bright magenta master bed.
My insurance company is a major TW. A little back story: I've got a rare form of scoliosis and have been seing a specialist for spinal manipulations for years. He recently asked me why I wasn't being reimbursed since he is out of network, so I've been looking into it. Turns out, I'm supposed to receive over $100 per visit in reimbursement! Now, I'm only going after the insurance company for the last 9 months since I've been on this insurance plan. They received the claims for the first 2, and the last 2... but not the appointments in between. My doctor's office has sent the claims electronically (about 8 times) as well as faxed them 3 times now. But the insurance company "hasn't received any of them." I'd like my $1000. Any time now, would be nice...
Oh, and I found an Etsy shop that is taking pre-orders for a "swearing" coloring book. This is one of the pages. I want this book so bad to color while I'm at the hospital, but it won't be available until February. Lame...
My bladder is a TW (well... it's actually probably more like my baby but I can't call him that). I'm 39+2 and no sign of labour at all. The baby is pressing against my bladder so hard that when I stand I immediately feel like I have to pee... only when I stand though. It's starting to get ridiculous!
My husband and his family are all being TWs. He has taken offence to everything my family does..he hates that I am close to my mother when his is so distant....
My doctor's office. They make it so hard to schedule appts and I have to be seen every week because of my high blood pressure at my last two so when today was the only day this week they were open I had no choice in my appt. Except my husband had to work today so I had to take him to work at 4 am so I could have the car and I have to go pick him back up at 6pm. Worst part, this isn't the first time the office has basically said 'come in this day or wait 3 weeks'. At one point when I was switching from every 2 weeks to every week, there was actually a month between my appts. I'm so done with living at the doctors office.
My dog is a TW...again. Anything that makes any squeaky sound MUST be killed. So naturally, when I accidently made a squeaky noise by dragging my finger across glass, all hell broke loose in my living room. That damn dog ran back and forth over anyone and anything trying to find the source of the noise. The cats were trampled, toys broken, wrapping paper torn. Stupid dog.
My cats, the boy in particular. The girl keeps scooting her nasty butt in the laundry room and leaving a poop trail, which is just disgusting. The boy has been scratching the stairs, jumping in the shower, washing machine, and bath tub every time I turn on the water because he's a water whore, jumping on the counter tops when he knows better, dragging dish towels all over the house, and just being a dick in general.
My cats too! One of them has terrible aim and constantly misses the litter box, so the pee pools underneath. I haven't brought myself to clear up the mess from this morning yet. They also both start begging for their canned food hours before it's time, which involves them poking me (with claws) and climbing on my head. It's actually kinda cute but I'm too grumpy right now. I'll get my own back next week though, they have a vet appointment, muahaha!
Everything is a TW. I am non-discriminate when it comes to declaring things and people TW's. I just want another damn nap! Everyone is blowing up my phone and won't let me sleep! I get a nap or everyone is going down!
When your kids start throwing mulch at the playground it's time to put the iPhone down and actually discipline them. Yeah your kids know me. I teach at their school and they're pains there too. Why? Because you obviously have no control over them and you don't get to give me the stink eye when I have to walk through them to get my kid away from them.
I'm not sure who is a TW is this situation. Maybe dd's brain?
My 7yr old dd had a sleep study last night. She passed the night portion perfectly (10 hours of perfect sleep) but the nap/daytime portion failed. They made her take a 30min nap every 2 hours, and she actually napped each time and went into REM sleep in less than 3min each time. That's not how it was supposed to happen. So, her doctor isn't sure what's going on. Daytime test suggests narcolepsy, but she has NONE of the other signs or symptoms.
I just want to know what's wrong with my kid. It took 2yrs of pushing to get this far.
The twatwaffleness escalated when I got to work. I take care of kiddos and the main one I care for is on oxygen. This guy came in with a lit cigarette. He then left after dropping whatever off and was smoking outside. I could smell it from my patients room! I was livid! So I went outside and asked him if he came in there with a lit cigarette. He said no. I told him there is no smoking inside because oxygen is in use as well as for our asthmatics. He was trying to give me dirty looks so I alerted parents to what happened. He tried to tell one of the parents I was screaming at him and yelling and causing a scene. I'm 33 weeks pregnant and my job is to ensure the safety of my patients. I have zero tolerance over that. The next time it happens, I will be calling the police and the state and he can enjoy being arrested and going to jail. These are lives of children. I am not the nurse you want to piss of! Sorry, I needed to vent!
@PedsIsHardcore Good for you! Hell, I would have caused a scene! I get pissed when people smoke around me, or smoke then walk into MY house, to sit on MY furniture, and touch MY kids smelling like smoke... *cough cough* FIL. It's disgusting. Also, I'm severely allergic to cigarette smoke.
My baby keeps going from head down to transverse. I have been trying to do inversions to encourage her to stay head down but it gives me awful heartburn. Speaking of which, breathing seems to give me awful heartburn also. Oh and lightning crotch is wonderful the past couple days. Not to mention I swear my hair down there is not just unkempt but long and disgusting. Too bad I can barely reach around to wipe myself much less give myself a trim. My DH works at night and his best friend's bday is tomorrow and they are doing this fun party outing together. The downside is it works out better for my DH to go there after work in the AM, sleep there during the day then do party stuff before going to work tomorrow night. So I won't see DH til Thursday morning when he gets home from work. This isn't the worst thing in the world but I'm just being hormonal and clingy. Not to mention tired. I have a pile of presents that won't wrap themselves and dishes that won't magically wash themselves. Sorry for the venting! I just needed to let it out.

I'm thinking some of them have an allergy to it, but one child had been abused and has PTSD issues with it so it's a big deal. I have asthma, so I totally know how my kiddos feel, plus my main patient is terminally ill on machines. The smallest thing can cause them issues and I will hold that horrible man medically responsible for it. He knew better and there is zero tolerance for it. These are children that just want to feel better and have fun...they deserve to be able to feel as well as possible and enjoy time with their families since it's the holidays!
Sorry...emotional pregnant nurse here because I literally do no understand what is wrong with people and why they seem to think it's okay for children to put up with things only for adults.
