  • Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD/DPO: 28/8

    Timing: -4, -1, 0

Testing Plans: Christmas Eve and every day after ;)

R/R/CS: Question:  has anyone else noticed that symptoms seem more noticeable at night and in the morning?  I feel like every morning I wake up with sore boobs and every night I go to bed with cramps and nothing in between?  I know that hormones fluctuate throughout the day which is why af so often comes at night and pregnant ladies often go into labour in the middle of the night, but I don't know if those same hormones cause PMS symptoms to be worse at night too.  Doesn't matter, it's just something I've been curious about the last couple of days.

GTKY: NOT CHRISTMAS RELATED!!!  Tell us your favourite date night ideas (keep it clean!)  DH and I love just getting a nice coffee and wandering the streets to see what we see.  Now that the weather is getting cold we won't be able to do that much until, let's face it, probably next June (I live up North) so I need some ideas!!

    Month/Cycle: 13/14

    CD/DPO: 17/3

    Timing: -4, -3, -2, 0

Testing Plans: I plan on testing on NYE, for obvious reasons.

R/R/CS:  I got my CH today!! I was really hoping I O'd on CD13 like I normally do so I could hit both -1 and -2, but oh well.  One day off didn't effect my timing much.

GTKY: NOT CHRISTMAS RELATED!!!  Tell us your favourite date night ideas (keep it clean!) I love going to a small, dark pub with DH and drink, eat dessert, and talk for hours.  Its my favorite  <3

    CD/DPO: 21/8

    Timing: -5, -2, -1, 0

Testing Plans: NYE if no AF

R/R/CS: In one of my dreams last night I thought I was pregnant so I grabbed a test out of the bathroom and took a digital FRER smart watch test. Then I realized it was a gender test and not a pregnancy test just as my mom walked in the bathroom. So I told her to surprise us and I walked out. Then I found out at our gender reveal party that we were having a girl. But I remembered I never took an actual pregnancy test and EVERYONE KNOWS the FRER digital smart watch gender test is notorious for false positives and not recommended for pregnancy tests. So I took a dollar store test at the party and found out it was negative. I was upset when I woke up.

I may or may not have been looking at pregnancy announcement and gender reveal hashtags on Instagram before bed...

GTKY: We spend a lot of our date nights either at the movies or watching movies at home. During the day we like to explore cities and go on hikes but at night we're pretty boring. We like to be snuggled up inside.

  • Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 20/4

    Timing: -4,+1

Testing Plans: not really sure yet. I am going to pick up some tests today.

R/R/CS: so I think my thermometer is not working that great. It's been 97.3 and 97.4 the past few days. I am going to temp with my new one as well and the old one to figure out what's going on. I marked today's temp with the new one.

R/R/CS: ugh. My boss has been such a royal asshole for the last week. It make me dread going to work, which really sucks because I LOVE my job. I'm posting in here and WTO because FF gave me dotted CH, not sure I'm convinced yet and don't know where to post.

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 19/3

    Timing: -1

    Testing Plans: Waiting for AF

R/R/CS: This whole cycle has been awful, and I'm not convinced that I actually O'd. I never got a positive OPK, I had one that was close, but not quite as dark as the control. I barely had any fertile CM, which isn't usually the case. The tiny bits of EWCM that I did get had blood in it, which has never happened before that I can remember.  I also had a cyst rupture on Saturday  but I have no idea whether or not that can have any effect on temps or anything.

R/R/CS: Took a test this morning with a BFN. No current symptoms of AF but this doesn't look like our cycle so I hope she hurries up so we can start over

  • Month/Cycle: 4

    CD/DPO: 32/8 ( up for debate...)

    Timing:-1

Testing Plans: already started because I can. I'll just keep testing until bfp or AF.

R/R/CS: feeling crampy yesterday and today. Yesterday I thought maybe I was a little hung over from the weekend but now I am not so sure. Maybe I O'd earlier than FF predicted (my chart was wonky) and AF is around the corner just waiting and laughing (she knows when you are sleeping... She knows what you're awake... This song is getting creepy). Time will tell. Temps still above cover line.

GTKY: NOT CHRISTMAS RELATED!!! Tell us your favourite date night ideas (keep it clean!)

We like to Make dinner and eat at the actual dining table with the nice wedding dished (it's the only way we use them!) there is usually a bottle of wine, candles, and lots of innuendos involved.
  • Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 22/6? (not sure I believe CH)

    Timing: -5 (x2), -4, -3, 0

    Testing Plans: NYE

R/R/CS: Yesterday I had a little bit of spotting (which I have never had mid-cycle since I got my period) and today my temp dropped below the coverline. Way too early for it to be because of AF, even if I ovulated a few days earlier (which I think I might have). So of course I'm thinking implantation bleeding and implantation dip and now I've got my hopes way up. So I definitely have to hold off on testing or I'll ruin my Christmas.

    ****chart question****

    Month/Cycle: 6/6

    CD/DPO: 12/?

    Timing: -1 or 0 I think

Testing Plans: assuming I'm not pregnant because this cycle is wacky

R/R/CS: this is my first real cycle temping and it doesn't seem to be as helpful as I really wanted it to be. FF is not giving me cross hairs and I think my life might not be conducive to temping. I have children already so on any given night I could be up with a wet bed or dealing with a bad dream or taking someone to the bathroom. I rarely get the full recommended 3 hours before I try and temp. And because I'm on vacation, my temp times have been all off. I think the spike and dip might be related to a painful ear infection my son was experiencing last week. I have no idea.
Chart question is: does it look like I ovulated? I had EWCM a couple days last week that I noticed. And is it even worth temping if this is what my charts will look like?

GTKY: NOT CHRISTMAS RELATED!!! Tell us your favourite date night ideas (keep it clean!)

This is just my opinion, but I'm thinking it doesn't look like you O'd yet. you can discard the temp on CD9 (if you want) if you know it isn't accurate. And since you say your were up with a LO ear infection then you're probably right. Assuming that the CD9 temp is wrong, it looks like the only day you could have O'd is on CD6, but that's probably just your body adjusting after AF. You're really looking for an overall pattern where your temp spikes then stays high and I'm not seeing that. I would keep HIO for now.

I'll attach my chart so you can see the temp shift I'm talking about (if you need a visual to look at)

    @MamaPerkins
It doesn't look like you've ovulated yet.  How long are your cycles normally?  CD13 is still on the early side to ovulate.  You chart actually looks really good.  The dip is huge but if you have an explanation for why it might have happened, just record that in your notes so you'll know when you look back.  If the dip seems to be causing problems later, you can discard that temp if needed.  All your other temps look relatively even especially if your sleep is disrupted.

The first cycle or two charting is frustrating because you want immediate answers but that's not how it works.  If you keep recording data, you'll find that as you look back a few days you will get a much better understanding of what is going on.

ETA:  Since it doesn't look like you've ovulated yet (not surprising) you should probably post in the WTO (waiting to ovulate) thread.  You'll feel much better talking with ladies who are in the same situation as you instead of those of us who have already ovulated for this cycle.

How are you confirming ovulation?  Can you attach your chart??

If you are using a cycle tracking app, they usually look for three consecutive days of sustained high temperatures before confirming ovulation, so ovulation is not usually confirmed until 3dpo.  Once you become really familiar with charting, you can probably be pretty sure earlier and just get confirmation at 3 dpo, but it doesn't sound like you've been doing this for long.
  • Thank you! @0SeaMonkey0 @bcooke314 @CajunSnowWhite89
I discarded that temp and now it looks like I O'd on CD 6 which is really early and I didn't have any EWCM then. My cycles are usually short , around 24-27 days but I still think that's early for an ovulation. I'll go jump over to WTO and hope that I haven't missed my FW but here is my chart without the dip.
    Thanks again for the help!

  • Still Knottie, just updated my username.

I'm not charting.  I tend to get a little neurotic and I'm worried that charting would not be healthy for me at least right out of the gate.  I've been using OPK this month for the first time and so far that seems like a good middle ground between nothing and charting.  If this group is primarily for ladies who chart, let me know and I will keep lurking and learning.  Thanks all!
  • @MamaPerkins I don't think you ovulated yet. Your temps are still mostly stable. If you like you can look in my signature to see the temp shift on my charts.

R/R/CS: my temp dropped almost below the cover line. I think I'm out this cycle. AF will prolly be here tomorrow or Christmas Eve.

  • Month/cycle: 6/now 7......bc today is CD 1. :(

    CD: 1

Even though I have felt crampy etc for days and knew it was coming (bc it has every month) I still am so so sad. Losing hope in general. Good luck to everyone else.
  • Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 22/9

    Timing: All the days

Testing Plans: Tested today even though it is way too early...BFN, shocker. I will most likely keep using my Wondfos until AF shows up...

R/R/CS: I had a great time at my dad's wedding. I wasn't planning on drinking, but the wine and prosecco were SO GOOD!! I am still a touch hungover two days later. Ouch. I have also had leftover wedding cake for breakfast for the past two days. So much for my strict, clean diet. But for real, this cake is from heaven. Chocolate with reeses peanut butter filling. My husband paid a waiter to stash three pieces for us to bring home. The cake tray was scraped clean. So freaking good!!! It was the same cake we had for our rehearsal dinner and there was not a single crumb left.
A minor rant...one of my dad's friends kept coming up to me a telling me she knew I was pregnant. I'm all, I hope so, but you never know. I guess her ute X-ray googles are well calibrated. Or maybe it was just a food baby?
I didn't temp for the two days I was at the hotel for the wedding, but my last three temps have been exactly the same! I was worried my BBT may be favoring temps, so an hour later I took my temp again and it was .3 higher, so I don't know it is just coincidence or what. At least the temp is not dropping, right? Chart is attached if anyone would like to chart stalk. I am also annoyed that I once again have brown creamy/sticky CM (sorry, TMI). It is not a lot, but it has been constant since 5 dpo. I have also been having stabbing pain in my lady bits. Not really AF cramps, just annoying pains. STOP MAKING ME WANT TO SS, BODY!!
Gosh...I had a lot to rant about since I have't posted in two days!! Sorry!
GTKY: NOT CHRISTMAS RELATED!!!  Tell us your favourite date night ideas (keep it clean!)
Why does it have to be clean??
We love going to an early dinner and then a walk on the beach. We also love to cook
    together.
  • @MNturnsVA thank you and I'm sorry about your test results. I'm sure that is frustrating.

I mentioned the cyst thing in WTO the other day, but didn't get into much detail. I didn't go to the doc or anything, but I've had two other cysts rupture that were confirmed during ER visits. This felt exactly the same as those so I'm assuming that's what it was. Unfortunately every doc I've seen for them just hands me a script for bc and doesn't ever want to do any further testing. So I don't even know what kind of cysts I get or if there has been any damage to my fertility. I have to go to military clinics and they won't do anything more than absolutely necessary. Just last year I had debilitating headaches non-stop for three months and was still refused a neuro referral and had to beg for a CT scan. I don't really bother seeing a doctor anymore unless I'm bleeding to death or have broken bones.

  • @FerdieFox I am so with you on avoiding military hospitals. That is why I go the holistic route. Sorry, a baggy of motrin is not going to fix everything, Doc.

So, have you made an appt with a primary care doc through Tricare? Most of the time, the PCP for women are also OBs, but you can ask and make sure. If you go in for a regular visit to get a check up/pap and discuss your concerns, they will most certainly send you at least for blood work and likely want to take a look. Advocate for yourself. I am also a military spouse and I went in for a pre-conception visit, told the doc my concerns about my short LP and I'm having all the tests next month - my situation is no where near as obvious a problem as yours. Perhaps they will pay more attention if you explain your history and that you are actively trying to conceive.
