Hubby and I have been trying for a year and a half. We found out in September that he has low sperm count. We decided to just relax and just see what happens. Well, I recently found out I was pregnant by taking a test at about 7:15AM right after he left for work. I had to wait to tell him in person. Last February I bought a tshirt that says "Achievement Unlocked: Created Offspring" (we are both gamers and i thougt it would be cute) and I wrapped it as an early Christmas gift. Got his reaction and tears on video. It was great!
I had ordered a spoon off etsy that says "we're expecting" and I planned to put it in his ice cream bowl (he eats ice cream every single night). But, I got my BFP and the spoon hadn't arrived yet. I ended up just blurting it out to him as soon as I saw him the same day I got my BFP. Oops! Then, about a week later the spoon arrive and we joke about it now.
I bought my son an Awesome Big Bro shirt and tried to let dh figure it out for himself but after 3 hours I just looked at him and asked how he didn't notice, he was totally clueless so I told him the shirt and he read it again and then a minute later asked if I was pregnant. So much for trying to be patient but better than laughing and saying you're going to be a daddy when I got pregnant with ds
I'm late responding to this....My DH actually went to the store and returned back with a test and told me I needed to check right then and there because I was late. He was smiling ear to ear when it showed positive. This will be our last child as we agreed that I will get my tubes tied this time around. :-)
Ladies, These made me tear up. Not sure if it is because they are so sweet and BABIES! Or...it is the hormones.
Either way, congratulations! I found out the day after Christmas. I wrapped the test and stuck it under the tree. Later that day I was cleaning and "found" the missed gift. I tossed it to him and told him we forgot one. He was very confused considering I LOVE Christmas, and I would NEVER forget a present to him.
He opened it. He cried. I cried. And then he said "we have a little snowflake!" and I bawled. The dogs had no idea what was happening.

This is our first pregnancy and we had been off BC for about a year and a half. Just letting nature do its thing... I had been a little nauseous all week, but really made me think twice and take a test was because I could hardly get through my daily workouts without sweating profusely! I took a test on a Wednesday night and the line was super faint, ran to the store the next day, took another in the target bathroom and low and behold got another faint line! I woke up at 4:30 am on Friday and decided to pee on one more (just to be sure) and sure enough a much darker line appeared. This was one week before Christmas. I wanted to wrap it up for a present, but I just couldnt wait!! When his alarm went off at 6:30, i snuggled up to him and was like I want to show you something and pulled out both tests. He was so sleepy and groggy, he was like what am I looking at?! I said i'm pregnant. He was like are you sure??? lol. I'm like I took 3 tests! Needless to say we were both pretty excited after that.
