  • I am volunteer with my local EMS as a Basic EMT, I just decided to turn off my pager because my belly size was catching up to my performance. Looking forward to learning how to get back in the game when our family is ready. We call it the "I got to go job ".
  • Preschool teacher, work at build a bear (only twice a month) and sell Scentsy on the side.
  • I'm an actuary for an insurance company. I pretty much create and price annuity products, and then work with other areas of the company to build out the support systems, marketing materials, communications to clients, etc. Sounds boring to most, but I really enjoy it!

  • I'm an RN on a cardiothoracic and vascular surgery floor. I love my job! But I still need to decide how many hours I want to work when I go back after maternity leave

So... You got a discount you can share..? I love BaB
  • I teach first grade. I'm planning on taking 8 weeks off and returning in mid to late April. At the end of May, Ill be able to spend the summer at home with my LO. We got lucky that my husband got a work from home job, so he and my grandma are going to tag team when I go back to work. I do worry about pumping at school since I don't have the flexibility to go to the bathroom when I please.
  • Day Surgery RN at the local hospital. I love it.
  • I work at an AutoNation dealership in wholesale parts. I haven't ever stayed out of work for long after having my children (11 days after first c-section) and 8 after second) because of our financial status (at a different company), but I've done very well for myself in the past few years. I love my current job and although I could probably stay out as long as i want/need, I can't imagine not going back to work as soon as I am able. I'm nervous about a third c-section, but I'm hoping to go back to work after two weeks- three at most if there are any complications.
  • I'm a pharmacist that works in inventory planning for a large corporation.  I LOVE my job but plan to take as much maternity leave as I am allowed (~18 weeks) before I head back to work.

I actually have no idea about that! "Baby sign" really just means using individual signs in isolation of the grammar and structure of ASL. So what I would do is use a website like ASLPro.com to learn whatever signs you'd like your baby to know. Videos are always better than books since ASL is a visual language. And if you'd like your baby to be fluent in ASL, a Deaf babysitter is the way to go!
  • I'm a freelance creative services consultant. I provide web/graphic design and copywriting for a variety of clients from my home office. I work about 25-30 hrs a week.
  • @ashlsis we used Signing Time by Rachel Coleman and found it super helpful. We started young and still use it at just over 2 for somethings. It teaches you which ones to start with and has DVDs with songs and music that my son loved.
