  • Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 26/11

    Timing: -4, -2, -1

Testing: Every day. BFN again and slight temp drop, so no more POAS for me.

R/R/CS: It's not over until AF shows but I feel pretty certain she will show up. Which means I CAN DRINK ON XMAS! And I can get my laser eye surgery! Trying to trick myself into thinking this is a goooood thing.

GTKY: What annoys you more? Drive-by symptom spotters or drive-by BFPs? Personally I do find the BFP announcers to be a little tactless but I have a real distaste for people who don't care to understand basic physiology in relation to TTC, like the "my nipples tell me I'm ovulating" type.

    CD/DPO:  21/7

    Timing: -5, -3, -2, 0

    Testing: Friday - 10 DPO

R/R/CS: My temps are increasing, which is good, but for some reason I'm already disappointed this cycle.  I have no reason to be yet, I just am.

GTKY: What annoys you more? Drive-by symptom spotters or drive-by BFPs?     Drive-by BFPs.  I'm sick of all the BFP announcements.  On FB, the drive-by's here, co-workers... I think the symptom spotters aren't much better but the gifs and snark that follows are always amazing!

    CD/DPO: 27/10

    Timing: -3, -2, 0, +1

Testing: if my temp stays high, 12dpo

R/R/CS: my temp shot back up??? I didn't temp yesterday because I was upset with my two temp drops. Someone give me some science because I don't know what to think right now. The unicorns and rainbows are on the way. I should remind myself that last cycle that bitch AF showed up without a temp drop warning. ETA my LP is usually 10-11 days

GTKY: What annoys you more? Drive-by symptom spotters or drive-by BFPs? What annoys me more is the drive bys!!! Seriously...you've been reading a lot on TB but you flash your BFP in our face? No ma'am.

R/R/CS: I had a dream I got my BFP.... I could have lived without that.....

    BFP, easily.

  • Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 20/7

    Timing: -4, +2

Testing: Christmas morning if no AF

R/R/CS: Finally got some CH! I was so excited this morning because my chart looks like crap. I was sick, and then DH was sick this cycle so our timing is bleh and my temps were nuts, but FF seems to think I O'd CD 13. We will see!

GTKY: What annoys you more? Drive-by symptom spotters or drive-by BFPs?

Symptom spotting. Maybe it's because I'm early in my TTC journey or maybe it's because I work in L&D, but other people being pregs doesn't bother me quite as much. Symptom spotting makes me nuts though and makes me go, "oh I have that, too..."
  • Month/Cycle: 5/3

    CD/DPO: 41/10

    Timing: -5,-3,+1

Testing: I caved and tested today. BFN.

R/R/CS: I had the most long and vivid dream that I had a BFP last night. I think that's why I couldn't hold out anymore on testing. I woke up and was convinced I was preg. Now that I've let the testing beast out, I'll prolly POAS daily til AF.

GTKY: What annoys you more? Drive-by symptom spotters or drive-by BFPs? OOh love this question. I am entertained by the symptom spotters cuz the symptoms are increasingly bizarre and all over the place. Tingly nipples, gurgling uteruses, extreme bowel movements are real symptoms that people tell a group of Internet strangers (cuz it's not like they are actual participants on the board). Boggles my mind. But drive by BFP with trite "words of wisdom" or humblebrags about their extreme fertility annoy me so much. Go share that on the Glow community cuz I hear they love that unicorn and rainbows crap. I thoroughly enjoy the flurry of gifs that gets unleashed upon them.

    Testing: BFN today, but duh

R/R/CS: *Question* I randomly woke up at 5:20, so I took my temp - 97.77. I just laid there until the alarm went off at 6 and then temped again - 98.33. I should use the first temp, right?

GTKY: What annoys you more? Drive-by symptom spotters or drive-by BFPs? I think the symptom spotters because they're more likely to obnoxiously argue over it, whereas the drive-bys post and ghost (I love that term).

  • Month/Cycle: 2/2 (1 TTCAL)

    CD/DPO: 24/9

    Timing: O

Testing: BFN this morning. As @Megzb510 said, now that I've gone down the POAS rabbit hole, I'll probably test every day until at least 13 DPO. I might stop when I go through my cheapies, not sure I want to waste my digis.

R/R/CS: After my very minimal temp dip yesterday, I got a spike this morning, highest my temp has been so far. I guess that gave me a case of speshul snowflake syndrome and prompted me to test at 9 DPO. *face palm*

GTKY: What annoys you more? Drive-by symptom spotters or drive-by BFPs?
I think the drive by BFPs are worse. The symptom spotters at least have a question, even if it is a ridiculous one. The BFPs are just being AWs.

@Chrlyr I would use the first temp. That happens to me pretty often, I just stopped taking my temp again unless I've actually been sleeping. Even when I think I've just been laying there, I've actually been tossing and turning.

  • Month/Cycle: 3/2

    CD/DPO: 25/3 or 4

    Timing: -2,-1 or -1,0

Testing: I'm thinking Christmas Eve. I don't think I want a bfn on Christmas Day but can handle it the day before. Will be a little tricky since we'll be at my in-laws.

R/R/CS: after tip-toeing in yesterday I'm more confident today. FF gave me crosshairs after this morning's temp. I'm a little rejuvenated because this means that I accurately interpreted my secondary fertility signs over the weekend. I thought I ovulated Thursday or Friday fertility friend is giving me crosshairs for Saturday so not too bad! The timing I have listed above reference is ovulation or Friday or Saturday just in case my temping was off.

GTKY: What annoys you more? Drive-by symptom spotters or drive-by BFPs?
Probably the drive-by BFP but to be honest I usually ignore all of it. Most of the time the OP never even comes back to respond so I figure why waste my energy? And, if they do respond, the drama ensues and I'm entertained!

While I do ignore most drive-bys there have been a few where I've just stared at my screen mouth open and said, "....girl wut?!"

R/R/CS: was so unbelievably nauseas today (tmi coming) and was dry heaving this morning. I never get sick so it was bizarre. Obviously it can't be a symptom since my test was negative but I just thought it was random.

Testing: watching temps, but I finally found some $.88 cheapies at Wal-Mart so now they are sitting on my dresser taunting me...

R/R/CS: Another very low temp today. Still above cover line, but wtf? So weird to have such low temps half way through LP. I read on FF that estrogen could be the culprit. I also woke up freezing because DH had turned the fan on high, but who knows. This part of TWW is the worst. I can't symptom spot, over analyze my chart, or pee on things yet.

GTKY: What annoys you more? Drive-by symptom spotters or drive-by BFPs? I like the entertainment on both accounts, but of course BFPs will become more annoying the longer it takes to get my own.

R/R/CS: Chart looks fine so far. DH is cute in asking if my temp is still high every morning. Every morning I tell him yes, but that either way it should still be high right now. Not sure he gets it, but he does get excited every morning that I tell him yes.

GTKY: What annoys you more? Drive-by symptom spotters or drive-by BFPs?
I particularly dislike the combo "I have this ridiculous symptom" + "OMG, I just tested and it was positive!"
    Rare, but the worst.
Between the two, BFP is way more annoying. SS gives me a chance to polish my gif game.

R/R/CS: I had my hopes up really high for this cycle. I think this is going to be the first one I'll be really upset about.

GTKY: What annoys you more? Drive-by symptom spotters or drive-by BFPs? BFPs, especially with the "omg don't lose hope your baby is coming" nonsense. The symptom spotting is mostly entertaining, especially the ones that have zero idea how their bodies actually work.

Testing:  BFN this morning.  There's still hope right?

R/R/CS: I was pretty mad yesterday.   No one knows we are TTC.  Last week my 17 year old brother asked me for my amazon prime acct info so he could order something.  I gave it to him.

Yesterday, my mom texts me and says:

"your brother said he saw that u purchased 25 pregnancy strips?? He asked me if you are pregnant...."

I texted her back: "I'm not pregnant and I promise I will be changing my password on my account"

THEN she texts: "are u trying?"

I texted: "wow.  I would hope I wouldn't have to tell my family not to snoop through my stuff if I give them a password.  I thought it would be insulting to even say that to him so I didn't.  Then he snoops and tells you and now you are asking me?  Boundaries People!"

So anyway, I was just really pissed that on top of my brother being a little snoop which maybe I can forgive since he's 17 BUT he couldn't keep his mouth shut to my mom AND she is clearly oblivious to how tacky she is.     Rant over.

GTKY: What annoys you more? Drive-by symptom spotters or drive-by BFPs?  I have only been here a month.  Drive by BFP's usually confuse me but then I wonder if maybe I just haven't been here long enough to know who they are!

Also, I had a CT scan last week (ordered by the rheumatologist) and the results came back and said I had cysts on my ovaries... I'm like wouldn't that have shown up on the million ultrasounds my RE did? I am very confused.

GTKY: What annoys you more? Drive-by symptom spotters or drive-by BFPs? Drive by BFP's for sure. Especially when they have been trying for 1 or 2 months.

  • @sugarpixxie2 I'm sorry, that must've been frustrating. In your brother's defense (maybe - it is totally possible that he actively snooped around), your recent searches and orders are impossible not to notice as soon as you log on. If you want to continue to let your brother use your Prime account, you can actually share your Prime benefits with family members without sharing an account, so that your brother can have access to some of your Prime perks using his own account.
  • @sugarpixxie2  OMG I almost had that happen to me! My SIL wanted to buy something using my Prime shipping. At first I was just going to give her my password but I quickly remembered and was just like "I'll order it and you can pay me back" luckily she didn't act weirded out by my sudden change of mind.

Then my sister went through a break up and I was trying to help her stay busy, so I signed into my Amazon account to binge watch some survivor with her. When I went to leave that night I signed out and she asked if I could just leave it signed on or my password so she could keep watching.... how was I supposed to say no?! So I went home and quickly archived or deleted anything in my order history I didn't want her to see!

  • Month/Cycle:  13/14

    CD/DPO:   18/4

    Timing: -3, -1

Testing: none -- waiting for AF which is due on Christmas day (great)

R/R/CS: We only half heartedly tried this cycle which is why our timing kinda blows. I think I have given up on the idea of getting pg naturally. Also, I had a CT scan last week (ordered by the rheumatologist) and the results came back and said I had cysts on my ovaries... I'm like wouldn't that have shown up on the million ultrasounds my RE did? I am very confused.

Cysts can happen to anyone throughout their cycle. Try to stay positive :)
