After feeling absolutely nothing, I finally felt something on Thursday last week that I could tell right away was a kick. Not a flutter or gas, just a poking of my abdomen from the inside. Then on Friday night, I got home after a long walk and reclined on the sofa and felt it again, so I lifted up my shirt and I could see my stomach 'punch out' where the sensation was happening. There's an alien in there!
Wednesday I'm 20 weeks exactly and I feel baby every single day now!!! Never thought I would get so happy from some movement, tiny kicks and flutters! I was anxious to feel something, also just started a couple of days ago so was wondering what everyone is talking about. I'm also a FTM
Oh, by the way, I always feel movement when I play Adele. Just thought about it since her live concert is on. Is anyone experiencing baby moving to certain songs or noises?

That's so great! I hope i can feel it soon, too. I sometimes think I feel it, but it's not distinctive enough yet to be 100% sure.
It'll be interesting to see if baby will develop a taste for certain music or songs, like yours :-)
I think I've felt baby boy this week! All your descriptions are so great...I've been having such a hard time explaining to my hubby what it feels like! It cracks me up, I have a friend who is just a few days ahead of me, and she is DREADING feeling movement, thinking it will be weird. But love it! I can't wait to feel real kicks!
I can usually tell what Little Lemon is doing by their movements (early am poke-stretching good morning, afternoon roll-switching positions for a nap). This evening they were wiggling so much (must have really been turning around!!) and I put my hand where I felt the movement and you could feel it from the outside! It felt like a rippling and would have been nuts and creepy if I didn't know what it was.
Just hit 17 weeks yesterday & finally am sure I felt the baby. DH said he's glad he doesn't have to carry it because it would freak him out to know something's moving inside him! Nothing from the outside yet & only have felt movement while laying down.
18 weeks and definitely can feel it when baby pushes on the inside of my belly! It gets rock hard like he's doing leg presses on the inside of my belly! My husband could even feel it get rock hard and then ease off. Sooooo excited!!!
I started feeling flutters about 2 weeks ago (I'm currently 16w4d). I've noticed the baby seems to be hanging out on my right side. That's where the doctor found the heartbeat immediately at my last appointment, and my right side is bulging out slightly more than my left. I even asked DH if he could see the right side sticking out more (so I didn't think I was crazy), and he said he could definitely tell. I feel most of the movement in my lower right side. It feels like fingers crawling on my insides.

Definitely feeling movement now. Wasn't sure before but last night I definitely felt a few kicks from the outside and that definitely sealed the deal. Looking back though I'm pretty sure I started feeling flutters around 17 weeks or so (I'm just past 19 now).
At my AS I was told I have an anterior placenta all I have just started to really feel anything. Mostly pressure like baby is stretching or kicks on my fat left side. @caterin baby started moving like crazy during a loud part of the star wars movie, and again when we watched Jurassic park... I guess baby really loves/hates action movies
I have started feeling movement! At first I was quick to dismiss them since I am 17 weeks and it was my first. But after talking with other moms I am now positive it's our little one I told my husband and he actually was brought to tears. It's so funny... he is more emotional than I am! (And I am the one who is hormonal!)
Started feeling some movement in the past week (Currently 18w3d)! Really grateful too, because a couple days ago a friend came up to me and gave me a big bear hug from behind, and squeezed my belly SO HARD! He didn't know I was pregnant, so wasn't mad at him, but getting squeezed like that made me feel like I was going to puke for the next hour, and also super freaked out about the baby! I know a hard hug won't hurt it, but still worried. Was really nice to start get some reassuring kicks a little while later, and ever since!
Re: Movement?!
I was driving back from Starbucks with my hot chocolate blasting Nicki Minaj. So it's one of those 2 things the baby loves.
Felt like a little flip!
