  • I know it's not Friday anymore but here is goes:

    I work for the weight loss department of a hospital and because of that EVERYONE thinks it's ok to ask my how much I weigh, how much I've gained, and make snarky comments about my weight "careful you don't want to end up being your own patient". I can handle it from my patients because it helps them open up to be more but from coworkers in other departments it's unacceptable IMO. One woman in particular makes a comment every single time I see her. It's even worse if I have food in my hands (it's usually an apple btw). Like GTFO with your nastiness. I know if I go to HR the people who are making the comments will just add something about how hormonal I am to their repertoire.

    That's totally unacceptable. I'm so sorry. The complete lack of respect people (all people, apparently, even those trained to counsel people through weight loss) have for the weight gained in pregnancy is unbelievable.
