Zits EVERYWHERE

Hello ladies

Today I want to focus on plain old zits. I have been breaking out like a teenager the past couple of weeks. The I was hoping you can share what you're doing to keep your acne under control, or what products you're using and what makeup you're using. Any advice or help would be appreciated, as I am at my wits end. I seriously look like a pizza. Argh!

    I'm having the same problem! And they are deep and very painful blemishes. I unfortunately haven't had anything that is really working yet, but my favorite zit cream is Evologie Intensive Blemish Serum. I got it in a Birch Box and LOVE IT. I'm trying it desperately to get rid of this hormone acne. So much for the glowing pregnant lady skin huh? LOL

    I don't have any store bought solutions to offer, but we make our own. I have an essential oil blend I used pre-pregnancy that works amazing, but I haven't had time yet to check all the EOs for pregnancy use safety.

    I do however make a clay blemish mask that should be fine - equal parts bentonite clay and activated charcoal, mix with a small amount of water and apply directly to blemish; let dry and then wash off with your usual products. It works similarly to the proactiv clay mask they sell.

    If you have kaolin clay on hand, you can use that also instead of the bentonite.

    I usually have oily skin so the pregnancy hormones brought me over the edge with my last pregnancy. Plus I found out the my far wash contained salicylic acid which you aren't supposed to use during pregnancy. So I switched to using "Herbalism" at Lush and use their "vanishing cream" moisturizer. I also stopped using foundation. After a week or two my skin cleared up for the most part and I've been using it ever since. Now I hardly ever get blemishes.

    I'm experiencing the same problem. Found Belli products, which are safe to use during pregnancy. I just ordered the acne stuff and am really hoping that it is effective!!
