I'm really concerned that they were frozen on day 3. I don't know why the day 3 thing is so concerning to me. I just wants what's best for my baby and me and my husband. I think I may start a discussion asking some of the others about their experiences with day 3 transfers.
@Colleen0516 So, I know I am a little late to this conversation, but I am also from Long Island. I got to the Northshore LIJ office in Smithtown, the RE Dr. Gabe San Roman. Dr Gabe is probably one of the nicest people I have ever met. He has such a positive attitude and always has suggestions, but never pushes me to do anything. His office is very clean, friendly and well organized.
I am not sure where you live on LI, but I am happy to chat if you want to know more about my experiences. I am on round 2 of IUI which will be taking place in the morning. We have severe male factor IF.
@ChristinaV2015 sorry!!! My stupid app kicked me out for days. I just got back on. So annoying. How did you doctor appointment go that day?? I was happy to run into you.... I don't know anything about day 3 frozen eggs.. Did you start a thread on it?
@babblingbrookey Hi! And welcome! Christina and I happen to go to the same office. My background is: Unknown infertility Some small male factor but nothing to categorize us as it, so we remain unknown. I've done 3 IUI's all failed, my doctor seemed to know I would need IVF. So in the end we jumped from IUI to IVF. Round 1 was a fail, negative beta. So I'm doing a Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) this month (Thursday actually). I only have 2 frozen. So if they both make it through thawing, I will transfer both.
I'm in the sayville area... So I go to Long Island IVF in Pathogue and Melvillee (patchogue office is close to my job).

@Colleen0516 I'm so excited for your FET! I'm praying for you and your Christmas miracle. When will your beta be?
I was happy to run into you as well. I told my husband it's like having a pen pal on these boards! Well when I went in on Friday they said my numbers were starting to come down so the bleed I had was a miscarriage. It brings me hope that at least they stuck. So now I go back on Friday for another blood test and hopefully I'll be able to do my January FET. Keeping as positive as I can!
The Dr's San Roman are all brothers. Dr Gerardo San Roman delivered my husband 30 years ago, Dr Gus San Roman is my OBGYN and Dr. Gabe San Roman is my RE. They are such a nice family!
I am on my second IUI, this time with Clomid. I freaked out a few weeks ago because I had 5 eggs so I thought we would have to cancel. Fortunately 2 didn't grow so we went ahead with 3. I am not very anxiously awaiting the next few days when I can test. I am 9 dpiui right now so will wait until Saturday maybe. I think we'll try IUI once more and then skip to IVF.
I hope we all end up with happy healthy babies soon and can arrange Long Island play dates and get off this forum. Good luck!!
How are you feeling @Colleen0516? What about you @babblingbrookey? I love your idea of play dates... waiting for the moment we can get off these IF boards!
