Testing: next week or not at all

R/R/CS:  Husband was out of town for fertility week. I have dotted ch on CD18 which is the day he came home so it's still possible but I'm not hopeful.  Plus my chart looks like a mess to me so who knows.  Last night I we couldn't bd because I was SO tender and it was really painful.  My uterus is extremely tender today too and there's no way we could bd.  *TMI* when anything touches my cervix it is excruciating pain that radiates into my uterus.  Years ago I had lots of female problems (cysts, fibroids, displaysia, painful intercourse, etc.) but the birth control I've been on the last 5 years seemed to finally "fix" me (nuva ring).  I just got off nuva ring 3 weeks ago.... I expected to have those problems eventually come back but I thought it would be gradual.  I don't know what is causing me the pain and I am really needing it to go away.  I am debating whether to go get seen or not, but I go through the VA and they are a nightmare.  Luckily when I do get a BFP they will refer me to and pay for private care since they aren't exactly equipped for prenatal care and baby delivery.

GTKY: Besides a BFP, what's the one thing you want for Xmas?!

    Month/Cycle: 4/3

CD/DPO: 28 / either 10 or 7 - I missed two days and it is messing with my chart

Timing: either +1 or -1 (see above!)

Testing: AF should be due somewhere next week. I have school this weekend, so the 18th, if no AF - If I can wait that looong!

R/R/CS: I have learned something new by charting! I always thought because my cycles came roughly the same time every month, I had a "normal" 28 day ish cycle. My cycles are actually a little long for "normal" - 34 days (give or take a day). Which explains why it moves a little every month, a few days out. I've never really bother to count the exact days before - If I had it the 1st the month before, sometime around the 1st I would make sure I was prepared for it, (from like - the 30th on) and it was always within a few days after when I started carrying "supplies" - Hunh. Now I know!

GTKY: Besides a BFP, what's the one thing you want for Xmas?! A moonstone necklace to replace my unakite jasper. Moonstone is supposed to be good for fertility, child birth. There is also a myth that if you give your lover a moonstone under a full moon (which Christmas juuuuust so happens to be!) you'll always have passion for each other. All good things - plusandalso - It's pretty. I think DH has gotten the hint. ;)

  • Congrats @RB777 !!!! H&H 9 months to you!!!

    Month/Cycle: 6/4

    CD/DPO:24/6

    Timing:-4,-3,0

    Testing: no plans yet

R/R/CS: I'm really negative about this cycle and  I don't know why...I feel like I want to be hopeful and positive and then my brain is all "don't be so dumb"....my temps are really off this cycle too..so that kind has me bummer out I guess

GTKY: Besides a BFP, what's the one thing you want for Xmas?! honestly just a BFP would do...it would be pretty awesome because it would be both an awesome Birthday gift (O date) and Christmas gift and the EDD would almost be on our anniversary

Testing: Still saying Wednesday. I might tomorrow night if my temp is still up.

R/R/CS: Someone talk some sense into me! My temp is staying high, even if I switch out a short sleeve shirt for long sleeve at night. And this time last cycle I'd already dropped below coverline. I'm not a speshul snoflayke, I'm not a speshul snoflayke, I'm not a speshul snoflayke....

GTKY: Besides a BFP, what's the one thing you want for Xmas?!  To go home! Which I will be around Christmas sometime.

    Testing: tomorrow if no AF

R/R/CS: I tested on 14dpo - BFN. I was expecting AF this weekend, but she was a no show. I will test tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath. I think she's just taking her sweet, sweet time. I'm also a little nervous, I must confess. I remember someone around here stating that they were nervous they had implanted late and if they did turn a test it could/would lead to a MC. I'm kinda scared that if I do turn a test it will be from late implantation and will inevitably MC. I have no idea if there is any basis for this fear, but it's there. So yeah, today is not great emotionally. I also stopped temping around Thanksgiving since it was kind of driving me mad, so I have no useful chart to share. I keep telling myself that I have no idea what's going on and no control at this point so don't worry about it!

GTKY: Besides a BFP, what's the one thing you want for Xmas?! Not winning a ton of useless crap at the DH's family dice game would be nice. I always seem to get too many doubles (and end up with too many useless tchotchkes).

    Congratulations @RB777!

@laurenlalap sorry. I know that sucks. When it happened to me, I had read my beta report and thought "3" was the gestation age. I was crushed to discover that was my HCG level. Hang in there girl! *creepy internet hug*

  • I thought your temperature has to spike the day after ovulation but my FF app said I ovulated even though my temperature didn't spike until days later?

Sometimes a slow rise occurs. You can check out different charts on FF in the "Community" section and you'll see some charts have the same pattern. Good luck!

@PoodleDoodleOoo I'm sorry you feel that way. I'm in close to the same boat and it's been making me crazy. I'm 15 DPO and AF is 3 days behind usual schedule. So I understand the frustration of just wanting a BFP or AF to show. Also, I was reading the same issues in regards to MC. It's a scary thought but at this point, what happens is out of control. Just have to try and keep your head up. :/ FX for you.

  • Thank you everyone for all of the congratulations and well wishes. Our excitement has been short lived and kind of put at a stand still. I had mentioned the other day that I had been spotting since Friday. Well, yesterday, not long after I got to work, the bleeding increased. Naturally, I was worried so I called the RE and the nurse said it could be nothing or I could possibly be miscarrying but if I was, there isn't really anything they could do to stop it. They ordered an hcg beta test as well as progesterone and estradiol tests. My number came back as 32, which confirmed pregnancy but the nurse seemed a little concerned that it was only at 32 when my last period was Nov. 5. She said it could be fine though since they aren't sure exactly when we conceived. I rested the rest of the day and the bleeding completely stopped. I also haven't had any cramping which should be a good sign. So, the doctor wants to have me retest tomorrow and then see me on Monday next week. This wait is awful. I started bleeding again this morning when getting around for work so I decided to call in and stay home and rest again. It drives me crazy to lay here and worry all day but it seems like moving around a lot causes the bleeding.
  • I'm sorry @RB777. I'll be thinking about you!!

  • @RB777 I'm sorry to hear all that and i can't imagine what it's been like for you waiting. I think it's a good call to get rest. Fx for good news on Monday!
