  I like both names. I'm naming my daughter Ella, so there's my vote I would also recommend posting this on the Baby Names board, you may get more feedback.

  I like both of those. They were both on our list of baby names...well...my list as DH didn't approve haha.

  I like both names. We are naming our baby girl after both of our grandmas. Her name will be Elizabeth Louise

  I much prefer Ella. While very popular it's also more timeless. Harper is about as trendy as you can get and will likely date your child.

  I guess Ella. I'm an Ella. Actually I'm an Elizabeth but Elizabeth is a family name so by the time it came my way, the nn pickings were pretty slim. I got Ella which is an unusual nn for Elizabeth but not unheard of. Everybody calls me that except for my bff who calls me Lizard.
  
  However, as an Ella, I dislike how common its become. That irks me. I used to be "Elizabeth.. you know.. Ella" Now I'm "Ella.... you know.. Elizabeth".
