I'm 12w6d and I've gained over 5 pounds, but not sure he much more. I don't have a scale. I gained close to 80 lbs with my first pregnancy--but part of that was because we lived in a hotel for 2 months and ate every meal out. I hope to do better this time.
I felt bad posting at first but I am13+5 and up about 10lbs. I didn't have a lot of ms and instead I'm hungry all the time although it has subsided a bit.

Don't feel bad, I'm sure it will level off. It's tough. I have been so hungry too! I have been eating badly because of food aversions but now they have gone and I'm still eating naughty food. I need to rain in my eating a bit and start eating veg again.
At 10 weeks I am down 1-2 lbs from my starting weight. I started overweight so I'm trying to maintain this trimester so I can work on gaining the minimum my dr told me. I have started to get some nausea this past week so I've been eating a lot of crackers and drinking ginger ale which is starting to taste nasty now. With my first two pregnancies I gained way too much and never lost as much as I should've before the next pregnancy. My goal this year was to lose 20-30 lbs before getting pregnant for the 3rd time but I actually gained weight after a chemical pregnancy this spring so just trying my best now.
Today is the last day of my first trimester. I am 13+6. I am a little on the plus size and during my first trimester I lost 14lbs due to extreme non stop morning sickness
At a little over 12 weeks, I'm up 4-5 lbs. I'm still working out at my pre-pregnancy level: running long distance and doing Insanity workouts on the days I don't run. I'm very frustrated that I've gained anything.
Thanks for the positive thoughts @Atlast111! It's been hard because I was on a reduced calorie diet prior to getting a bfp and I keep craving regular soda which I know is not good but I don't want to drink diet either. Then when I could finally start drinking coffee again, I only wanted sugary lattes, so I think my beverage choices haven't helped! I actually get tired of eating so much but the hunger never goes away! I agree that I should start eating more veg too!
I'm 12 weeks today. I lost 6 pounds. I think because of several reasons. I've become more health conscious, smaller portions, and staying hydrated. No ms or nausea! I know second tri, you are supposed to consume 300 more calories.
Well.... I feel horrible after reading all these lol. I'll be 14 weeks on Monday and I'm up 10. *hides in a corner and cries*
Megan!!! How have you been? Be glad about those 10 lbs
Hey! Yes.. You're totally right, I'll go through anything for this little miracle! That being said, dang do I need to get my eating back on track. . How are you!?
I'm down a couple of pounds thanks to MS. I don't know if this pregnancy will be anything like the last one, but last time I didn't gain much weight throughout, due to hyperemesis and then severe heartburn (I was/am overweight to start with). When I came home from the hospital I was under my pre-pregnancy weight, although that was partially due to my hemorrhage. Would've been nice if I'd managed to keep it off, but apparently pregnancy is the only time I'm ever not hungry.
13 weeks and 1 day and I have gained 2 pounds so far. I gained 40 pounds last time, but I am on the thin side at 5'8'' and 135 starting out. I did just eat a massive/disgusting amount of Taco Bell that may have just helped me gain a few more pounds.
I am 13 weeks and, despite keeping up with my regular exercise (although it is modified somewhat) have probably gained about 7-8 lbs. Thankfully, I haven't thrown up at all however I have been eating pretty often to help combat nausea. For my first 2 pregnancies I ended up gaining about 35 lbs each. I have always been in pretty good shape and I was in great shape before this pregnancy so I am freaking a bit about the weight gain BUT I know it's normal for me during pregnancy and it's a small sacrifice for this little miracle growing inside me.
Yikes, about 10 pounds by 13 weeks here. I gained more than that at this point during my first pregnancy though. I blame it on all the carbs I could only eat for the first 11 weeks. I can just look at carbs and I gain weight!
No morning sickness for me, just insatiable hunger, so at 12wks I'm up 8 lbs. I've been trying to listen to my body tell me I'm hungry but it's hard to get out of the routine of eating so often, especially with a drawer full of snacks in my desk all day.

I'm at 11w 2d and I've lost 8 lbs, but I was overweight to begin with. Also, I decided to measure myself last night, and my butt is three inches smaller, my waist and bust two inches bigger. I am definitely carrying a bloat baby right now.
I have gained a lb depending on the day lol. Last doc appt I had lost a lb, I'm not really worried about it yet, because I have had such awful nausea I just eat as much as I can when I actually can eat without feeling like I need to vomit.
I gain a lot every time so I know the lbs will come soon enough. I gained 60lbs each with my first two, and 40lbs with baby#3 so I'll be shocked if I gain any less than 40lbs.
I haven't gained any weight and I'm 11 months and 4 days with my first! But my flat tummy is now squishy, most of the muscle mass I had from working out has faded! I've had the insatiable hunger as well, and the total lack of energy to even out, so I'm amazed I haven't gained any pounds! Just getting squishy!
I'm 12 weeks. I've lost weight. My doctor's not pleased. I'm not either. With my first I gained a lot during the first trimester. Hopefully I get on track soon.
I've actually lost 12lbs.. Crazy right! This is my first pregnancy and I've had such terrible morning sickness.. 11 weeks this week and things seem to be looking up.. Anyone else had dramatic weight loss and should I be worried? TIA!

Sorry you've been so sick. Many previous posters indicated that they lost as much or more weight than you. Some say doctors are not pleased and some say their doctors are not concerned. It probably has a lot to do with your pre-pregnancy weight. The best person to ask would probably be your OB. Hope you start feeling better as your 2nd trimester approaches!
Reading this whole thread and haven't posted, cause I honestly have no clue. Feel a little shame. 12wks today and not sure what I was to start or where I am now....Just can't bring myself to really try and track anything lately. I keep thinking I should buy a scale but realize this would be more appropriate for me:
So far (12w today) I have lost about 10 lbs. I'm hypothyroid and my levels are getting better than ever causing me to lose weight. Last pregnancy I lost 40 lbs due to my thyroid levels and horrible ms all pregnancy.
I've already gained 10 lbs! Was underweight/small to begin with and I did the same thing with my DD. Dr said due to not having much body fat to feed off from, I have to give more than most woman do. I guess it makes sense.
My trainer told me that of all his clients the women who are the slimmest to start usually tend to gain the most weight in pregnancy. This is because they often follow calorie controlled diets and intensive gym regimes which stop when pregnant. Don't worry ladies, the body needs to store fat in pregnancy in preparation for feeding which I have been told can burn upto 500 cals a day so it will get burnt off later for those who choose to BF.

Makes sense. For FTMs/those who haven't BFed before, BFing will make you insanely hungry and thirsty. THAT is when you feel like you're really eating for two!
Re: How much weight did you gain 1st trimester?

I lost weight in 1st tri last time, too, and ended up gaining 40 pounds, mostly in 3rd tri.
Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!
