Burning after sex

I wasn't able to have sex during my last pregnancy due to pelvic rest and then bed rest so we never had sex. We've done it a few times this time (with approval from my doc) and there is always burning immediately following. Is this normal with hormones?? I have an apt on Monday and i'll mention it.

    I would assume that it's just from friction. DH and I have only tried to have sex once so far, and it ended up being really painful and I had a bit of bleeding from the friction. I think it's because of the extra blood and swelling that can happen during pregnancy.

    I'm with @knitmama.  Lots of changes going on in your nether regions leads to some possible uncomfortable circumstances.

    Get a lube, may help.

    Only discomfort I have is cramps after orgasm.

    I highly recommend coconut oil as lube. 100% natural, a natural anti-fungal and gives a very velvety soft ummm... glide ;) Seriously, give it a try (BTW coconut oil is not condom safe, just FYI) :D I had some major discomfort during my first pregnancy due to friction and the CO works like a charm!

    The only time my lady parts have burned was after using a certain lube. Apparently, I have sensitive skin everywhere.

    Or you might have an infection. Never know.

    I would recommend lube. We did it Sunday and I hurt SO bad afterwards. I ended up getting a UTI. I'm still sore and hurt. I'm never having sex again! Haha
