@ecwk Yep, you can order them extra hot. I know because my mom does it all the time. She will nurse her drink all day long so she asks for it extra hot to last her longer. And even then, she'll usually only drink half, save the rest in the fridge and doctor it up the next morning with her own concoction of spices, milk, coffee and eggnog. I guess she feels she's getting her money's worth by creating two drinks out of one!
Ok good!!! Thanks!! I was disappointed with my latte the other day because it was cool after a couple of minutes - I'll order it extra hot next time!

A day late, but WTF, stairs? I was leaving for work this morning and I stopped on the second or third stair down and contemplated going back up to do something. I turned to go up the stairs and decided against it so I turned again to go back down and fell the rest of the way. I felt my left pinky finger snap at first impact and the rest of the ride down the stairs felt like I was in slow motion--like I should have been able to stop it, but I couldn't. Even though I was face down and head first all the way down I'm pretty sure the baby is okay. My husband and I laid down on the couch together until we felt movement and now he's bouncing around like crazy as usual (baby, not husband). No bleeding or fluid gushes and no pain in my abdomen. I called my OB and talked to a nurse and she said I don't need to come in unless I experience any of those symptoms or decreased movement. My finger is very likely broken, but an ice pack and a splint were much less expensive than a visit to the doctor or urgent care. I just wish I could have something stronger than Tylenol for the pain.

That's just blantantly rude.

No, if you smoke you know you smell. Sitting next to anyone after smoking is bad manners, sitting next to a pregnant woman is just being a dick.
WTF my job. I keep telling people "It's December, eat a cookie and google all day so we can all slow down on the work" but my inbox is filling faster than I can attack it.
And WTF my husband. He won't get on board with my idea to house hunt and it's beyond annoying. We have enough bedrooms, but our house is small. We generally eat in the living room because we don't have a dining room and the kitchen table hardly even fits in the kitchen, we don't have that much room to actually pull chairs out and sit. That's just one of my complaints, I could go on. We have been paying two mortgages - thanks to him keeping his house from before we met - and we finally accepted an offer on it. I feel like I've done a lot financially to prepare us for baby and eventually a bigger house, but he just isn't on board. He thinks people should have their house paid off and buy cars with cash before they retire - I got time, I'm in my twenties. I get his dream world, that would be great. I also know who Dave Ramsey is, and don't want to hear it. But we make over 6 figures combined in live in a rural area. We have basically 0 debt aside from our current house, in which we have 40% paid off. Our income more than allows a slightly large house payment. I guess when our house finally busts at the seams and he comes home to Barbies that exploded all over the front yard he will finally be convinced. I know some people can't even afford a house, etc. Okay I'm done.
Maybe this is a @kynbar5 style WTF but the lady in 3rd tri who's 34 weeks and complaining her husband isn't giving her sex because she's contracting and 2cm??? Get over it! Her attitude about sex doesn't jive with best intentions for baby. No doctor is going to be "ok" with baby coming at 34 weeks because there will be automatic NICU stay.

Yes! And she classifies sex with the only way to be romantic. Umm, maybe it's just me but (especially when I'm pregnant) sex is so far from romantic. I get more romance out of sitting on the couch cuddling than anything else. She sounds so pushy and definitely like she doesn't have the babies best interest at heart.

You guise!!! She is concerned about her LO's health. The doc said she'll only end up needing oxygen if born premature...plbbbbt! Oxygen, no big deal. Now to the important part, how do I get some? Giggity, giggity, goo!!
Wtf to the final arrival of "laboring poop". For those of the fortunate ones that don't know what this is, well let me explain. It's the process of pooping where your body takes over and does it's thing. It's like a little mini labor. For those of you with toddlers, it's the poop where they get the slight hunch and their faces do this (actually pretty funny looking) half smile, half grimace and turn slightly red thing. I seriously giggle at this face and at myself when I can honestly picture in my head exactly what I look like. It's also when you can count on a brand new hemorrhoid. So there's my big tmi wtf for today haha.

@alligreer88 I agree you'll probably need a bigger space later (like in a few years) but don't rush now. We live in an urban Center so we rent because we're not millionaires but I kinda wanted to move to a bigger place before my first was born. We decided to wait (we have a 2 bedroom flat) and it was THE BEST decision. Having low costs is awesome for mat leave (I took a year bc I'm in Canada with my work I get 93% of my salary for 4 months and 55% for the other 8 months) and looking after a kid in a smaller space is soooo much easier. Seriously if you purge and don't overboard with stuff it's so nice having LO in a small space, you can cook and keep an eye on them in the living room play space. It worked out so well for us that we're staying in the same place for our 2nd and hopefully buying in 2/3 years. Short term small spaces = awesome.

I am a day late because I literally couldn't yesterday but WTF grown ass adults that got all butt hurt because they didn't get "formally" invited to my buildings Christmas party and decided to take it out on me?! I work at a University and we are split by building by programs. My faculty asked for a Christmas party so I planned one, all while fully informing everyone I saw that we were having one. Then yesterday, the day of the party, 2 hours before it started, I had a faculty member come upstairs and totally lose it on me because she was "offended" that someone else didn't get invited (keep in mind that she was invited and told to invite anyone that was interested!) And then she got even more upset because I started crying....hey, 6+ months pregnant here, wanna know what else makes me cry? EVERYTHING! GRRRR
Day late here too. Wtf to ER visits for an abscess tooth including shots and antibiotics. Throwing up for two days straight and my face swelling. Now today my 6 year olds hamster dies out of no where. Here I am crying and emotional. Now trying to figure out how to tell him when he gets out of school. Oh my.
wtf tell my sister i have 3 weeks of homework to catch up on in the next to days as the semester ends saturday and she responds by asking me to do a job application quiz for her that takes 45 minutes. i then proceed to waste 40 minutes just trying to get the dang link to work before giving up. now she is emailing the business to see if they can fix the problem so that i can do the quiz for her tomorrow. grr, like i dont have a billion things to do between just having moved 850 miles one way, school, ds, dr appointments, our dad having major surgery yesterday and now caring for him as he heals, holidays.... list goes on. now i get to deal with her again

Um...yeah...I so wouldn't do that for my brother. If your sister is grown enough to work, she's grown enough to get her own job. I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous.
@red3ye it's hard to hear but don't enable them. I'm labelled as the smart one in my family and my mom and brother always ask me to do their resumes. It's so much easier just to do it and get it over with (I'm a corporate manager so when we run competitions I receive 100s of resumes). Last few requests I've gotten I've sent their old one and told them they need to update their employment history. It didn't end too well for them, lots of "why can't you do it" and I eventually caved despite being super busy. It's been hard to break this 10+ year habit but there might be time for you!
thanks for the support ladies. I tend do give alot with my family until I snap and then they are s.o.l. I went through similar issues with my brother and with my oldest sister. My parents burned their bridges with me long ago. This sister has always been harder though: I have always been closer to her and find myself going out of my way for her far more than I should. Even when I tell myself that I'm done, I still end up caving. Have a feeling though that she will burn her bridge with me to when the twins come. Ps. I still talk to all of my family but I lost all sence of sympathy for them and no longer help them when they wine.
@red3ye maybe ease her into it and be there when she takes her test. My parents do a lot for my brother (like laundry, makes his breakfast and lunch, etc) and every once in awhile she loses it (cause she's catering to his every whim) and "goes on strike" but it's not effective because he doesn't know what he's doing and she waits til the last minute so there's no planning. It's a shitty situation. Maybe being with you while she's doing the test might give her some confidence to do it by herself next time : )
@red3ye I totally get it. I let a LOT go with family and sometimes feel really walked on. I feel sorry for people reading half of my posts here because I tend to let it out and vent here since I keep so much in or try to put it more kindly than I would prefer. Family is tough!
I like @jenniferamcooper 's idea about easing her in by helping her but while she actually does the work. It'd be better for her in the long run, too.
I used to have mothers coming in asking for applications for their kids all the time at the bank and so did my husband at his retail store. We both would get their names and if the application ever showed back up...which obviously it didn't fairly often...it pretty much went straight in the trash. Pet peeve...if you can't be bothered to get the job yourself, we don't have confidence in how bothered you'd be to actually do the job if you got it.
But I get it...I have stuff I cave on that I shouldn't with my family too.
