I think the middle names are fine. The girl's first name = meh. The boy's first name reminded me of LOTR. I'm not sure how you chose it, especially after someone else pointed out where it comes from.
Choosing names is hard. When I think of a name I first think of potential nick names. Then I do the resume and introduction tests. For instance, I have to introduce myself to multiple people every day at work, I'm glad I have a fairly common, well-know name; however, mine isn't spelled the typical way so even people I've known for years still often spell it wrong.
Honestly when it comes to working in the real world, there is so much job competition that some people could get eliminated from the running simply based off of their name. If I was an employer hiring I would probably side-eye a resume for a Gadreel. (Or such things as Katniss, or Loki, etc. and I know of people who have chosen those names for their kiddos).
If you are really set on those names, then it's better not to post a thread here asking for opinions. If you aren't going to change your mind then our opinions dont matter to you.
Hey now! My fur child is named Loki! :P
Your fur-child will never have to go to college or support himself, so you get a pass (what a freeloader )
@cmjenkies Athena is smart but she's too lazy to get through school. I keep telling her that she's 6 months old now and it's time for her to contribute, as her puppy food and shots are rather pricey, and she ignores me. I think it's because she knows that we do her shots ourselves, so it's cheap. Stupid smart dog!

Clearly none of your relevant and sensible points matter to Gadreel's mom!

These names are a wonderful representation of the time and consideration you (and your SO?) put in to coming up with non-ordinary names for your child! Your baby will never have to suffer the pumishment of having his/her name something non-uneeq. Congratulations on choosing a name and welcome to the world little Gadreel / Braylynn.

I think Loki is a cute name for a puppy or kitty, but not a human. My SIL has a cat named Lucious, and I think thats cute, but would never consider that for a baby. Pet names are totally different than human names!
ppl cn hv opinions without being rude... I know difficult now a days but trust me it is possible
Did you run out of vowels when you spelled your poor child's future name?
Y is a vowel...sometimes...
I know... I was just talking to my friend about stupidly spelled names she's encountered whilst working at Disney. Apparently Iveigh is a thing. As well as Leighla, Ashleigh, and a few more I'm forgetting. We basically decided that basic Starbucks flavored white chicks love their -leigh's and left it at that. Like people really don't get how it makes the child look dumb by association?

This made me laugh so hard when I saw the screen name
I need @PositivityPolice to come back. She has been gone for forever and I need to know if she was being sarcastic. If it was sarcasm, she wins. She wins the internet.

She was here ages ago and started one of the pinned posts...maybe she's just lurking in the background...waiting...

I do not like the name Gadreel? I'm not sure I even know how to pronounce that....? I would definately consider what it will be like for your son in middle school with that as his name. I'm just being honest, and not trying to be rude in any way..
Ooh, how about medusa? I already have a medusa tattoo; could it be clandestine? Compared to Medusa, Elena is just so...run-of-the-mill. MN ideas, anyone?

It's obviously sarcasm

I don't understand the point of this post. If it's your final decision, what are you hoping to gain from posting about it, besides to receive unsolicited opinions and comments?
Re: final decision
But I'm with you- at first, I thought it was a funky spelling of Gabriel.
I think you ladies have represented A16 well.
Pic because she's adorable and lazy
