Any high-risk mommas wanna do check-ins?? Like maybe weekly?? Any ideas for what to include?? Here's what I thought for a check-in. What else??
How far along:
Why are you high risk:
Any questions?
Any updates or changes?
Sounds good to me. I'm not sure if my Dr is actually going to classify me as high risk or just consider me normal and monitor a little extra. She seems to be taking high risk precautions so far though.
I'm in! I've had an awful and stressful fertility journey so far and no one really had any answers until it worked so my doctor is watching closely. I have a 7 week ultrasound and follow up betas over the next two weeks. I'm so scared but I feel like I'm just annoying people after a while
I'm down! This high-risk shit sucks. I have a blood clotting disorder called antiphospholipid syndrome. I have to take a lovenox injection every morning. My tummy looks like a heroin junkies arm.
I like the idea of a check in! I'm not really sure if I'll technically be considered high risk but I'm on lovenox as well for my blood clotting condition (Factor V Leiden- homozygous). I'm five weeks along today (per ovulation date). No cute belly pics here either @ThisAgain I feel like one side of my belly hates the shots and the other side isn't too bad. I have stuck (no pun intended) mostly to the middle abdomen (at least an inch away from the belly button) but I think I'll be moving out to the love handles soon to give that area a break. I'm pretty skinny which is a disadvantage in this case lol
@Merocket59 I feel you on everything you just said. I have one side that hates it, and one side that doesn't mind it. On the side that hates it- crazy bruising. I've been taking arnica and using witch hazel to help the bruising heal. Today I made the mistake of injecting it where my waist band has been rubbing me all day.
