Anyone else have a beautiful chunky baby?

My little girl was born a week late at 8lbs 15oz. She's 11 weeks old now and almost 17 pounds!!! She's healthy, happy, hitting all her milestones, but everyone still comments on her heftyness. Anyone else have a jolly green giant baby?

Me! Measured 16lbs 2oz at 10w2d and probably pushing 17 by now at 12 weeks. We are solidly in 6 month clothing, almost into size 3 diapers and he has outgrown the miracle swaddle

What a cute little chunk! I have a big boy on my hands too. He was born 2 weeks early at 6 lbs 15 oz and at 12 weeks he's 17 lbs! I get constant comments about his weight too but my pediatrican loves it, she can't get enough of it! Her words were "we like big fat babies here, that means they're healthy." So who cares what anyone else says lol

My girl isn't chunky compared to other babies, but to me she is huge! She was only 3lbs 14oz at (full term!!) birth, so now at 3 months old she is getting closer to 10lbs and I feel like she is HUGE! I mean, she has a double chin and the fat creases on her legs are nearing the point of becoming full fledged rolls! She's becoming a chunker!

My little guy is not so little - 14 lbs, 3 oz at his 2-month checkup two weeks ago. More baby to love! Like @chelseajeanene said, hefty=healthy in my book!!

Oh yeah! My little (big) guy is 16 lb 9 oz. at 13 weeks and is in the 98th percentile for height. He was born a week and a half early at 8 lbs 10 oz. Love his chubby cheeks, milk gut, and chunky thighs!

Yep! Dude was 13lbs 4oz at his 2 month appointment (that was a month ago today) I figure he's probably somewhere in the 15lb range now.

My Roman was 14lbs 3 oz at his 2 mo checkup and is 3 mo now so I imagine he is around 15lb or so. He is pretty tough to carry now since Im fairly petite and scrawny arms!

My Emily is a chunky girl and I love it! At her 2 month she was 12lb 10oz so I'm sure she is around 14 or so by now. Her little rolls and double chin are so adorable

Anyone else have a baby that seems to hate wearing pants? I think they are uncomfortable on his belly so he is a much bigger fan of sleepers!

My guy is 15 lbs 8 oz at 2 1/2 months. Everyone comments on it to me, too, but he's healthy and happy! I figure momma's milk must be doing something right and take it as a compliment when they comment on his weight

My LO was 7 lbs 4 oz at birth and at his 2 month check up was 13 lbs 6 oz. He has the most adorable chunky thighs and double chin I've ever seen! He is happy and healthy, and that's all I could ask for (:

my LO was 8lbs 2 oz at birth and was 14 lbs at 11 weeks she's a chunk and long too some of her three month sleepers don't fit her toes look like they are gonna pop through.

Oh yes! She was born 10 lbs and when weighed at her 2 month check up she was 16.10. A one year old was also there getting her check up and she was 21lbs! My girly is big but she is so long as well. She was born at 23inches long and is a good 26 now. Solidly in 6 month clothing now.

DD went from 17th percentile at birth to 90th. Babies are supposed to triple their birth weight by 1 year. She's already doubled hers by 3 months!

ETA: That outfit on her is 6 months... yeah...

Chunky monkey here! Was 12lb 6 ounces. That was 3 weeks ago! Haha. Yes, my back hurts and neck aches from nursing and feeding. Lol. He has about 3 chins and chunky legs. Takes a while to find his neck.

Yes! LO was 14lbs 2oz at his 2 month appointment, haven't had him weighed since but let's just say that some 6-9 month clothing is getting to be too small so he's already using a few 12 month outfits at 14 weeks. Oh and we need a new car seat very soon

I'm glad I'm not alone in feeling this. My guy was 5.10 at birth and now at 3 months 15.1lbs. He has no neck basically, I have to tilt his head back and clean under his chins really good after he eats. His legs are huge now. He is wearing 6-9 months clothing. You'd never guess he came a month early.

Definitely have an adorable chunky baby here. Will find out today at her 2 month appt (10 weeks old) today what she weighs although I am guessing around 13. She was 8.1 at birth and eats like a champ!

She is adorable, and so are all these other chunkers! My baby girl is 11 weeks, her last weigh in she was 13.4 pounds, the 78th percentile for weight haha. I love the rolls!!
