@ultratomato no you aren't! My DH used to say stupid crap like that and now he knows better. He is constantly wondering how he did on his exams (he's getting his masters) and I said...so you're anxious to find out how you did on your exam, and that's NOTHING compared to how I feel wondering if there is a little baby growing in me for two weeks, so stfu. Lol. Then the other day during a breakdown I commented how I can't believe we have been at this for 16 months now and he says "has it really been 16 months or is that an exaggeration?" If looks could kill. Of course he wouldn't realize it's been that many failed months!

@martinez1029 my cramps are on and off and not so bad so I have no clue what that means- I'm a freakin mess emotionally. I'm so in my head I forgot my laptop for work today and my badge to get into the building- my boss must think I'm crazy. I hope you feel better- just be gentle with yourself today and just remember we only have 2 more days. That said I'm emotionally spent and worn out. I'm already gearing up for the worst case scenario- it's not a good way to be but it's where I'm at. Like what @kh87 said- I'm trying to keep busy.

I don't think the husbands/ partners in our lives and sometimes friends or family get what an emotionally taxing experience all of this is and the emotional toll of the constant monthly disappointment- it's too much sometimes.

My DH keeps telling me either way we are fine and it'll all be ok and my sister in law says, "it'll all work out I'm sure". Wth does that mean?? It's just hard to hear in the moment. Anyway sorry for the vent but had to get that off my chest.

Yeah this time period is the worst and what's worse is if this cycle didn't work then I have to take December off because my husband has no more PTO left until January ... I'm so bummed out today I'm just praying I'm preparing myself for the worst and axtually get the best. FX for all of us !!!!

Tonight is my MIL's birthday. If there's one thing that stresses me out during a TWW its having to be around my MIL. Lol. At least it will get me out of the house for the evening I guess... Tomorrow I have absolutely nothing going on besides work (and I work from home so plenty of time to overthink). I know tomorrow's going to be the worst day!

My H doesn't really understand this whole process. I'm freaking out every day and he just tells me to calm down. I also try to "guess" what's happening (like this cycle I'm convinced I'm NOT pregnant) and he keeps telling me I have no way of knowing what's going on. I was certain I didn't ovulate (because my temps didn't rise) but then my 6dpo progesterone level was high enough to show that I clearly DID ovulate (and H was like, "See?? You don't know what's going on with your body!"). He was right. So maybe he's right this time? I don't know. I'm feeling a cramp here and there and if I poke my boobs, they hurt (but maybe from poking them so much?). I keep wondering if I'm feeling some nausea but I think it's just some indigestion. For those testing on Thursday, we only have two more sleeps to go!! I can't believe I've made it this far without testing (of course I did give all my tests to H to hide so there's that...)

AGH!!!!!! I'm so impatient!

I am so impatient too. I can't stand it!! I just got off the phone with my DH and he basically told me to calm down and everything is fine,

@martinez1029 I understand how you feel. We are taking December off as well, so I can do some more tests ( HSG and saline ultrasound). I'm glad we're doing it but bummed it requires a whole month off. Also my nurse wants me on birth control that month to buy more time for the tests and any procedures if we need to do them. I'm not very comfortable going on BC for a month. I feel like it will throw off my cycle but she ensured me it wouldn't. I really hope I don't need to do all of that and just get my BFP.

Is anyone doing a HPT before the beta or are you going straight for the beta? My clinic just told me to go to the lab on Thursday and do the beta.

@roxgibbons I'm waiting until Thursday... No HPTs for me... I'm certain I'll be getting my period any second now... What a cruel joke all these "symptoms" are . I'm sorry I'm such a negative nancy today but I'm not very well at coping with disappointment ... It's been so long idk why I still cry ...

I'm also taking a month off in December to visit the in laws in Florida which will be nice break from our cold weather and I think my self and body will need it especially if it's a BFN

@jilligan14 DH & I were literally laughing out loud at your statement about overpoking your boobs and not knowing if they really hurt

that was LITERALLY me the whole two weeks. The girls at my work kept looking at me funny every time I would mess with them. I just acted like they were itching from dry winter skin.
Honestly, I hope it makes you feel better that I had no symptoms aside from ovulation symptoms and sore boobs up until my BFP. And even now with my levels at 220, it's sto just the sore boobs I'm feeling. I'm super in tune with my body also. Don't give up hope

Question: For those of you who have been on progesterone supplements before, how long after stopping them does your period usually show up? I've heard anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks. Just trying to get an idea if my test is negative on Thursday. Thanks!

I have the same question. I keep randomly getting AF cramps and wondering if she's coming, but I don't even have spotting or anything. Do you have to stop the progesterone for it to come or will it just come on its own?

So I started spotting a day before AF was due last month as I normally do during a non medicated menstrual cycle . The full flow didn't come until 4 days after I stopped taking the supplement (so I was 3 days late)

@kh87 My doctor only prescribed them for 12 days so tomorrow is my last day taking them and I'll be 13 DPO. I don't know why or if I will have to keep taking them if I am KU. I plan to ask when I have my 2nd opinion consultation tomorrow.

@erica0901 my dr also gave me a RX for 12 days, twice a day. She also told me that if I get pregnant this cycle I'll have to keep taking them for 10 weeks!

@alqizwik haha, I'm glad that I'm not the only one who gropes my boobs in public! I actually notice it most when someone hugs me and kind of squishes my boobs. Then I need to do a few jabs to make sure the pain/sensation I felt was real. It's ridiculous. Thanks for reminding me that the lack of symptoms is okay. It's just so crazy to have no idea what's going on. I mean, there could be a little embryo in there, busily multiplying cells and the such. Or it could just be an open vast empty nothing, with AF getting ready to stomp on my dreams. Sigh.

@erica0901 I took progesterone for many cycles and I'd always get AF 3 days from my last pill, like clockwork. The only time in my life my body has been predictable! Most docs have you continue it for a good portion of the first trimester. And most people say that AF won't come until you stop the progesterone.

@jilligan14 I here you with the no symptoms- I do get the occasional on and off cramps but it feels like not much is going on and no sore boobs, not even a tingle.

@erica0901 I was on progesterone suppositories and I would always start AF anyways. The only thing I noticed is that the meds made my LT phase for from 12 days to 15 days and AF was lighter. But again, like clock works, on 15 DPO AF would always arrive and that's when I would stop taking them.

**Boob checking - hahaha! I do this all the time! I work in outside sales so while I'm driving around I always check em throughout the day! Hahaha! God only knows how many people have pulled up next to me while I was doing it.

‼️Ok guys we may have something going on. ‼️went pee last night (11dpo) and had a spot of brown. But only when I wiped and only once! I never spot earlier than the night before AF is due. AF isn't due until Saturday for me! Implantation?!? So far nothing when I went pee this am and BFN on my FMU test. Today marks 12dpo. Also notice my temp went up this AM. Scared to even think this could be something.

Why the heck did all of you only get 12 days worth of progesterone and I got a lifetime supply?? I'm on the 200mg x3 a day. 45 capsules with 6 refills! Is this bc of my PCOS i wonder?

Only one more sleep until so many of us test! I know this isn't my cycle but as long as AF doesn't come I'll do it just to know for sure. I keep randomly getting AF like cramps that last for a minute and then go away. Happens several times a day. Other than that I've basically got no symptoms at all. My boobs have stopped leaking and they're barely sore now.

I had terrible anxiety/insomnia last night like I always get before my period comes. I'm really feeling out in this one but I'm keeping my FX for all of you!

Yes, those of you with only 12 days of supply, I would call your doctors immediately and/or refill your prescription. If you stop taking them, the drop will cause withdrawal bleed, which is not good if you don't know if you are pregnant yet. That makes absolutely no sense for 12 days only, and I would seriously question any RE who wouldn't prescribe an amount to get you through the 2ww. @erica0901 I am so happy you are getting a second opinion. Your current REs strategies are blowing my mind!

@riveridgional thanks for your comment! I am seriously thinking of switching practices (my 2nd opinion appt is in a few hours). I have no clue why they just prescribed prometrium for 12 days, it seemed odd to me as well. I will ask the doctor that I see today and just see if he can prescribe more. I honestly don't feel like dealing with my old practice anymore

So as hard as I am trying to stay in a zen state of mind until tomorrow, I am feeling excitement and dread all mixed in one. Honestly, I'm just scared about the upset of yet another BFN. The way the lab does it, is that they email you the results a couple hours after the test and all the email says is NEGATIVE or POSITIVE when you open the lab results. Last month, I was so upset receiving that email with the NEGATIVE in all caps and bold. Talk about insensitive. Anyways- we'll see.

@roxgibbons I'm tomorrow too. Feeling good. Expecting the worst but hoping for the best. I feel like a negative won't surprise me but a positive would surprise the hell out of me. I've been thinking about how I would tell DH if it was positive. It's a little harder for us ladies bc DH's know when we are testing so it makes a surprise almost impossible!

@roxgibbons I can't believe tomorrow is almost here! I was having some nausea this morning but now I feel absolutely nothing at all. I'm actually scared to take the test tomorrow as I just don't want to cry all day if it's negative. But my DH has already promised to make me brownies and ice cream tomorrow night (if the test is negative) so I guess that will help me get through the day. I really will be surprised if it's a BFP. Only time will tell...

I'm testing tomorrow as well and I don't know what to think/feel anymore. Every time I go to the bathroom I say a little prayer for AF to not be visiting. I feel something a little bit "off" in my tummy. Sometimes I'm sure it's AF and I quickly try to put that thought out of my head for fear that negative thinking will become my self-fulfilling prophecy. Then I think, maybe that's what it feels like when the baby is cooking in there. But I don't want to get my hopes up too high because the let-down will do God-knows-what to me (this is our first medicated cycle). My DH doesn't want me to test without him so I either have to wake him up in the morning before I leave for work (which would be torture for him and I don't want to torture him) or wait until I get home after work to test (which will be torture for me). Very few people actually know what I'm going through and I don't want to talk to them anymore because I feel like I'm just regurgitating the same conversation. This is a bit maddening ladies. DH and I need this to happen ASAP, we're gettin old!
