Good for you!!! You'll be great!
  • This might be too personal of a question, but when i tried running with my dog a few weeks ago, my boobs/nipples were way to sensitive against my bra for it to be comfortable. Since then it has just been fast walks or riding the excercise bike. Is that just a me issue or have others had it too? And if so, how did you deal with it so you could run?

I wear pads in your bra and make sure the bra is tight so nothing really rubs. It's worked well for me so far!
  • I haven't had the boob issue, mine has been down south. I had a sulca tear, and I can't get a mile in without getting sore down there. It's getting very frustrating
  • I'm struggling getting back to running and I know it's the extra pregnancy weight I'm carrying and lack of activity. Have tried a few times since got the all clear after csection and had to take breaks. I've been doing elliptical more regularly instead. I did a half marathon one year ago right before I got pregnant and now I can't even believe I was able to do that. Really want to get back to running. How are you ladies doing it?
  • I've never been a super long-distance runner, just a couple of 5ks, but I've been running 1-2 miles a day lately. It's so hard! I'm so much slower than I used to be, but I know I will get better as time goes on. I just have to keep telling myself that I haven't run in a year, so my body needs time to adjust.
  • I have to wear a pad when I run because I pee my pants!!! It's awful!

The fact that you're trying is amazing in itself! I think the C section might make things trickier...that's a huge thing to recover from! Keep taking the breaks and be patient with yourself. Your body has already done amazing things and will continue to. Keep fighting the good fight sister!
  • @bellarose212 I'm glad I'm not the only one! I feel like I need to do kegels if I ever want to run again! It is crazy!
