Thinking of everyone tonight, sounds like it's been a tough day for many... FX for everything being ok and doctors being helpful. Keep us posted...

I'm in the same boat re: nightmares, the mind is a really creative tormentor...

(edited to remove a word that i may have used incorrectly)
  • @amyberkley86 sending T&Ps. Everything is crossed for you.
  • Thinking of you @amyberkley86 keeping everything crossed for you. You and your DH are in my prayers!
  • I'm PGAL early October, mmc at 10 weeks, pregnancy stopped at 7 weeks. I had one good US at 7 weeks.

I have my next ultrasound at 7 weeks on Dec 7. One week to go. I'm really nervous and I convinced myself not to go to the urgent care clinic to get an early ultrasound. I've had two moments of sort-of spotting so far (more like light pink/brown discharge) that is worrying but could be nothing. It's so hard to tell at this stage.

The good news is my nausea came on strong starting Friday, which makes me feel better. So far I haven't had too much exhaustion, and my breasts are a bit tender but not much. I'm really reassured by the nausea though.

It's so hard to relax and put things in God's hands. I've been praying a lot for this baby to be okay.

I'm hoping that next Monday I get my first look at a healthy little embryo!
  • On my last pregnancy the director said there are lots of reasons for spotting / discharge - irritation (sex or Pap smear) to the sensitive cervix, old blood from the implantation, or just random bleeding that has nothing to do with a MC. So I wouldn't worry, especially since it is just oddly tinted discharge.
  • I just saw how a lot of ladies had a rough weekend. Praying for good outcomes and for good scans for those who go in today.

  • Thinking of you all today!
  • Good luck for today's u/s!!!!
  • FX for everyone with scans today.  Hoping for lots of good updates.  I've been struggling with the nausea and haven't kept anything down for over 24 hours.  Finally caved and called my doctor this morning who immediately sent me home from work with a prescription for diclegis.  I have to take some now and then again this afternoon and then start taking it daily at night. The cramping I had yesterday is gone, so I'm hoping it was related to the vomiting or the pain I had experienced previously.

  • @BostonBaby1 sorry, just now got your response. I've been off tb a few days. But i don't go back until December 23rd as of right now. The more research I have done, the more calm I feel. The level of concern with the heartbeat is around 80-90 bpm. I haven't talked to my OB but I think she will call if she is concerned. I'm trying to stay level headed and not freak out.

  • I got my blood test 3- hour glucose and progesterone level test back- they said they were just checking my progesterone because that office (I switched from one office to an obgyn) hadn't yet checked it. When I had my progesterone tested (I'm having twins) on Oct. 27, it was 31. Wednesday, Nov. 25, it was 19.6.

That's a big drop to me, no? I still have sore boobs, and I'm totally sick, and they didn't flag the number as abnormal, and they should also have my last number because the other office was supposed to send over my medical history, but I called anyway and asked a nurse to call me back to tell me if a fluctuation like that is normal, because I think not. And if it's low, then I need to be taking progesterone supplements, so now I'm stressed about it.

I'm 9 w 3 d- and still have no cramping (very light, stretching kind, not like period cramps), no bleeding or spotting- I'm just blah!

On the other hand, I don't have gestational diabetes. Passed that test, at least.
  • @jlgriff11 it's my understanding that your progesterone is still normal and can fluctuate. You can always call to double check.
  • Congrats @jlgriff11 on passing the diabetes test! Hope the rest comes back through positive.

I'm waiting to go in for my scan now...

Bleeding has slowed/pretty much stopped today which is good but I'm a little bit crampy. Won't be happy until they say that everything is normal. Hope to update with good news after!
  • First time checking in here!

Tomorrow I will be 6 weeks which is when we miscarried last month (Oct 24) and I am a little scared. In this moment, I am feeling much more positive - I have felt my stomach stretching and that sort of thing. Although I won't have my ultrasound until Thursday this week - alone!!! DH won't be able to attend due to work, but I am praying it all goes well.

    *Sigh* Make it easier.

@BostonBaby1 I did call- waiting for a return call. I know since it didn't flag it's within normal range, but you know me- always worried about everything. :)

GOOD LUCK to everyone else. :)
  • @amyberkley86 Everything is crossed for you!

@orangecrayon I also have a scan on Thursday sans DH. Fx everything goes great for you.
  • Saw our baby! Got a small bleed but they said it could just be implantation. Now dated at 8 weeks and 3 days so I'm back to my original due date!

Very excited that we get to take a picture of the US home and now just have to take it very easy to make sure the bleed doesn't turn into anything more.
  • Thanks for your thoughts ladies! I have a couple of hours to my scan. Saying lots of prayers and trying to soothe my nerves.

Good luck to all those with scans today as well! @amyberkley86

@jlgriff11 Thoughts coming your way today as well!
  • Hi @mgstervt you made the right decision, there are few downsides to Diclegis and it might help quite a bit... Don't be discouraged if it takes a few days to work and you're feeling drowsy in the meantime, the drowsiness will subside (I can function pretty much normally on it now, going to work and everything). I'm still not feeling great, but it's making things more tolerable so it's a good thing to try, really few downsides.

    Good luck everyone today!
  • @amyberkley86 Glad you got good news at your scan! Just waiting to go into mine now.
  • Good luck @silvers626 - let us know how you get on. X
