Ooh, that's bad. I mean, I wasn't expecting much, but that's really bad.
This was my thoughts. With Camden and Jaxson I wasn't expecting to be blown away. I was expecting trendy like Aubree, Aria, Henley, Brinley, Kinsley etc. I was not thinking this and yet it somehow made what I was even imagining worse.
I have a friend whose daughter is Sailor and I think it's cute. But I think paired with a boys middle name and the last name Cutler it is pretty terrible.
When will people realize that throwing a Y in a name isn't unique. It's actually the opposite since everyone seems to be doing it now. Wanna be unique? Spell the name right, no one else is doing it. I'm so over the Y.
Well, from the mom of Jaxon, I was not really expecting greatness. I do not understand pairing the name Sailor (or Saylor since its tres youneeke to be a Cutler) with a proper name. It always makes me think that you're calling someone by their rank and last name. No bueno.
That's exactly what she said in the article I read...she met a lady with a dog named Sailor and it stuck in her mind. So now her kid is named after some random lady's dog.
So I guess celebrities gave decided James is a girl's name now? I'm a bit surprised they haven't been using Jaymes for females honestly.
What's next? Peter? John? I'll be impressed when someone gets around to naming their son Debra though. That would actually make the statement that the people who use the overdone "boy name on a girl" trend are trying to make.
I'm now inspired to name my baby Clayre instead of Claire. Might have to rethink the middle name, too. Thank god I still have almost 5 months to think about it.
