TTC #4 since mmc in July. this is the 4th month since.

I've gotten pg 6 times, all within a few months, it's keeping the pg the whole 9 months that I've struggled with. I'm 50/50. I'm frustrated and sad today. Sorry for the whine, I know others have their own difficulties. I'm just feeling very down today.

Not doing anything other than tracking cycles and enjoying trying :)

    Feeling O pains today!

Feeling discouraged with the O pains coming a little early since I have been out of town the last four days away from my SO. Was hoping for better timing our first month, but we still have tonight :)

Doing a low-key friendsgiving! Pretty excited because I was stuck at home with a respiratory infection last year and missed out on all the food!

TTC #1 for a LONG time.

IVF #1!  I go in for one last ultrasound and blood work on Friday morning and then I have my egg retrieval on Sunday.

I'm currently on the meds that are listed in my signature, and I'm getting good at giving myself shots.  After the egg retrieval on Sunday we have to wait until early January for the transfer due to the clinic being closed for cleaning and holiday.

I'm excited still, even knowing I won't be having a fresh transfer.  Hoping I have lots of good eggs retrieved on Sunday.

I'm going to my crazy aunt's house for Thanksgiving. She's a health freak and has asked everyone to try to leave as much salt, butter, and sugar out of everything if possible.  She told my stepmom to make sweet potato casserole without marshmallows. that's the best part!  Hope she enjoys the batches of homemade brownies.  I assure you they have full butter, sugar, and Hershey's cocoa in there..

I am thankful for the ladies in the TTC after 35 and the Infertility forums.  I'm thankful for the health, love, and support of my husband, parents, and pets during my struggle to conceive. I hope everyone has a wonderful and memorable Thanksgiving!

@happyktmom, Happy anniversary!  I hope you have a great time and get to enjoy your time with you and your husband.
Fx for you, @dolphin012.  I'll be thinking of you on Monday!

    2. TTC #2 since Fall of 2015, 2 MC's and 1 CP since we started trying.
    3. This cycle we did progesterone and baby aspirin. Although I'm about to stop the progesterone since it looks like its not the month for us.
    4. Currently on CD32, 13 DPO, been testing daily since 9 DPO and getting negatives every day. if I don't get a positive by tomorrow Ill call the month a bust.
    5. Resigned to this not being our month at this point. Happy that Ill be able to drink some wine over the holiday weekend since it means being around my in-laws which is always stressful.
QOTW: We are traveling to Orange County (CA) for Thanksgiving... DH's family. Then we will fly to Hawaii on Monday for our anniversary (3 years). I am thankful for my amazing husband who is always so understanding, and my DD who I love more than anything.

TTC #2 for almost a year now. Ugh.

Same old thing here--opks and preseed

    CD 15--probably 2DPO.

Feeling hopeful, despite my lows after last month didn't work. A BFP would be the perfect bday present (AF is due 9 days before my birthday--I'm hoping to celebrate good news) and I would LOVE to give the gift of good news to our family on Christmas. But we shall see. Trying to be patient and just go with the flow. We all know how easy that is! Haha

On hour 7 of our drive to Nashville right now. We'll spend thanksgiving with DH's sister and her family there. Thankful for family, my DH (celebrated our third anniversary yesterday!), and, of course, LO. Oh! And really thankful for you all too. This community helps keep my hope alive. :)

    2. TTC #1, NPNT since 11/12, actively trying since 8/14 (two losses in 2014)

    3. First medicated cycle: 5mg letrozole (CD3-7), Ovidrel trigger shot + TI. Still doing all the natural things: acupuncture & herbs, prenatals, evening primrose oil, CoQ10, probiotics, Vit D, fish oil, Myo-inositol, D-Chiro-Inositol, cayenne, flaxseed oil. Also taking cabergoline to bring down my prolactin levels.

    4. CD23, 7dpo

    5. Feeling excited ladies! My progesterone test yesterday (at 6dpo) was 17.2 so this confirms that I definitely did ovulate (despite the fact that my temps have been a bit wonky) and that my body is producing progesterone on its own!! Wahoo!! I will be waiting until Thur, 12/3 to test, which will be 14dpo.

Today H and I are going to a vegan dinner event with some friends. It's apparently a very big event with TONS of food, including gluten-free options, so we're excited. H was a bit bummed about not getting any turkey so we're stopping by at another friend's house after the dinner event so he gobble down some turkey. It should be a good day.

I am thankful for my patient, understanding husband, my awesome friends, my career/job (which I love), all of my adoring students, a strong, physically active body, all of my family (who are pretty great), a sweet cozy home, and good insurance that covers basic infertility treatments (I had to wait a long time for that last one!). Oh, and also grateful for all of you because I'd be sooooo lost without my fellow Bumpies!! Hope you all have a wonderful day!!!

  • Happy Thanksgiving!

UIU #1 was a bust! I meant to chant "no whammy, no whammy, no whammy" during the procedure, but forgot. That probably had something to do with it....

    So moving on...

    1. BernieRae from Oregon (that makes 3 from Oregon!)

    2. TTC #1 for 2+ years

    3. Taking a month off from IUI/RE stuff. Will probably still do opks and preseed. Will try to focus on good overall health and happiness for me and DH. I also want to get a copy of our labs from the RE. I know all the results said we ok for IUI, but now I'm curious about the exact numbers and what everything means.

    QOTW

Making sweet potatoes and stuffing and heading to a "friendsgiving" potluck tonight. Happy that DH will get to join me. He's a nurse and doesn't always have holidays off. DH & I grew up in the Chicagoland area and my immediate family is now spread out over several states. We mostly try to get together during the off peak travel times. MLK day weekend has become a traditional weekend for my mom and sister and I to meet up :)

    2. TTC #2 for a LONG TIME!! (Stopped breastfeeding in 3/14, period returned 6/14 and so it began...)

    3. Gearing up to start stims for IVF #1.  Baseline ultrasound and lab yesterday looked good.  Start my injections tomorrow.  Also doing all the things - watching my diet (though a little off the rails right now - yikes), no alcohol, no caffeine, no diet pop, decreased sugar, gluten, dairy, CoQ10, Fish oil (6grams), PNV, Acupuncture, MAM, Reiki.

    4. CD2, AF is in full force.  UGH!

    5. I'm at work today.  My family is home celebrating, but I will get leftovers.  Less temptation that way anyway!  I'm thankful for my awesome hubby, my darling daughter, my great job with insurance that covered most of my IVF meds, my hubby's awesome new job, my family and friends who are supporting me through probably the worst thing I've ever dealt with (infertility), and of course all my Bump friends!  Thank you all!!

  • Kathleen in GA

    TTC #1 since early 2015

Gearing up for IVF in January.  I start birth control as soon as my next period starts.

CD 17, and no shift in my BBT at all this cycle.  I'm worried that this is an anovulatory cycle, and that it will be irregular, throwing off the timing for everything.

I thought it was going to be an easy cycle (not TTC this time), but the indications that it's anovulatory are bugging me.

We just got home from my parents' house, where we ate dinner with them, my grandmother, my uncle, and his girlfriend.  This was the first time my uncle met anyone I've been with, and I'd never talked to him about being gay, so I was a little nervous.  But he was fine.

I'm incredibly grateful for my wife.  She always makes me smile.  No matter what happens, I've got her.

Oh!  And here's some good news.  I talked to my brother on the phone today, and the conversation got around to infertility.  And I got the courage to ask him if he might start thinking about whether he might be okay donating sperm, if we decide to rely on my wife's eggs.  And he said yes, maybe!  I feel so much better about the prospect of giving up on my own eggs if we can use his sperm, because he and I are so close genetically.  And I'd of course be delighted to have a kid who is not genetically linked to me, but... it would be nice.
Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science

    7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!
fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP!
Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)

Everything and the kitchen sink to try and get a natural bfp (plus added b6 and raspberry leaf tea this cycle to lengthen my lp and thicken my lining). Saw my maya abdominal massage therapist a couple days ago and she says my uterus is no longer retroverted and is convinced it's just a matter of time. Her optimism is infectious!

    CD 8, wto

Feeling hopeful despite myself, even though I was recently contemplating being done w/ttc for my sanity.

Thankful for my family, my health, and the peace and security we enjoy in a world where so many are suffering and fear for their lives on a daily basis. Trying to keep ttc in perspective...

    2.TTC #1 for 5 months

    3. I take a PNV, Vit D, CoQ10, Selenium, herbs from my naturopath and I tried mucinex this cycle to see what would happen.I am taking vitex during the 2WW for the first time as well. Vitex has been an awesome addition! I usually get brest tenderness 2DPO, but this month I don't have any yet. Wahoo!  I have been doing Mayan Abdominal massage and of course acupuncture! I use OPK's and saliva ferning to predict O.

    4. Where are you in your cycle? 5DPO, this 2ww seems even slower then last month!

    5. I feel blah! Our timing was -4 and -2 because I needed a break! TMS (too much sex) is not always a good thing

QOTW:  I am thankful for my kitten soul mate, my life partner DH, my secluded house where I can hibernate for days without seeing anyone (I like solitude) the amazing organic food in my fridge and pantry, for being gluten free this month (I go on and off the wagon all the time!) so many other things...plus all of you:)

  • @Mamafesto - I remembered that I still had an almost full box of raspberry leaf tea and started drinking it again yesterday. It's supposed to be good to drink for the first half of the cycle, right? Good luck to you!

I had never heard of Mayan abdominal massage until joining this board. it's been great hearing about alternative ways to boost fertility. Given that I have both infertility and a secondary health issue I think it's time I see a Naturopath. Thank you, everyone, for the inspiration.

    4. CD29 and still waiting to O.  I don't know what's worse,. waiting to O at day 29, or waiting for my periods on day 40.

    5. How do you feel about this cycle?
Confused!  I've had ridiculous amounts of CF for over week (seriously - I'm using pads), and no temperature jump.

Are there any kind souls that could look at my chart?  Anyone ever experience anything like this.  this is two wierd cycles back to back and it's driving my slightly nuts.
