Update: Please help me look at my hcg numbers

Here they are by date:

68-11/13
165- 11/16 ( doubled)
399 - 11/18 ( doubled)
755 -11/20
1451- 11/23 - 5 weeks, 3 days

I had an ultrasound on 11/23 and they saw the sac with small embryo there. That seems like good news, but my numbers scare me a bit. I have another ultrasound at 6 weeks 3 days to look for the heartbeat. Can anyone share a positive outcome with similar stats?

Update:Last Tuesday the fertility clinic told me I likely didn't have a viable pregnancy ( combination of slow rising levels and smaller size egg sac). Today at my 6 week 4 day scan we saw a good heartbeat. They are cautiously optimistic!!!

If your doctor hasn't mentioned any concern with your numbers, I would really just try not to worry. HCG varies so greatly from woman to woman through a pregnancy that it wouldn't be all that helpful to see other numbers. Anyhow, I wish you luck!

If they saw sac and embryo it's probably a good sign. That early, it's really hard to see anything. How did you get such an early US?

My first was at 7w4d but baby only measured 6w5d and we saw and heard HB

My wife and I had to go through a fertility clinic ( no fertility issues, just two ladies who needed to make a baby). They do a lot of blood work and ultrasounds early on.

Comparing one person's numbers to another person's numbers is not a good idea, it'll just stress you out. Anything in the huge range of "normal" is good as long as the numbers are increasing at the right rate.

They look for numbers that steadily rise and come close to doubling every 48-72 hours. To me, your numbers seem to be doing well and I agree that if your RE hasn't mentioned concerns, you don't need to worry so much yourself.
