Yes, that was my kid, maintaining his politeness while in the fits of a tantrum.  I picked him up from DCPs yesterday and he wanted cookies for the ride home and I only had apple slices.  He screamed the entire way home for cookies and when I tried to offer him the apples, he'd push them away while screaming, "NOOOO THAAAANK YOOOU!".  So I started asking him all sorts of things, "Do you want to see your dogs?" "Do you want to go to the park?" "Do you want to go home & play?" "Do you want to read a book?" "Do you want to listen to the radio?" Every question was answered the same way.  It made me laugh so I kept asking more and more ridiculous questions "Do you want to vote for McCain?" "Do you think there should be a federal bailout?"  He answered each one "NOOOO THAAAANK YOOOU!" until he realized I was being silly and started laughing at me, too.
