We've decided on Liliana for her first name. For middle names we are still debating between a few. Marie-my deceased mother's middle name. Michelle-my sister and my favorite cousin's middle name. Louise-me and DH both have aunts we are very close to that have this middle name, and possibly even Elizabeth-which is my middle name.
Arizona after Dr. Arizona Robbins from Grey's Anatomy. I'm a pediatric nurse and my SO was named after his mom's favorite soap opera, so we decided to name her after our favorite doctor on Grey's Anatomy.
Her middle name is my middle name, which my older daughter also has the same middle name. It's a rare name so I don't like to share it, but it starts with an R.
We're team green, so have a few names picked out. If its a boy it will likely be Amos Milton. Amos is a name we both liked, its biblical, not often used but still normal, and sounds good on the sports field "Mossy!!" while Milton is my Grandfather in laws name. He is a man we both really admire, so we would love bub to look up to him too.
If its a girl it will likely be Matilda Valerie. We really like the Aussie name Matilda. With 3 syllables it works well with our short last name, and it can be shortened to Matty/Maddy for a tomboy, or Tillie for a girly-girl (or whatever she likes!). Valerie is my mums name, who died when I was 16. Bub is actually due on mums birthday, so will definitely have her name if it is a girl!
Omg @happyandhopeful3 I thought you were serious for a moment which scared me & then I was like "phew" when I read the rest. I feel I can sleep tonight now!
We say we've decided but who knows what will happy when we see the baby. We like Dominic William for a boy, William is my dad's name and Dominic works with for the Italians in our family. And Laurel Rosina for a girl. Laurel is the name of the street the first house I purchased was in, which was also my grandmother's house. And both of our grandmothers are/were Rosina. Everyone in my family has used Rose as a middle name so we wanted to be a bit different. I joke though that if it's a boy and he doesn't come out bald we can't do Dominic. We're Fast and Furious fans so Dom is bald in our minds.
Mary is my beloved paternal grandmother's name (she is deceased now), but I told her when she was alive that if I ever had another girl I would name her Mary. And we picked Rose because we both like it!
It's looking very likely that our little girl is going to be Scarlett Marie. Scarlett is a name we both like and agree on and Marie is my middle name and also my grand mothers. To make things a bit more interesting our last name is White. So she will be Scarlett White little pink girl
Benjamin Adam... Benjamin because I love that name and Adam after my brother who passed away five years ago. It is a sweet way to keep him included in our family .
Jaxson or Jackson... We haven't decided on the spelling yet. His nickname will be Jax most likely. Of course after Sons of Anarchy. His middle name will probably be James after his father. So Jaxson James haha.
We are still open to other names as well. So keep the ideas coming ladies haha.
Denver- I found on a hippie website, it's the only name my SO and I agreed on. ( I was shooting for Emilio -nickname milo, but my SO has a family member with that name)
This is more like 90%, but we are pretty set on Ella Sloane. We just liked the first name, and the middle name sounds strong but not "weird", and has Irish heritage which both of our families share. My family says the names don't "go", but I love them both. I've always liked Sloane, so I'm excited to use it for my little gal.
Bates Ross! My husband came up with Bates and I was instantly in love. I love last names as first names. Ross is a family name for my husband's side so we knew that would be the middle name for sure.
As of now, his name will be Edwin Sean. Edwin is named after my father in law who passed away unexpectedly a few years ago after a horrible motorcycle accident (he was expected to live). He was the reason I met my husband and had a big, big hand in talking him into proposing to me (they had talked about it the day before his accident--my husband always said he wasn't ever going to get married or it would be several years away). And Sean is my husbands name. It is a tradition in his family to use the fathers first name as your first born son's middle name. The middle name will stay the same for sure, however if he comes out and we don't believe he looks like an Edwin (Eddy for short), we will pick another name
I wasn't going to post anything but I want to now after hearing all of these pretty names. Lol. Our little girl is going to be named Graceland Amanda Faith.

I love the name Sloane. We already have a Cameron and Sloane would be the second Ferris Bueller's Day Off character if we used it, so my husband said no.
We're huge marvel movie/ agents of shiel fans, and our 1st Logan is actually named after wolverine, since I couldn't handle naming him Hugh William is after my dad. We've decided any boys we have from here on out we are sticking with Marvel characters.
Harlo James. Its a name that no one has really heard of and We wanted our boys to have the same initials and middle name. Our first is Hunter James Jr.
We are naming our girl Aria Belle. Aria because we spent our honeymoon at the Aria in Vegas, plus we are huge game of Thrones fans . Belle comes from my husband's 13 year old daughter. Her middle name is Isabella and Belle is the little version of that so we thought it was fitting.
We chose Amelia Michelle at about week 8...lol. Amelia because I really wanted something old fashioned, and may or may not be a slight Doctor Who reference...
We're naming our boy Benno Mathias. Benno (Ben) after my maternal grandpa who passed away (2008) and Mathias after my DH's maternal grandpa who passed away (2001). Both meant so much to us and we miss them like crazy!

One of my good friends is an Amelia Michelle! She goes by Ami. I know another Amelia who is a Millie, and another who is a Mia.
Married DW 08.2013; AI 2x; IUI 6x; IUI #7 05.2015; DD born 2.2016 ; Reciprocal IVF FET #1 on 11.18.2020
Because my husband liked Caroline and I thought it was too stuffy. He also liked Madeleine but that name has been ruined for me. So this was a compromise that kept the same sound.
We are having a boy and naming him Oliver Michael. Oliver because it is traditional but not overly common (at least not in the U.S.) and Michael because it is my father's middle name (and also my FIL's and brother's). We went through so many names before we settled on Oliver (both of us would secretly admit that we hated the name the other had picked after a few days of trying it out). Originally neither of us had ever met an Oliver. Now, I hear it all the time but it's too late to go back and come up with a new name, I can't imagine him as anything else.
If LO was a girl- she was going to be Amelia Frances. Amelia was a tribute name after DH's grandmother (Emily) and Frances after my grandmother.
Melody is in memory of my paternal grandfather who passed before I was born. I am the only grandchild he didn't get to meet. His middle name was Melrose. My DH is totally against "recycling" names (he shares a name with his father) so we compromised and will name (if #2 is a girl) the second baby Rose. So together they will be Melody Rose.
Jade is just a name DH has always loved, and it so happens that my niece has Jade as a middle name, so we thought we would start a tradition

We decided on Elizabeth Natalie. Husband wanted Ellie and I wanted Natalie. I like traditional names, so we compromised on Elizabeth and will call her Ellie. Natalie is my grandmothers name and I think it's beautiful.
Lucas Joseph. (NN Luca) Lucas was our pick if my 5 year old was a boy. (She was not!) I've spent many years working hard to keep that name out of people's mouths for their kids. I'd always suggest something else. You know. Just in case.
Boyd David... Hubby is Boyd III, David is my Dad and brother. I wanted a different middle name to avoid the confusion of 4 them in the same room. I would have loved Jason as a middle name for a dear friend of mine for 20+ years who passed unexpectedly in June, but with a last name that sounds like Craving, the initials BJ are that much worse. I may just call LO Bubba as a nickname, as I was the only one Jason would let call him that (all 300lb, 6'2" farm boy that he was). Even mentioning him now, the hormones have sent a couple of tears rolling.
Our baby girl is going to be named Elena Lucille I found out after telling my grandma the name that Elena was her grandmas middle name (spelled Helena, pronounced without the H) so it's sort of an accidental family name! And I'm just in love with the name Lucille but not a huge fan of Lucy so we decided that would be a good middle name!

Denver Wayne
Denver- I found on a hippie website, it's the only name my SO and I agreed on.
( I was shooting for Emilio -nickname milo, but my SO has a family member with that name)
Wayne- is my fathers middle name.
Lillie for a girl (no middle name)
Parker for a boy (no middle name)
SO really likes Parker for a girl as well. We will see I prefer Lillie as its so pretty.
We have a Brynn and a Cameron and I don't really think any of our shortlist names match the Welsh names of our older two.
My husband came up with Bates and I was instantly in love. I love last names as first names. Ross is a family name for my husband's side so we knew that would be the middle name for sure.

Turns out just in case does happen.
