My stomach is starting to make it a bit harder for me to landscape my goods. I can't stand for things to be out of control down there (when I'm of my right mind) and am thinking about waxing. I've never done it. Anyone thinking about doing it or do it already??

I know that the first time is always the worst and it will probably get better after a few times.. but I just don't know if i can do it
I do full Brazilians and plan to keep going throughout this pregnancy. My waxing lady was actually the first person to spot that I'd gotten knocked up who didn't know about it beforehand.

Butt hair! Hah! Seriously though.
I have to laugh at this. When I ended up with a serious infected hair because I couldn't see anymore to shave, I gave up. I totally rocked the bush during labor and delivery. Paying someone to wax never crossed my mind. We tend to only buy the necessities as we live on an extremely tight budget and that wasn't a necessity to me.

Here's a fun fact: I spent thousands on laser hair removal a couple of years ago for my bikini area. I knew before going into it that it doesn't last forever and your hair will eventually grow back down the road. Unfortunately, down the road for me meant as soon as my pregnancy hormones kicked in. That was a short lived luxury.
First time brazillians usually suck pretty bad... (Sensitive area, deep rooted hair...) but if you're willing to try it, give it a second go. It's always WAY better the second time. (Also taking Advil can really help).
If you're going to do it, call around and ask if they use hard wax. It's infinately more comfortable than soft wax, as if done properly should only attach to the hair and not the skin! (The kind I use also requires a thin layer of oil on the skin for an added barrier). Hard wax also doesn't leave as much residue after so your bits don't stick together...
One extra tip for y'all that is pregnancy specific... If you're thinking of body waxing, and there is some new hair that wasn't there before your pregnancy (usually along the belly, but can appear in other places) DO NOT WAX IT. It will fall out after pregnancy. Waxing it can stimulate the root and then it won't fall out after pregnancy. Just shave it for the next little while.
Well there is my two cents, hope that was helpful! Any other questions feel free to ask!

Just relax while you're there and don't feel awkward--- if you ask your esthetician, she/ he will tell you that most of the appointments they have are for Brazilians. They have multiple ones in a day and aren't phased by much! Just go to someone with good reviews online and it honestly won't hurt much! Good luck!
I leave my labia alone and shave those.
I've gotten waxes before and I must say that the only time I get in-grown hairs is after a wax. This has happened at multiple, high-end places, so I think it is just my skin. I never get in-growns from shaving so I am sticking to that. Although I officially cannot see my lady bits, so I have been shaving blind. That is a little scary.
ETA: As I get closer to labor, I am thinking about not shaving at all. I can't imagine the annoyance of hair growing back coupled with delivery! No thank you! I may have to steal H's beard trimmer at that point.
Haha!
Have you guys tried using mirrors? Just get a cheapie hand mirror from the drugstore and perch over it (you might have to angle it a bit by propping it against something). This works for me but I also don't have that big of a belly bump yet, so maybe it wouldn't work later on.
