I'm 35. Happy to have found you all. I always wanted a big family so I feel grateful we have a 3rd on the way. I wish I had more time to have more kids, but this will probably be the oldest I'll feel comfortable being pregnant. I don't like being labeled AMA!
Well ladies, it looks like I'm out of this game for now . I had some spotting yesterday and woke up with heavy bleeding this morning. I hope everyone has a healthy pregnancy!! Thoughts and prayers with you all!!
I'm 36 and this is my first pregnancy. My husband and I suspect I misscarried in Aug when I was 5 days late and had severe cramping with throwing up. Positive thoughts this time...So far we are 6.5 weeks. My first dr appointment is next week. What is AMA?
I just turned 40 and found out I'm expecting our 5th child. The last 2 were delivered at 36 and 38. The last one was the only one that I agreed to additional testing like the Counsyl genetic test and extra u/s. Insurance wouldn't cover the Mat21 test
Married my best friend on 5/14/05

Hello ladies! I am 36 and will be 37 when I am due (in July). I am a FTM and the anxiety is through the roof. Even though this was a planned pregnancy, I've had some mixed feelings over the simple fact that we conceived so quickly (I was only off the pill for a month). It's just been a lot to take in and a bit overwhelming. I also have a history of depression and have been fretting over that. Have my first OB appointment today just to get established as a patient. It's so nice to know that I am not alone. Thanks everyone for sharing your stories.
Hello AMAs! This is our first baby. Both of us are 38 (DH will be 39 before birth and I will be 39 a few weeks after birth). EDD July 15th. My first Dr appointment is Dec 8th around 8 weeks. Crossing fingers that everything goes well. Looking forward to the journey and having a support system here!!
Heyo! I'm 35, will be 36 when I deliver EDD 7/6. DH is almost 46. For us this is our first baby and my first pregnancy. So far, things seem to be progressing normally and I feel pretty fortunate about that. Been reading some others posts on here and compared to some, my daily violent dry heaves and Great Lake-style night sweats seem to be a cake-walk! All of you are such Tigresses!
I'm 36 and 8w with my 3rd! My son is 8 and daughter is 6, so I feel like it's my first pregnancy all over again. I'm incredibly anxious for my appointment on Tuesday; I miscarried in July and the 1st US was the detector. Fingers crossed that everything is okay and "baking" the way it should be!
@knitmama I think they recently changed the name to QNatal...something. I was trying to remember what it was originally called. Thanks for the reminder! I will be 35 when this baby is born so I will be eligible to have this blood test done, and insurance will cover! I'm impatient so I'm excited because I want to find out whether it will be a boy or girl asap and not have to wait until 18-20 weeks.
39 with #3, will be 40 when born , and husband will be 43. I had fairly easy pregnancies , so not really worried about my age suddenly making things weird
39 here, will be 40 in a few weeks. Had DD at 38. Dr called me Geriatric with the first one!!! AMA all the way. I'm 5 weeks and a few days I think. I had no idea when I ovulated. I had pink and brown discharge on Friday which scared the crap out of me. Dr says I have an inflamed cervix, could be bacterial vaginosis (????), off to get an early pregnancy scAn next week. I'd love to see a heartbeat but I think it'll be too early (my cycles are really long so the usual counting from your last period doesn't work for me). No discharge today It feels like the first one again. I had DD in the USA and now I am in the UK, so any UK mums I'll be after advice
Hi ladies! I'm 38 and due 7/6 with our surprise 3rd. DD is 12 and DS is 8. It's crazy starting all over again but we're very excited. It's great to see this group here!

There are several different brands of the test. Harmony is another. It just depends one what your OB practice and insurance use.
I will be 38 when I deliver. I had a mc the month before I got pg wih this one and a mc in March. I am definitely cautious! I am 7w 3d today (didn't make it that far with the previous 2)! I have girls 16, 12, & 3. This will be the last one for us! I hope everything goes well for all of us and we get to support each other through healthy pregnancies! Stay positive ladies! Enjoy every day!
Well I'm 38 with my 3rd. Life was just to busy to add a 3rd under 3yo. We paused and now there will be 41/2 yrs between baby & middle & 6 yrs between baby & oldest. I stopped worring about my age & the age gaps because In the end what else will your child know? They won't know how it could have been because this is how their family is. Plus me & my sister are 6 years apart and now we are good friends. Hoping we add a girl to the mix!
Hi AMA moms! I'm 37 and due July 7 with our 3rd. My two boys will just have turned 5 and 7 when baby arrives. This one was a huge surprise to say the least but we're thrilled. I think the age gap will be amazing. Boys will get the summer with their -I almost wrote sister, but don't know sex!- sibling and then wil be in school full time together. No elementary school then preschool drop off and me with just baby all day. Cannot wait.
I had my first 10 years ago with no issues experience HTN towards the end. I'll be 36 by the time this baby is born and have had new health issues... 1. Diagnosed with Meniere's disease the week before. 2. I'm borderline diabetic and have already had episodes of both hyper/hypo glycemia that we're trying to control with diet. 3. Of course bp fluctuates. We definitely think/pray this is a girl! This will definitely be our last! I feel to old for this now! Ha! Prayers for us all!
Hi well I'm 39 and had a miscarriage in January at 14 weeks, and just found out a couple weeks ago that we're pregnant at the exact same time we found out last year! So I'm a little nervous but feeling more blessed and excited to worry too much! Just believing for a happy healthy baby! I'm 7w3d today and have my next apt at 8w on 11/30 can't wait to see my little jelly bean!!
@lilurbanik Welcome! Yes, there are many of us here who have had losses, but the stress and worry is still much the same whether you've had an mc or not. Pregnancy is extremely stressful but so worth it! Stay calm and love everyday that you are feeling well!
Looks like I'm out. No heartbeat, should have been 9 weeks by the last period. They are doing HCG tests, and if that isn't conclusive another US, but I doubt the outcome will be different. She is recommending D&C ASAP after that.

I'm incredibly sorry you're going through this. Holding out for a miracle. Sending T&Ps.
Looks like I'll be out soon too. No signs of a heartbeat at what should have been 7 weeks (already pushed the date back 1.5 weeks after last appointment). I've decided to wait until week 10 to see if there's been any progress.
