I am on the mend from a bout of mastitis and DH, LO, and I are in the car traveling from NC to NY for Thanksgiving. Baby is doing so, so well! I felt a tooth poking through this morning, too! It's everyone's first time meeting baby and I have a feeling that this trip will be great.

My random today is we finally moved to our new home!! After months of looking we found a home and I'm so thankful everything turned out fine! My little one took it well and he is now asleep in his new room! Although I won't transition him yet to his crib but I guess it counts that he is napping in it!
My dog died on Tuesday and last night one of my dad's dogs had to be put down.. Similar symptoms( and we live on the same land, about a football field apart), but can't find a common factor( food, things they could eat, etc.) I'm sick of my job and my left nipple is cracked. When it rains, it really does pour. I'm so grateful it's Friday and I have lots of snuggle time with my son between now and Monday.

I'm so sorry for your loss! My dog also had to be put down, it was one of the worst days for me, especially seeing him slowly go away and eventually stop breathing. It's hard because you take them into your family and love them so much. What helped me is to remember that he spent wonderful years with us and we enjoyed each and every one very much. Also someone once told me to not worry because dogs are so special to God, that there is a dog heaven just for them So I rather believe there is! Happy Saturday and happy snuggling!

@massey25, I am so sorry for your loss. I don't know what I will do when it's time for my Gonzo puppy. Especially now that I've seen how wonderful he is with Isabella.
So, we are on night 3 of Bella sleeping in her crib. She's done great so far and last night, she didn't even need comforted. So, what does a nervous mom do when she can't sleep even though her baby just fine and sleeping peacefully? I Facebook stalked all kinds of people from my past. Not the best way to spend an evening, and now I'm exhausted! Let's hope she naps today so I can sneak in a nap, too!
@vcard091678 thank you! Yay on the crib! Henry naps in his, but I haven't tried to get him to sleep in there at night yet. I think he might be ready, but I'm not.
@n3na94 4 is way too young. It breaks my heart when a pet is lost at any age. It will get better. My sister bought me a wood piece with her picture on it. She gave it to me last night and I lost it all over again. I just want her ashes back so I can have her home.
Anybody have any fun/funny stuff going on? I could definitely use some laughs today.
I finally decided to cut my hair short! I have been growing my hair for about 3 years and would only cut the ends but yesterday I finally decided I needed a new look. I haven't cut my hair since I was 9 months pregnant and didn't want to because I love long hair and now it's a little below my shoulders and layered! Can I just say though I'm really loving my new look! it's also easier to BF because I don't necessarily have to put my hair in a ponytail. The only thing that hasn't changed though is that my son still likes to pull it and play with it lol but I don't mind. Have a lovely Sunday mamas!
